Bad experience and would not go back. Here is why…read more I had scheduled a time/day to get my hair cut. The stylist took 6 hours (no exaggeration) to do my hair. It got to the point where it was 10:00 p.m. and I just had to leave. I couldn't take it any more. She didn't even finish my hair all the way and she made me very uncomfortable. It wasn't until the next day that I realized just how bad my hair really was. My roots were not even touched and my hair was very uneven. To say that this was the worst haircut/dye that I have ever received, is an understatement. So naturally, I decided to go back to the salon and just ask them to fix it. I didn't make a big deal about it at all and I would have been fine just getting it fixed. Upon entering the salon the following day, I spoke with Jeff and explained my situation and how I requested to have my hair fixed. Jeff then proceeded to tell me that I would have to pay for another appointment...I politely explained the situation again and requested that my roots just be touched up and my uneven hair trimmed. Jeff stated he would have to speak to his supervisor (maybe, the owner?), Melissa and I would be contacted. Was I contacted? Nope. In fact multiple times I had to follow up and send multiple pictures to finally get another appointment scheduled. Luckily, when I came in and got my hair fixed, a new stylist fixed my hair and I was pleasantly relieved. It should be reiterated that no one including the supervisor, Melissa, the owner, or anyone ever contacted me to apologize including when I came back in person to get my hair fixed. In addition, I should also point out that whenever a stylist leaves the salon, the company sends out emails, and at times will explain why the stylist left. For one particular stylist, the email stated, "XXXX has left Willow Sage Salon on unfortunate terms. Her conduct has not been in line with our values, and we cannot continue working with her." In my opinion, this is unprofessional and these type of things should be kept in house. There is no need to air dirty laundry out to the public. By doing this, it doesn't reflect positively on the business and raises questions about the company and business practices. To summarize, all of this could have been easily avoided and I wouldn't have posted a review if better customer service would have been implemented. The owner or supervisor-anyone should have contacted me, apologized and resolved the problem immediately by booking another appointment. I shouldn't have had to continue to follow up multiple times etc. I will never go back. Do not recommend.

I had just received the worst haircut of my life after going to a Procuts last minute. It was so bad. I actually went back and rather than attempt to fix it, they refunded my money. Was definitely in the market for a decent, reasonably priced place to get my hair cut. My luck was about to change. That evening I was standing in line at the store and a very nice lady named Megan was in line behind me. She didn't say it but I think she must have noticed that bad haircut in 2 seconds, and she kindly suggested that I come by her salon the next day. So glad I took her up on her offer, she was there waiting and really took a lot time and care repairing the damage and making me feel taken care of. Absolutely the best haircut I've had in a very long time and a literally a steal at 12 dollars. Definitely my new place to get my hair cut. Thank you Megan! read more

This was my first time coming to this salon and everyone here is amazing and so kind. the night before coming here I tried to strip my blue hair using a color remover and it turned out 4 shades of different colors! from orange, yellow, brown and NEON GREEN HAIR!!! it was terrifying. I didn't even set an appointment I just walked in the next morning and they started with me immediately. After a long process they managed to get my hair back to solid brown the way it naturally was with very little to no damage and with a great price! I have a child that refuses to take care of his hair (literally, in the past month used about as much shampoo and should have in 2 days, since he claims to "forget" to use shampoo, despite being 14)... So, the solution we do, is get his head shaved at about a 2 (not a 1 or completely shaved) and warm him about it that if he doesn't wash his hair properly, we'll have it shaved again. Usually there is no issue, especially when I explain why, and they usually have a talk with him about taking care of his hair, etc. But the lady today tried to argue with me and wanted to use a 2 on the sides and a 6 on top, despite me saying what we needed done Then when he was in the chair, she tried to convince him to let her use a 6, as well, but he just said "just use a 2". Then she asked him if he wanted a shampoo... Not the parent that's paying for it (I might have said "yes" but didn't get asked), which added a couple of dollars to the total. Before he started refusing to wash it properly, I would even tell him it's his call since it's his hair, what he wanted, when he was very young, and only changed that because got tired of his hair always being knotted up and overall looking homeless
