Seems relatively clean, and not so busy currently. I had called prior and the lady said the water is soft so I'd likely only need one detergent pod. She also mentioned how busy it was at the time I called so coming a couple hours after as she suggested paid off. :) Washing a bedspread for $4.75 for wash and she thought maybe $3-$4 dry on the high end. I'd definitely come back just for the customer service! So very sweet and helpful, not to mention its convenient location to my abode and about what I'd expect for cost. read more

As other reviews have mentioned, this is a smaller laundromat with ample seating, albeit a bit tight. That being said, it is kept impeccably clean (so you don't have to walk around looking for an acceptable spot to hang out for an hour). I needed a king-sized comforter washed and was dumbly trying to figure out which washer it fit in - lol! The attendant must've seen the anxiety on my face because she kindly pointed me to the two full-size washers. There are only two of the big ones, so if you come while it was busy, you might have to wait. However, they wash in about 25 minutes, so it wouldn't be too long. She then showed me which dryer would be the fastest, though it was twice as expensive as the others (3 min per 25c, versus 6min on the smaller dryers). When you factor in time, my guess is that it'd come out to the same price. Overall, it was $10 to wash my comforter, which was worth the peace of mind knowing it would be clean (compared to stuffing it into my washer at home) and it took less than an hour to get outta there. read more

Went here because I needed to do my laundry and I was in the area. Saw this on Yelp and decided to try it out. The washer is reasonable $3-5, dryers not really, it's about $0.25 per 5 minutes. I have seen other places that has more minutes. It's cleaned like they said, small place and easy to get in and out. read more

It was fairly busy during the week about the middle of the afternoon when I was there. I've tried several laundromats within different cities. I found this one to be on the smaller side, so you are very limited on space to move around or even fold your clothes. I also found it to be quite pricy compared to other laundromats within the city. Places to sit down are limited, so I chose to just go back out to my car and wait. My clothes did come very clean and smelled good. Dryer seemed to take longer then compared to other places. It was clean for the most part. Although I did notice the customers there were extremely rude, which has no reflection on the business as it was only an observation! read more

The taco sauce won the battle and my shirt was a mess! I finally gave up and accepted it was totally ruined. Until...I mentioned it to Doreen and suddenly my shirt came back to life! Doreen used her magical chemicals and she worked so hard to remove those nasty taco sauce stains. 5+ Stars Service! I walked into the place with a rolled rug under my arm and no clue how to get started. The staff kindly and graciously guided me to the correct size commercial washer and instructed on the nuisances of the machine (like how much soap to add and when). Then I got more help selecting the dryer and setting the temperature so not to damage the rug. I think almost anywhere can have coin operated equipment and a change machine. Lenexa Coin Laundry has a staff that is very helpful and treats you like the most important visitor of the day. They are busy, but don't seem inconvenienced at all when you ask for help. You will be surprised how helpful they are to a customer with a good attitude. They are patient with those that are rude, those that seem entitled and want to talk down to the staff. I couldn't do it. I'd tell a jerk to grab is soaking wet drawers and get the hell out. Professional staff make this a great facility. It's a safe, clean, and lively place for sure. You'll meet new folks, unique characters, and make some friends too. It's like "Cheers" with washers and dryers! I cannot say enough nice things or recommend them enough. My comforter needed a larger washer. They have plenty!!! They have the larger sized dryers as well! I went an hour after open on a Saturday. Not too terribly busy. The worker was visible and interactive with guests. Very attentive to how masks were positioned on guests. Asked to readjust if needed. Appreciated that! The units being serviced were clearly labeled as such. Not a service that is always needed for me. But I know I will be back when the time is needed. read more

I've used this business for their "fluff and fold" service several times. When I get overwhelmed and feel like I can't quite catch up on laundry it's nice to drop it off and get it back ready to put up! The value for the time it saves is worth it every time! read more

We travel from KCMO just to go to this place, attendants are always extremely helpful and kind. The entire building is always clean, and the washing machine/dryer price is unbeatable. We are able to get 5 loads done in under an hour and a half even on busy Sundays! Always love going here and will be the only play we go :) read more

Awesome place to do laundry. Clean facility, helpful employees, machines taken care of and nice amenities i.e. television, magazine racks, vending machine, small bathroom. Great dry-clean service as well. The staff really make this place special. They clean the washing machines on an hourly basis. I bought a candy bar from the vending machine and the chocolate had spoiled. I threw the candy away and they refunded my money without me even saying anything. I have never been to laundromat . I was worried about prodigal but due to my washer on blink, needed to give it a go. Toni was very kind, showed me steps by step. I had 4 washers going, different colors and temps, and dryers same. In 70's and forgot one load in washer. She noticed immediately and so everything dried same time. She kept her eye on me just in case I needed anything. Greeted new customers every-time, and have a great day to those leaving. It is very clean, bright and friendly. She is Manager I suppose, if not should be. Nice how her friendliness changed peoples day. I recommend this place. Oh and take quarters if not they have them available. Safe and Clean. The attendant on duty was great: knowledgeable, straightforward, and no nonsense. Machines were clean and efficient, cleaned our clothes well, and were triple-loaders. Entire cycle was finished in 24 minutes, which meant that using 2 machines I was able to do the equivalent of 6 loads in less than 1/2 an hour. I recommend this business. read more

During my single years, this was a nice place for me to relax and read while waiting for the laundry to go through its cycles. It's so clean, and the staff are so helpful. My wife and I came in Sunday just before 5. The manager in charge was worried we would not be done by closing time at 6. She thought briefly and told us to come in and do our wash. I have used different laundromat locations all across the country. This is by far the best one I have ever been in. Yes it is a little on the cramped side when you get over 6-7 people there but the cleanliness and the decor make up for it. This place is decorated like you would your home laundry room. Pictures and cute little saying adorn all the walls. They have rotated out most of the older machines for new high efficiency models and the prices are more than reasonable for this place. I have only used there machine personal once when our washer broke and we had to wait for a part to come in. Super clean and lots of room. Staff is AMAZING!!! Now I do use them every couple of months to take in Quilts, Comforters, Throws etc. Items that are to big to fit in our washer and dryer. The other day I dropped off a King Quilt and 3 throws and it was only $32 and I go them the next day at noon. Love them. read more

I was working in the area and do to a problem I had to stay an extra four days. Not having enough clothes found myself in need of a laundry mat. This place was the closest I found to the hotel I was staying in. I headed over about 7:30 in the morning and found myself a little out of my comfort zone, been over 30 years since I was in a laundry mat. The attendant saw the confusion on my face and came over and explained what I was doing wrong in a very sweet way. Gave me some suggestions that helped and I was able to get my clothes clean and get on my way.
