Ok. Good not great. Service was good as I waited about ten minutes for my takeout. While the ingredients seemed fresh, flavor was average.

OK. This was just okay but I concede I'm spoiled when it comes to Asian food given (1) I'm Asian and (2) I travel quite a bit and spoiled by Asian eats everywhere. My college self would have enjoyed it more since there weren't a lot of Asian eateries. (1) Server was nice but messed up MY order and I waited around an extra 15 minutes to make me the wor wonton soup. When it finally came out, it wasn't what i expected. Wontons were very DRY ground white chicken. Would have been better if they were pork. Noodles were meh. Broth was bland. The server did NOTHING in terms of the inconvenience and basically blamed it on me ordering the "wrong thing". She insisted I would have liked something spicy. When I told her I'm not a fan of spicy, she looked at me like I had two heads. (2) Hubby did enjoy the very saucy yakisoba noodles with tofu. He ate the whole bowl. (3) We both enjoyed the crab rangoons and the orange dipping sauce. (4) Good list of alcohol choices. Hubby enjoyed his cherry bomb IPA from a local IOWA brewery. (5) No desserts. None. No mango sticky rice. Nothing. WTH??? I don't think we'll be stopping by any time soon. read more

Based on other's reviews, we got off 1-80 on our way from Chicago to Omaha to try Lemongrass Cafe for lunch, and we are so glad we did! From the buddha rolls to my poor man's noodles, every bite was delicious. My fellow diners enjoyed their mains, too. TIP: if a dish says it's spicy/hot on the menu, believe it!!! While in Davenport, we found this spot not too far in driving distance from our hotel and with the good ratings decided to give it a shot. It's situated in a pretty nice downtown-ish area and luckily didn't have too much difficulty finding parking on the street. Once in, we were quickly seated as the cafe itself is pretty spacious. Being it was subzero temps when we visited, it only made sense to grab a nice big bowl of hot soup so I ended up doing the kimchi noodle soup and a tum yum soup for the lady. I think was bothered me the most about the kimchi noodle soup was that they used rice cakes rather than noodles and it made it feel like you were swimming around the broth to find things to eat. Definitely would've preferred actual noodles than rice cakes. Also, it's got a pretty good kick to it so if you're into spicy maybe worth a try. I didn't bother to try any of the tom yum, but will say the lettuce wraps were good to start with. Not bad for it's size and price point. Overall though I'll say we left underwhelmed after seeing this spot is a solid 4.5 star rating on Yelp. It is Asian Fusion as they do serve dishes from different Asian countries, but maybe I just ordered the wrong things while we were here. This one was a miss for me. 'Til next time, cheers! read more

We visit Moline for work annually and everyone raves about this place, it was closed for remodeling last time so this was our first time in. I was expecting the sun and moon based on reviews so maybe my expectations were too high. The place is cute, lively music and very attentive service. All these rave reviews about the food, which is what you can expect at any decent Thai place... maybe I'm spoiled from all the great Thai cooking where I live, and we have it often. TLDR: good food in a chic place. I've only been here once, but it was delicious. I ordered the waitresses recommendation. I can't remember the name of the dish but it was egg noodles, chicken, with an onion and carrot garnish in a thick rich coconutty curry. Absolutely delicious. I had a Singha beer on the side which was a perfect contrast. There are about 8 beers on tap here and possibly cocktails. I've just started trying the menu but I'm excited to experience more. Wow wow wow!!! This is by far the best Asian fusion restaurant in the quad cities. In my humble opinion with great prices and great service. I've been here twice and both times the food and drinks have been amazing, along with the service. The first time around I order this pork dish which was cooked perfectly and served with rice and some me spicy sauce but the highlight meal here for me was the Moo Krob Gra Pow.. This dish has crispy pork belly served in some famous sauce with veggies and rice. This is a must order dish. My friends order the Pad Thai to play it safe but once they tried my dish they were sold. Four stars rather than five for this laid-back Asian joint, only because of their lack of plentiful vegan options. None of the curries or soups/noodle soups (aside from Tom yum) can be made vegan, which is unusual! I did, however, appreciate the fact that they were honest about it. I'd been craving either curry or a steaming bowl of soup, but after finding out they could not be vegan I ordered the Pad Keemao at my server's suggestion and it was AMAZING. Seriously, it almost completely made up for the lack of vegan accessibility on the menu! I added chicken to the order all of the chicken was evenly coated with sauce. Not very spicy and I forgot to ask for some chili paste to bring it up a notch.
