After seeing a martial arts place right next to the Noodle House, we knew the food was going to be amazing! They start off by giving a few side dishes. Then, you get to order, we also tried the spring rolls which came out hot and delicious. My partner got the Bibimbap and it was the best bibimbap he's ever had, better than his mom's! Went there with my daughter for her birthday. They started us out with a variety of different kimchi bowls. All were pretty good. My daughter got some California rolls sushi. Along with some dim sum and some crab ragoon. I had a korean dish with meat ,cucumbers, noodles with like a sweet barbecue sauce . And at the end they came out with some mini sugar donuts . I am from Seattle and visiting my Dad, who loves to try new things. We saw this place from the road and figured we'd give it a try. My Dad is nearly 95, has a hearing issue and is in a wheelchair for most jaunts. As we rolled up the woman working there saw us and ran to get the door, welcoming us as she did so, friendly as could be. She helped us find a spot without making my dad uncomfortable, which was so appreciated. Then we worked our way through the large menu while we drank their Citron Tea (highly recommended) and ate the complementary kimchi (that was a surprise - 6 different kinds!). We over ordered, as the servings were far more generous then we expected, and enjoyed a smattering of fresh rolls, sushi, noodles and dim sum. Yes, it was a ridiculous amount of food but delicious. To say we enjoyed the food does not do it justice - we actually returned the next day for lunch having enjoyed dinner so much. We were greeted as though we were regulars and, again, had a great meal. I am from Korea and looking for authentic Korean food in the area. When I found this restaurant on Yelp, I was so excited to try their foods. And it was a huge failure. I ordered korean spicy noodle(which is known Jjampong) and my husband ordered Jajangmyeon and both weren't close to the Korean food at all. Their side dish was ok but it is not authentic. In overall it is more like Americanized food or fusion asian food.. (The chef was called chef Fu) I left most of my food and felt still hungry so got a burger on the way back home. Went with a friend of mine from church a few Fridays ago. Full disclosure, while considered 'neurodivergent', my friend is sweet, smart, polite, and inquisitive. She's a breath of fresh air. She wanted to try Noodle House. I'd gotten off of work early because I was under the weather, in sweats, and didn't want to cook. The first waitress was kind and welcoming. There were samplers provided ahead of the meal which was cool. The waitress explained the samplers to my friend with extreme patience while cognizant of those trickling in after us. The other lady was not nearly as nice and was noticeably hospitable to those around us who appeared to have been fresh off of work. She didn't want to be bothered with requests for standard utensils from me or my friend. I'm guessing that, had I been dressed differently and/or with my own coworkers, my experience with her would have been different. Had the food been divine, I might've overlooked the behavior of the older woman. Simply by being consumed by quality. Maybe. But it wasn't. Won't be back or suggesting to colleagues. TLDR? We ate for the second time at the Noodle House. Wow! The four of us at four very different meals, Korean and Chinese. I had tempura chicken the first time and my wife had that it was excellent. This time I had the Korean Beef Stew. It had such a great flavor. Slightly sweeter, than an American stew, but such a complex flavor. They have a huge menu that was made by a family. I've been staring at that vague Noodle House sign for months, eagerly waiting for it to open. I knew in my heart of hearts that it was going to be fabulous, and I was not disappointed. Noodle House ROCKS! I started with a pot of wolfberry chrysanthemum tea, which tasted good and soothed my allergy-addled sore throat. My boyfriend said his Thai iced tea was oversweet but if sugar isn't your thing, unsweetened Thai iced tea is also on the menu, along with all of the beverages typically offered at all restaurants. The dim sum appetizer was honestly the weakest part of our meal. The steamed buns were overcooked, making them too bready, and the barbecue pork filling was a little bland. The third bun in the appetizer is sweet, with what we guessed is a plum, date, or fig filling. It was very pretty looking, but didn't taste great. My boyfriend ordered mei fun noodles. It was delicious and absolutely loaded with shrimp! My dandan chicken was phenomenal. It looks a lot like regular spaghetti topped with ground meat, but the flavor was unique and fantastic and I loved it. Please do yourself a favor and visit Noodle House ASAP! Food was very good. However what can be said when a owner or manager treats an employee like garbage? We had a very good and attentive young lady as our waitress. She informed us that it was only her third day on the job. With that being said she got the job done. We ordered lots of great food and our party of five had an 85 dollar tab. Before we left we handed our server a 16 dollar tip, the owner/manager promptly took the tip away from her and told her that it was not hers. That it belonged to the restaurant. Not cool. The meat had a weird spongy texture, the spinach was mixed with slimy lettuce, no carrots to be found in it, and found some bad sprouts in there too..sauce was strange as well. My daughter and son-in-law and I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. The waiter was very pleasant and gave suggestions. We we ordered two appetizers which were both delicious. We ordered crab rangoon and spring rolls. My son-in-law ordered a spicy chicken dish which he was happy with and my daughter and I both order noodle dishes which we're both very good my daughter is a vegetarian and hers was very flavorful. Delicious! The Pad Thai Shrimp was amazing! The potion was huge and there were so many shrimp I filled a to-go container full with them. My 10 year old son wanted to try one bite and I couldn't get him to stop eating off my plate! The customers there I overheard comment how much they liked their food as well. I too have been driving by that silly sign for months but last night I needed a quick snack and decided to stop. My son and I shared the Korean Style Mei Fun. It was delicious! The noodles were perfect, the chicken as great and the vegetables were crunchy and full of flavor. My son also ordered a Dim Sum appetizer and he loved all three of them. I've been thinking of the place all day and decided to get it again for me and my fiancé. Because it was so good I ordered the Korean Style Mei Fun again but this time I ordered crab Rangoon to go with it. She loved everything as well. By the way, the family who owns it are great. The son who goes to the university of Iowa during the week and works there on weekends was accommodating and helpful and the mother came out and took the time to chat and thank me for coming back. Two friends and I visited today! The restaurant is very cozy and makes you feel at home. The side dishes were really good and the kimchi was amazing. We all tried each other's food. I got the spicy cold noodles, which hit the spot on this hot day. One of my friends got the chicken tteokbokki which was amazing! The rice cakes were delicious, though I do wish the sauce was a little more spicy. My other friend got the jajangmyeon and literally licked the plate clean!
