The food is good... BUT, the service . We waited for our take out for about 45 minutes past the time they said it would be ready. The waiting room was full of other customers waiting for long periods of time. When a fellow customer asked the cashier how long his order had because he had been waiting an hour, the cashier spit back at him with a rude verbal attack! Food was decent and the staff friendly. What's wierd is they didn't have baby chairs or booster seats ... probably since they just openend i hope. We had to bring in the stroller and park it in a spot and make a makeshift table for our son to eat on. We'll be back though ... please get seating for your tiny customers. read more

We have enjoyed the West St Annapolis restaurant many times. Our Arnold/Cape St Claire neighborhood was an empty nest of disgusting, sub-par Chinese food; low quality, high price and totally pathetic, processed fried and unhealthy junk food......So entering into this essentially empty bastion of quality Asian/Thai food comes Lemongrass to fill in the void. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! It's got clean, quality, Thai food. Period. The ambiance is not as warm and fuzzy as some other places but the bar is cool, the food is authentic, what it's supposed to be, and the service is friendly. Let me start out by saying Me and my husband love Lemongrass! Unfortunately when we have ordered take out the last two times, the portion sizes have gotten smaller. If you plan on giving the take out orders smaller portions then the price should come down some. If you want good Thai this is a good place to go but just dine in if you wanna get a better portion size for the price. read more

Meh. I think I still prefer the West St.-Annapolis location. I came here to get food to go. Staff was friendly. The restaurant seemed a little more spaced out than the West Street location but it's still pretty small. This location has a much bigger bar. I ended up ordering the ginger perfect with chicken and it just didn't taste the same to me. I don't think I even finished my food. I'm not saying I wouldn't go back but I'm not in a rush to return to this particular location. read more

As someone in our group said,"this is Thai food for people that want to brag they eat Thai food" My experience is that Thai food typically is a mix of sour, sweet, salty, bitter, and spicy. Food is great but their takeout process is the worst. they cannot accurately predict their pickup times to save their lives. Order which are supposed to be be ready in 30 minutes routinely take over an hour, leaving us sitting in the parking lot for 30-60 minutes after our order is supposed to be ready. Every time. Well, had high hopes as I moved to the area and this was my first time getting take out from here. . . . . . Definitely disappointing - 1) instead of taking 30 minutes, it took 50 minutes, 2) they forgot an entire main course - even though I asked a few times, 3) all the meat was cooked WAY, WAY before the meal . . .tuff and dry (chicken and shrimp), 4) worst chicken satay I have ever had, and 5) pricing was high. Absolutely love the food here and am a frequent customer in Arnold. However, was surprised this weekend to see when I opened my takeout at home that they changed their containers and serving sizes. MUCH less food in entree containers that were 1/2 the size as they were in the past. I usually barely finish about 1/2 of my pad thai - even when I'm starving - and have a full plate of leftovers. Wonderful food yet again!! And wonderful staff. Kids were a bit picky so they will be left home next time but the kids menu was great!! All made for them and not spicy. We had an issue with a smokey tasting dish and they took it back and made a fresh one. Thia tea was amazing! We will be back if we can get in!!! read more

Outstanding place tucked in a small strip mall. Carry out and curb side pick up. Was told that order would be ready in 20 minutes and it was. Perfect timing. Ordered Panang curry, drunken noodles and Ka Pow Fried rice... all were extremely delicious and the temperature ratings were perfect. The food is very good, as is Lemongrass at their 2 Annapolis locations. Wide selection and properly spicy on the right dishes. Service had been surprisingly poor compared to their other locations. First introduced to the Baltimore location it was one of our favorites! Huge fans of Thai food and LG was awesome. Through the years and new locations in Annapolis area, we see a huge decline. Worst Thai food I have had in a while. Panang curry was a luke warm watery mix of uninspiring mixed vegetables and meat. Phad Thai was mediocre, seemed extremely salty. Had to sit and watch our waitress feeding herself at the bar for ten minutes while waiting for our check, very unprofessional with no obvious management supervision. read more

Chesapeake pad Thai is to die for. Had to wait for a table and they let us sit at the bar. Got seated next to the door so every time someone came in or left we were hit with cold air. Eventually ended up eating with our coats on. Make a reservation it gets very busy. read more

No delivery, and their portions are very small. The staff was very nice. I just don't see much value in this thai restaurant.
