While in Davenport, we found this spot not too far in driving distance from our hotel and with the good ratings decided to give it a shot. It's situated in a pretty nice downtown-ish area and luckily didn't have too much difficulty finding parking on the street. Once in, we were quickly seated as the cafe itself is pretty spacious. Being it was subzero temps when we visited, it only made sense to grab a nice big bowl of hot soup so I ended up doing the kimchi noodle soup and a tum yum soup for the lady. I think was bothered me the most about the kimchi noodle soup was that they used rice cakes rather than noodles and it made it feel like you were swimming around the broth to find things to eat. Definitely would've preferred actual noodles than rice cakes. Also, it's got a pretty good kick to it so if you're into spicy maybe worth a try. I didn't bother to try any of the tom yum, but will say the lettuce wraps were good to start with. Not bad for it's size and price point. Overall though I'll say we left underwhelmed after seeing this spot is a solid 4.5 star rating on Yelp. It is Asian Fusion as they do serve dishes from different Asian countries, but maybe I just ordered the wrong things while we were here. This one was a miss for me. 'Til next time, cheers! read more

Ok. Good not great. Service was good as I waited about ten minutes for my takeout. While the ingredients seemed fresh, flavor was average.

"This is the best food we've had in a long time" - my husband. Also he doesn't care that much about what we eat as food is basically just fuel for him so hearing that coming from him was a big deal! TLDR: good food in a chic place. I've only been here once, but it was delicious. I ordered the waitresses recommendation. I can't remember the name of the dish but it was egg noodles, chicken, with an onion and carrot garnish in a thick rich coconutty curry. Absolutely delicious. I had a Singha beer on the side which was a perfect contrast. There are about 8 beers on tap here and possibly cocktails. I've just started trying the menu but I'm excited to experience more. Wow wow wow!!! This is by far the best Asian fusion restaurant in the quad cities. In my humble opinion with great prices and great service. I've been here twice and both times the food and drinks have been amazing, along with the service. The first time around I order this pork dish which was cooked perfectly and served with rice and some me spicy sauce but the highlight meal here for me was the Moo Krob Gra Pow.. This dish has crispy pork belly served in some famous sauce with veggies and rice. This is a must order dish. My friends order the Pad Thai to play it safe but once they tried my dish they were sold. Four stars rather than five for this laid-back Asian joint, only because of their lack of plentiful vegan options. None of the curries or soups/noodle soups (aside from Tom yum) can be made vegan, which is unusual! I did, however, appreciate the fact that they were honest about it. I'd been craving either curry or a steaming bowl of soup, but after finding out they could not be vegan I ordered the Pad Keemao at my server's suggestion and it was AMAZING. Seriously, it almost completely made up for the lack of vegan accessibility on the menu! The service was uber friendly, the space clean and inviting, and the food so good I'd return again in a heartbeat! **For the vegans out there, I read in some of the reviews hat the curries and most things on the menu could be made vegan, so please know that this isn't true! We visit Moline for work annually and everyone raves about this place, it was closed for remodeling last time so this was our first time in. I was expecting the sun and moon based on reviews so maybe my expectations were too high. The place is cute, lively music and very attentive service. All these rave reviews about the food, which is what you can expect at any decent Thai place... maybe I'm spoiled from all the great Thai cooking where I live, and we have it often. Went here the other day with decent expectations since all the yelp fans pretty much like this place. And after ordering and tasting our dishes, those expectations were met. Here's a few things I tasted: - Thai Omelet: I had a Thai Omelet in another town before and loved it, and wanted to try it here. Different from an American omelet, this is deep fried, I believe, crunchy, and when paired with some rice, has a great taste to it. They serve it with tomatoes, cucumbers, and a sweet sauce, which I didn't have before, but it was a good combination to match the oily fried egg. I got this with shrimp, so there were little pieces of shrimp in the omelet. Just as good as I expected it to be. - Pad Thai: I tried some of the pad thai and it was a lot sweeter than I like. I've had a lot of pad thai before, and this was one of the sweetest that I've ever had. It kind of had a strong ketchup like flavor to it. I probably won't order this here next time I come - Pad Keemao: A pretty decent, safe dish. In my opinion. Noodles with assorted vegetables in it - Gra pow: the gra pow was good (with a fried egg in it .. and not just a normal American fried egg. This was kind of weird. It looked similar to my omelet. Maybe it was a deep fried egg???. Anyhow, it was good. :)). However, this dish has a LOT of basil in it. The basil taste takes over the whole dish. So if you don't like basil, definitely don't get this. - Pumpkin Curry: Had a bite of this, and it was delicious! May try this next time. read more

Crispy Duck: Breaded and fried pieces of duck and comes with veggies (broccoli, carrots, bell peppers). This was very good, tasty and well...crispy. Watch out for bones. 4/5 Bento Box (served from 11am-3pm): For $10 you get soup, Vietnamese spring roll, Korean slaw, mixed fruit and your choice of meat. You can get shrimp for an additional $1. You can get pineapple fried rice, gra pow rice, pad woon sen, pad keemao, LemonGrass Grill chicken or steak OR pad thai. I tried the LemonGrass Grill steak and it tastes like a cross between teriyaki and Vietnamese grilled beef. Soup of the day was good - had cilantro, lemongrass and small pieces of chicken. The spring roll was delicious with the peanut sauce. The Korean slaw was like kimchee but not quite fermented for 100 years. So to start off their pho is delicious, not their special but they have it. Big bowl with both steak and meatball in it. If your a pho fan your good to get some here. Their entree dishes and appetizers are amazing. The eggrolls and rangoon are served with the best dipping sauces, these are some of the best that I have had. The entrees all have a unique flavor to them which only can be found in quality places, not the store bought sauce here. I do suggest trying something new each time, you will have favorites but everything is worthy on this menu. Well run place with a great ambiance inside, it has all the features of a nice date night place with a good price that won't bust your pocket.
