Just an update since my last review: "24/7 service" seems to refer to their phone answering service, not emergency plumbing repair. Yesterday, the connector hose for my toilet to the shutoff valve suddenly broke and caused a flood. When I called at 4:30pm, although the staff member was very polite and understanding, she stated that all the plumbers were "done for the day." An appointment was offered for the following morning. Although I appreciated the offer of a Sunday morning appointment, it was not a good solution for an emergent problem. The company should update their website and listings to clarify what exactly "24/7 service" means. That said, based on my previous experience with Len the Plumber, I will likely hire them in the future for non-emergent repairs. read more

My furnace stopped working, called them and immediately had someone dispatched out. Shawn Allgood came, and was very nice and professional. He noticed a burnt detached wire on the connector. My furnace is only 3 1/2 years old, he said that was the issue. He repaired it and the furnace came on. When we went over pricing it came to 853.00 with 16.00 service plan, and if I didn't take the service plan, I would have had a bill for over 1000. I had a $100.00 coupon which didn't help at all. I felt like this was ridiculous and extremely high! I don't think I will use them again. read more

I believe I have found a wonderful plumber and his name is Vincent Pensavalle he works for Len Plumbing in Teterboro. The drain for my bathroom since did not work as the galvanized pipe was corroded. Vince was on time, very professional, put booties on before entering my home and was very informative. He inspected everything and then gave me a price. I agreed to the price and accomplished everything. He also cleaned up after the work he completed. I would most certainly recommend Vincent and Len Plumbing if you have any issues. read more

Woke up to a backed up drain to the sewer. I asked my neighbor for a reference, and he told me to call Len the Plumber. The tech was Vincent - he came out about 1.5 hours after my call, and after about 1.5 hours of work, he brought us the great news that he was able to snake it with the machine he carries in his truck. Vincent and Len the Plumber came though for us big-time, and I thought it was reasonably priced for all the work they did. My neighbor was right again - that's why I always prefer to go with a referral. read more

I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience with the Len The Plumber Company. Last Sunday I broke the main water inlet valve in my home and was stuck without water. I thought I could never get a plumber out on a Sunday to come out to a NJ suburb. I found Len online, gave them a call and the receptionist was polite courteous and told me she could have someone out within a two to three hours. Thirty minutes later I got a call from the dispatcher confirming my appointment and then I got a text from the plumber with his name and ETA. The estimate was very reasonable and I had my water back in just a few hours after my call. I highly recommend this company especially in an emergency! read more

Hi, Few days ago I had a leak from one of the bathrooms, downstairs into the family room area. I decided to go with Len The Plumber, so I called them on a Sunday morning. Great customer service! I was surprised not only with the fact that they answered the phone but more that that with the fact that someone actually came Sunday afternoon to see what is going on. That afternoon , Jim Cerillo their technician, came to asses the situation and helped me out with the whole process. Sometimes you have to be lucky to have the right person coming. He explained to me the steps I have to follow to get the whole problem fixed and all the repairs that I will need to do after the plumbing work is completed. I give Len The Plumber a 0 out of 10. They charged us 3X the usual rate to snake a clogged bathroom sink and left with the sink cleared but the bathtub, which had been clear, clogged with gunk. To us they are Len The Bummer. read more

On the morning of October 21st 2024, the plumbing company, Len The Plumber sent to my house did not explain their policies to my wife, who knew absolutely NOTHING about calling contractors and what to expect, took the plumber at his word that if she signed the agreement, she would allow him to "unclog a shower drain." Afterall, how expensive could it be? Turns out the crook unclogged the drain in 20 minutes and then had the audacity to serve my wife with a $654.71 bill!! All he did was snake the drain with a machine and then he was finished. He said he felt bad charging her such an exorbitant and used an insulting $80.00 First Time Customer Discount. Are you serious? They took COMPLETE advantage of my wife and I called the manager immediately once I awoke. He fed me nonsense about how the plumber they sent had over 40 years of experience, blah blah blah, so now experience is supposed to reflect what contractors charge to do arbitrary, rudimentary non-technical work, that gives them the right to charge double or triple what any other plumber from any other company would charge?! This is downright fraud. The manager assured me he would send me a partial refund (at his discretion of course), but it's been a few weeks now and I haven't received anything from them. Not even an apology. He said he was going to do me a favor by sending it but again, he never followed through. Another lie. Now I want to seek a FULL refund AND an apology from them. As criminals they should be held accountable, just like I expect to be had I committed fraud and lied to my customers like they did to my wife and I. I live in a brand new house. The house is only a couple of months old. The plumber that was sent to me from len the plumber. He told me that I need it to replace some of the plumbing in my bathrooms. This guy was trying to create work for himself. All I wanted was to have 3 faucets installedl. I called another company and got the job done for $780. Len the plumber, along with the faucets and other work that he suggested, wanted to charge me over $2000. I just didn't respond to the quote when the guy left. Oh yeah, he went out to his truck and told me he would be right back. He had to figure out the quote. He sat in his truck for 35 minutes. It doesn't take that long to figure out a quote. one star because in about 10 minutes he unclogged the main drain. the rest of th time he was a salesman. talking me into spending close to six hundred dollars to having another guy come here with a camera. this guy tried to scare me with maggots and mold.
