However I do beg you to read this; I normally do not write reviews but I do not want this happen to any other bride. I worked with Dahlia for my wedding hair. Between my trial (6 months before the wedding) and the wedding, I cut my hair shorter and wanted to try a new style out. I initially reached out asking about extensions and she did not get back to me for weeks. At that point, it was too late so I booked another hair trial in my area (I do not live locally) to try out shorter styles and then sent the pictures to Dahlia of what I liked. Her responses were extremely cold "I cannot guarantee I can replicate this exactly. I can something last min and see if I can achieve something similar". She then suggested that I book another trial the day before the wedding (the only time that worked for both of us) which was obviously not feasible. I felt tremendous anxiety about my hair leading up to the wedding. On the day of the wedding, she arrived 30 minutes late. She then confronted me, asking me if I didn't like the trial. I decided to have the other stylist Cierra do my hair and she was amazing! Dahlia then told me that she was extremely disappointed and really wanted to do my hair on my wedding day. I consider this to be manipulative behavior. Overall, I am not trying to say that Dahlia is evil or that everyone will have a bad experience with her. I am just saying that if you upset her at all, she does not possess the emotional regulation skills to put this aside and be supportive to a bride on her wedding day. To be honest, this experience was the worst part of my wedding day. If you do book with Clementine's, just make sure to request that Dahlia not be there. I had a great experience with the coordinator Cait and Cierra.

We went back in for another TWO hours to make it warmer, but by that time my hair was fried, and now I have a bald spot I didn't have before. He offered to fix it in another few weeks after my hair has had time to settle, but I'm never letting anyone there touch my head again. I'm too nice of a person and still managed to crack a semi smile when it was finally done, but now I'm left with tears and silent screaming to hold back my utter horror at what they left me with. UPDATE: Went to a highly reviewed salon a few days after my visit with Vo where I had two pros look at my hair to assess the situation (and probability of me somehow getting what I originally wanted), and both agreed that what Vo did to my hair was "pretty bad" and unprofessional. All I heard, as they were slowly combing and lifting through my hair, were soft whispers and gasps of horror with the occasional, "Girl look at this... omg..." After hearing what they could do to fix the mess Vo left me with (weeks of painstaking piece meal work and god-knows-how-much-money) I ultimately decided to have them take me back to my original brown so I could start over from square one. THAT'S how bad it was. All that time and money just to go back to brown and have my hair be short and thin instead of long and thick. God I could scream. I appreciate you offering to fix the mess you left me with, Thanh, but no thanks. I would much rather you spend the time you would've taken on fixing my hair to spending it on some coloring courses instead. Just because you own a salon doesn't mean you've mastered the art of hair. The other guy whom you trained on the fly with me has a lot of learning to do also.
