Like any craft, shooting takes repetition -- and that means going through a lot of targets. Most ranges sell targets with a 2-3 inch gap between the edge of the paper and the printed target image. That's normal. But this range sells targets that clip within an inch of the scoring line on their holders. Then they turn around and charge you $1 for every hole that goes past that line. It's a setup, and it feels like a scam. No other range I've been to does this. And unlike most ranges that charge you upfront, Johns Creek Indoor Range waits until the end so they can nickel‑and‑dime you for every "over‑the‑line" hole. It's a tactic that takes advantage of new shooters and anyone who doesn't know their system. A range should help people learn -- not create a trap to squeeze extra money out of customers. This practice is misleading, unfair, and something no shooter should have to deal with.

They will turn the building into a new state of the art E911 call center and keep the shooting ranges for the local and surrounding Law Enforcement Officers. They will be open maybe another month or so. But that aside I thought it right to recognize SharpShooters as one of the top notch shooting ranges in the area. A very clean and organized front part of the business with pleasant and very knowledgeable counter representatives. Including ammunition, targets and even a gun smith shop. Training of all types available with actual class rooms. The store has many ranges available with multiple layers of security to get in and out including video, viewing windows and range master to insure proper usage of firearms. All is very impressive. I even made a few friends with some of the LEO's. One even was admiring my firearm so I let him test it. I thought my fireman was pulling a little to the left but after seeing his target with the bullseye blown out I knew it wasn't the firearm. lol. The lighting is different than I'm use to and I was just starting to get in the groove. lol. Oh well. I'm disappointed in the closing but happy for the City of Roswell and all the LEO's that will be able to use the facility.
