Such a gem in Davenport, Iowa. We love stopping here when we are passing through 80 east. Food is quick and tasteful. Asian options and unique appetizers. Various items such as katsu, sushi burritos, dumplings, fries, crab rangoons are a few things on the menu. Service is quick and efficient. Waitstaff take your order via tablet. There are a few tables that sent 2 to 4 people throughout restaurant. The decor is Dragonball Z theme.

    Sushi burger. It was delicious.

My first time here. Lunch with son and daughter. Was quite surprised. Not your typical eatery was was absolutely worth it. We had blueberry Rangoon's, dumplings, poke bowl and ramen soup. What fried bananas for dessert. Highly recommend this place.

A nice point of view from where we were eating, I censored faces.

Absolutely amazing food, I got the chicken ramen with tofu cilantro and green onion, it was the best ramen I've ever had ever. And the service is incredibly friendly, amazing, quick, and they really tie the whole place together. And I love the dragon ball z decor it's so cute and fun. I love this place highly recommend

We loved Eddie's! We stopped in from out of town for a bite around 7 PM and the restaurant was bustling. Even with that being the case, we were quickly seated and tended to. Staff was friendly and the food arrived quickly. We ordered and shared just about everything we could: a pork bao bun, two sushi rolls, soup dumplings, Katsu chicken, and a bowl of Ramen. Everything was absolutely outstanding and would gladly visit again when back in town.

We came here as a second option and it should've been our first. They've converted a house into a restaurant. I appreciate the wheelchair accessible walk up to the house. We came in around 7:30 and there was seating available. They had so many options and everything was delicious. If you have family in town this is the place to take them. The service was quick and if you have any questions they helped point you in the right direction.

TERRIFIC! Have been itching for sushi, and they itched that scratch! Got sushi rolls which were delicious in all ways. Raman was delish with full flavor down to the broth. Tea was yummy. Their boba seemed authentic, but it was more or less a slush which was interesting. Still relishing and delish!! Now can we talk about the decor?! Just the environment of the place was absolutely lovely. The dragon-ball-Z theme went hard core, but they didn't overdo it. At first it seemed like a house, then you walked right into a whole new world. Workers all SO NICE! Wait was just a little long, but the workers recognized it and apologized. To be fair it was busy. Will be coming back 100%

When planning our tip to Davenport, we were looking for anything unique or different that we could try out. I discovered sushi corndogs on Pinterest, and was immediately interested!! Eddy's is a great place to get your favorite Asian eats. They have bubble tea in a large variety of flavors, and all kinds of different things to try on the menu. And if you're a weeb, you'll probably love how this place is completely decked out in Dragonball Z decor! We started out with the sushi fries, which were amazing!! I'm so sad that we don't have something like this back at home! I tried out the sushi corndog and loved it also, as it was covered all over in crunchy bits! My fiance ordered the ramen, which looked so good too... if only I was able to try everything at once!! If you're coming to Davenport, you need to go to Eddy's. It's such a fun spot with really great food!

This little place is a bit deceptive, a house turned restraunt it had a cute feel to it with anime music playing inside. The inner weeb in me loved it. Having visited from out of town I was told this little place was quite good. I got the crystal shrimp dumplings which were amazing! Better than most dim sum places I've gotten from the Chicago area! Who knew! Wish I had gotten 2 more orders of this instead. As for the pokebowl it was good... not sure if id pay the amount for the portion I got, maybe it was an off day as all the pics I saw the bowl amount were at least double in size. Where as mine just felt severely lacking. Spicy tuna and eel as the protein, I got edamame, cabbage, cucumber and jalapeño, all fresh tasting ingredients. The only complaint on this would be the tempura crumbs on top that I was not a fan off. Very friendly guy who rang me up, he looked like he might've been the owner or manager and was the only face I saw in the front. Nice spread out tables cause you know... covid regulations. All in all, it was a nice little stop to hold me over while I continued my drive.

