    Pad Thai

There were about 20 in the restaurant and no wait at the door. Ambiance was good, food was timely, good portion, good price, staff was friendly. I would consider again. I added a picture of Pad Thai. I asked for medium heat and it was about right.

Lemongrass is a nice spot on the corner with affordable Thai food and sushi. I typically get the pad Thai or curry and both have super bold flavors. The service has always been hit or miss, but it is a great place to hangout with friends at UVA.

A quick dinner trip from Washington DC area to Charlottesville to try Silly's favorite restaurant food. And it did not disappoint! We ordered lemongrass chicken (because, duh!) and it was a perfect combination of well cooked chicken in a savory and spicy sauce! They recently started serving sushi which was okay; would probably recommend some other restaurant if you're looking for sushi. As fast as the ambience is concerned, it's a small with limited seating and a very young staff. you might want to consider ordering carryout because this place is usually full and parking is not free on-site. Paid parking is available on the garage above the restaurant. All in all, great food and definitely taking silly back there again!

Yummy Thai food on the Corner. Nothing exceptional, but good food and reasonable prices. Staff is friendly and responsive. I ordered the Thai fried rice with beef (mild) and was shocked by the heat. I would recommend mild or no spice is you're not too fond of chilli and/or have a low spice tolerance. I usually order mild/medium without a problem, but this place is no joke. The fried rice was yummy, aside from the heat and the beef, which was a bit chewy. I enjoyed the spring rolls. Unfortunately, I noticed the sweet and sour sauce at the bottom of the container too late. I was happily surprised with the tempura cheesecake. By the time I placed my order, the whip cream had melted and I was afraid the cheesecake would be soggy, but it actually maintained a crisp until I got home. It was the exact treat I was hoping it would be, and came with gooey fruit syrup. As for COVID guidelines, it seems like the staff is good about wearing masks and avoiding food contamination. There are allowing indoor seating currently and there weren't too many people in there at once, though I would recommend just ordering out.

I often come during the week for lunch but was lured in by the promise of Ramen on the weekends from 12-5 PM. I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen and my friend ordered the spicy miso ramen. Overall it was amazing. I'm so glad I came and I'll have to add it in to my rotation for places to eat.

Was really hoping for a great Thai food experience but unfortunately this place fell flat for me. I ordered the pad see ew noodles which is one of my favorite Thai dishes - the noodles were extremely gummy and had very little flavor. One of my friends I was with got the drunken noodles and was also disappointed. Service was friendly and prices are cheap but was left looking for more flavor.

This is one of the best Thai restaurants in Charlottesville. Very good flavor, portion, and quality for the price. Would highly recommend.

I'm a vegetarian and the language barrier was definitely a slight issue, since I didn't know how to express my likes and dislikes. It wound up being a bit of an issue for my husband too, since spicy foods aggravate his respiratory system. It was a circus show. Luckily we ordered fried tofu and that was absolutely amazingly delicious! They gave me some wasabi and I was in heaven. (I like heat...) The ramen broth was not very flavorful, but the noodles and veggies were nicely cooked. Servers were kind, even with the huge birthday party in the side room. Parking was a little sketchy. No lighting along the side of the building. Restaurant was clean, as were the loos. I think I'd try them again, if only for the tofu. Did I tell you how amazing the fried tofu was?!?!

Not overly fried and still maintained the texture and flavor of a typical oyster. The service was impeccable. Our waitress was very entertaining and helpful. She was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. She ensured that wanted for nothing. The ambiance was great. I loved the cow theme as well as the signage that stated "no well done steaks". I loved that the noodles were separate from the broth until we were ready to eat. I ordered the Bok Choy appetizer and the Momo Chicken Ramen. I was only given the Ramen, the waitress apparently forgot to put that part of the order in. The Momo Chicken Ramen was pretty unsavory. The chicken thighs inside were very bland, the soft boiled egg had more flavor than the entire bowl, and the wheat noodles they used did not balance well with any of the flavors. Subsequently, I could not continue to eat the bowl of ramen. (I did not have breakfast that morning or dinner the night before, so it wasn't a lack of appetite..) The waitress gave me a discount due to my dissatisfaction but I don't think I will be dining here in the near future. I guess there name holds true. *deep sigh*

The restaurant is super cute inside, we got sat at a cozy booth near the door and it was lovely. The only reason I subtracted one star is because our server was kind, just not attentive at all. He took our order and then disappeared. I understand it was close to closing and he was probably ready to go, but he didn't even ask if everything came out okay or if we needed anything.
