I sent my 2 dogs to there for over the weekend. When picked up They did washed dog bed, and trim nails. Dogs look so happy and so exhausted. I can see how big different compare to the other place kennel to this place. The kennel services more care the dog and keep clean for dogs in the kennel. We stopped by their location on Friday to have a look and find out some details. We were told they had opening the following week and a bath and grooming would take about 2 hours. We called the following Monday and booked a slot for 9:00 AM on Wednesday. On Wednesady we arrived before they opened at 9:00 AM and were the first client there. We checked in and provided a photograph of the dog with the cut we wanted. They then told us he would be done in 4 hours, maybe 3, but would call us 20 minutes before he was ready. As we hadn't received any call by 12:00 noon (3 hours later) we called to check of the status and were told he was ready for pick-up. So much for the 20 minute advance notice. The end result was his cut was a whole lot shorter than we requested and his chest and inner thighs were almost bare. In looking him over once we got home I discovered a tick on his inner thigh that was clearly visible due to the lack of fur in that area. I'm confident he had the tick on him before we arrived at the groomer but would have thought they would have seen it and removed it during the grooming. Granted they were $16.00 cheaper than our regular goormer but certainly not worth it considering the excessive amount of time the dog had to be there, lack of the call to let us know he'd be ready pick-up in 20 minutes and the almost overall buzz cut he receiced. Fortunately it will grow back given time. Needless to say we will not be back.

After having issues with Petsmart grooming, I tried Auntie's Pet Spa in Albion (next to the post…read moreoffice) today during my lunch break to trim Riley's nails. Riley played the role of 'snippy little terrier'. The groomer came out to the waiting room to do them there first, but we quickly decided it was better up on a table. We did have to muzzle her. They let me put the muzzle on Riley, which was totally drama free. SO simple and easy and once it was on, they tightened it properly, got her up on the table, and literally a minute later, all her nails were cut AND dremeled! She was totally cool once up on the table. They did a wonderful job and gave her a 'pup cup' afterwards, which I had the groomer give to her, which she devoured. $15, walk in (nails only!!). The place was nice and open, it was clean, they absolutely had Riley's best interest in mind. 5 stars, two thumbs up! We'll be back in a month for sure! Parking is normally behind the building, but School St is being ripped up right now (10/25), so maybe call to ask for the best place to park? I parked at Albion park and walked down.

When I made the appt for my Maine Coon to be groomed i was informed he would be bathed and brushed,…read moreears cleaned, nails trimmed and he would be shaved into a "lion's cut" as per the description of the full service grooming package i was booked and ultimately paid for. Upon drop off i was told everything from the back of his front legs all the way to his sanitary area would be shaved. I agreed and thanked her for the explanation. When I arrived to pick him up i paid for the full service BEFORE they brought him upstairs to me, my mistake. When we arrived home i noted he smelled nice and clean and his ears were visibly cleaner, other than that you could not tell he had been to the groomers! His fur was still very lengthy on his entire belly from the back of his from legs all the way to his sanitary area. He had not been trimmed let alone shaved what so ever. I called to inquire and clarify the expected services and was told he was shaved and if i wasn't satisfied with it to bring him back in. I certainly was not about to bring him back after being charged $164.50 simply out of fear of what he may look like the next time after I had made the complaint. I am happy to read to many people have had positive experiences with this establishment, unfortunately I am NOT one of them. I feel as though they set the expectations for me two separate times, both on the phone and in person and I paid the full price for services that were not in fact completed. I hope you have a more positive experience than we did today.