I haven't found anything that I dislike at Eddy's snack bar. My favorite item would be Sushi fries.

It located across from the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds on W. Lotus Street. They have a mixed menu of American and Thai dishes they offer. The Gypsy Highway's vibe is a cross between nostalgic late 70's, early 80's biker bar, live indoor/outdoor music venue, while being a full service restaurant and bar. They also have a small arcade in the back a few what look to be video poker or slot machines by the bar, 3 very large LED displays strategically placed around the bar and a massive projection screen TV on the indoor stage when nobody's playing. Sorry I didn't get to look outside at the wood fenced in area, where the wooden outdoor stage is. There is lots of seating and they even have dance nights, local bands perform regularly, and other events. Like when I went there was Trivia Night. This place has been a long time local scene in the West End of Davenport, IA for decades. Couple of the downsides about the atmosphere is the noise. It's Loud. For off hours and a Trivia Night, but not loud enough that you can't hear the person talking across a large round table ment for a party of 8-10 people. The amount of flashing lights in the place. If you have any issues with flashing lights you might not want to visit. There is not a single sight line place inside that does have some sort of constantly flashing light. Even lights that would have been of at any other venue or palace that host bands at their establishments wouldn't run strong stage color ambient lights on, especially those sitting behind a massive screen. Anyone sitting in the back and looking towards the stage (even though those seats not that many but unlucky) are in for a painful night out, if not there for a band. The food is 50/50 depending on what you get. Presentation wise I would give it 80 to 100%. I was with my family and got to try 4/5 dishes. They I had the Yellow Curry w/ Shrimp. I have to say it was really good. It was sweet and savory the Jasmine rice was delicious with it. My only complaint with the dish was it should have been served in served in a bowl of some kind and w/ some Naan bread to help clean the bowl at the end. Serving on a plate made the dish hard to eat. Next up Chicken Tinders and an order of Onion Rings. This should be avoided at all costs!! They look great, but have absolutely zero flavor and taste. That's hard to do when the batter is supposed to be Bear Batter. Same with the french fries. Next is a Cheese Burger w/ (+) Bacon and Onion Rings instead of the Fries. Well the burger was well made and delicious. The Bacon was thick crisp and 4 slices which was good. The replaced Onion Rings well that part gets worse. The count was a measly 5 and not even large ones at that! Last one I got to try was the blackens grilled fish. It was a fillet of haddock covered with some sort of white gravy served with a few pieces of zucchini and a couple of red potatoes halved. I didn't get to try the veg. The fish I did. By itself it was pretty good, but with the gravy it was not noticeably, not as good to almost being tasteless. The gravy overwhelms the fish and doesn't complement, nor enhance the flavor. The waitress we had was nice and answered our questions promptly. She did check in with us from time to time. Overall she gets a 9/10. Hope y'all like my review and read next time. Sorry no pics this time forgot my phone.

It smelled like spoiled meat to me but none of us discussed that later so idk what their guesses might be. We went there to have my grown daughter's birthday dinner but they wouldn't let us come in with an ice cream cake. They were so incredibly rude about it that I felt bad for my daughter, since she chose the place. She and the rest of our party turned around and walked right back out but I asked to see the manager bc I wanted her to know what had happened. She was nearby and saw the whole thing, she just approached and "cake is food- no outside food!" We won't be back. I understand that many restaurants have a "no outside food" policy but that doesn't usually apply to birthday cakes. Even so, they could have been decent about it, they were as rude as they could possibly be, truly. We've done this a thousand times at tons of places and literally no one has ever stopped us or been anything less than welcoming. My son hadn't arrived yet so when we met up at the second restaurant, he told us that he'd heard they're rude at that one. We took our ice cream cake (from Orange Leaf) to Red Lobster, where they welcomed us and even offered clean plates, forks, and a big knife to cut it after our dinner! I'm just glad Teriyaki Madness didn't get our money before they decided to treat us so rudely.
