Chicken Pad see moo (drunken noodles)
    Kinjal P.

So a couple of classmates and I came here for Lunch and made the drive to Moline. It was definitely worth the drive! I got the pad sew moo (drunken noodles) along with the soup, salad, spring roll, and crab Rangoon that was $3.00 more with the lunch special. Our food came out in a cute tray with everything on it in separate bowls. The salad dressing was really good! Nothing like I've had at other Thai restaurants. The soup was good too but nothing special...just a few vegetables in broth but still flavorful. The drunken noodles (w/chicken) was AMAZING!!! It had a nice kick to it and sooo flavorful, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. The spring roll and crab Rangoon was also delicious. My friends got the basil fried rice and pad Thai and they both loved it as well. At the end I got a Thai tea and as always you can never go wrong with a Thai tea. Would definitely recommend! The staff was also very nice!

Amazing food, amazing people running the business. Try everything you won't regret it. Just a few tables but cozy.

Pad Thai with tofu was amazing and the portion was outrageous. I'll be enjoying this meal several times.

Mmm, mmm, lunch at Thai Flavors on 1st St. In Moline. Their lunch specials include soup, salad, crab Rangoon, egg roll and your choice of entree. I LOVE LUNCH! Mike ate unbreaded sweet and sour pork and I had pad kee mao w/ chicken. ''Twas delicious! Plenty of food, but not so much as to be wasteful... (Means I ate it all!) They also present a wonderful range of currys. Please don't think you won't like curry; there is something for everyone.

Best Thai food in the Quad Cities. I had the Pineapple Fried Rice and it was so delicious! Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal and the service was great. Baby Sandy is the cutest and gives the best high fives. 10/10 would recommend. :)

I can only say that having served in Vietnam (Army), this is some of the finest Vietnamese food…read moreI've tasted outside of Vietnam. I'm not from the Midwest, and have eaten Vietnamese all over the US. The owner is always is pleasant and greets his guests as if they're family. If you're in a hurry, Xin Loi (sorry about that). When my daugher, who lives in another state visits here, we ALWAYS have dinner at Le Makong. Even my wife who isn't that big on Asian food enjoys dining here. The ambiance is reminds me of a Vietnamese restraurant where I would sometimes eat at in Saigon. Very nice dining experieance.

Disappointing experience for the price. The price point for the entrées are $20-$28 but the value…read moreof the amount of food (and flavors) that were given is more like $15-$18. For example, I ordered the hot & spicy chicken which came with a one bowl of rice and about a medium size bowl of topping. the spring rolls for $6 was only two very thin fried eggrolls. Also there's an additional convenience fee of 4% because I used my debit card. The food flavors are average at best. Quantity is low for what you had to pay for it. Vietnamese flavors are missing fish sauce and more developed spicy flavors. The atmosphere is clean. The service is OK not talkative. not super friendly yet responsive. No one needed to come fill water so after bringing the food there really wasn't much attention on our table of six. they were able to give us individual checks which we appreciated. It's a white tablecloth dining experience so you're expecting a little bit of a higher class the food, service and overall dining experience which is not prevalent the evening we came. Parking is going to be on the street or around the corner of the parking lot however I don't think it'd be too difficult in downtown Moline unless there's a big conference going on. I'd rather have pizza at Tony's down the road. Note my rating system: 1 Star: I wouldn't recommend 2 Stars: Didn't hit my standards 3 Stars: Average (nothing special) 4 Stars: Above Average. Would recommend. Still looking for the 5 Star. 5 Stars: Top of their game. Great food. Great service. Would recommend and plan on returning.
