They are always super helpful, not pretentious, and easy to talk to and ask questions of. In dealing with gun shops in the past, it's easy to find some very "interesting " folks that look down their nose at you. At SS Gun and Range everyone I've ever interacted with have been helpful, supportive and made what potentially could be a challenging interaction a pleasant, informative and smooth process. If you are in need of a firearm for hunting, range use or personal/home protection, there is not a better place to shop, learn and purchase from than the folks at Sandy Springs Gun & Range. Nerve racking in a sense, because you don't want to look like an idiot. Here are some pointers: - make sure you have safety glasses - make sure you have ear protection - you can rent or buy these items there - they have targets for purchase - you can get a membership there for $30/month and gain access to their lounge and utilize other weapons to practice with (plus eye and ear protection is included when you go) - they sell ammo The lanes were super clean and a space underneath the shooting area to store your bag. They have multiple indoor ranges, which I LOVED. This way if only 2-3 people are in there, you don't have to be in the same range. The two guys running it all up front were super cool. Easy small talk. I'll be back again, and possibly with my girlfriend and her damn pink 9mm gun (ok, she doesn't have one yet but that's what we plan to get her for protection). Women and accessorizing . Would recommend. Clean place!
