Needed to replace the circulation pump on my spa. It's an old model, and the manufacturer gave me LAP for maintenance. Tech came to inspect, he replaced the pump with one that was much too strong. The high flow rate made it impossible to maintain temperature - it would overshoot the setting, reaching 110 deg F. The bill was over $1300. I complained, and they gave me the name of another spa company. New company replaced the oversized pump - turns out that the pump that LAP installed was 6x more horsepower than what was needed. read more

I used leisure aquatics to close my pool and bought a bunch of products from them as well. When they sent a bill, I sent a check from my bank immediately, but the check came to my house. Once I realized the mistake, I reached out immediately and paid them. When I first called to ask about opening my pool this season, they told me they had a computer glitch and would get back to me with more information. When they didn't get back to me, I called again. It turns out that they were passive-aggressively avoiding me and upset that I had paid them late. They screwed me for my pool opening this season and now I am trying to scramble to find someone to open the pool. Definitely avoid them! Not reliable. read more

Last fall my auto cover would not close all the way so I called Lap and set up a work order for them to fix the cover when they close the pool for the winter. The workmen were there three times, spent many hours, finally told me I needed a new track! New track in and they got the cover shut all the way. Come spring, I was able to open it but first time I tried to close it, it once again, would not close all the way! Even worst, the cover would not open cuz the ropes were all tangled around the driveshaft! Sent Lap a picture of the tangled ropes, tried to explain the problem....got the remarks, "well, those tracks were put in last year!" And, "I don't know what you want us to do!" And, "it would be six weeks before we can get over there" Needless to say, we now have another company working with us. P.S. new company says the new tracks were put in incorrectly and are not compatible with the old driveshaft. read more

Our family has worked with the Milde's extensively since 2013. They corrected problems we had with our in-ground pool upon moving to our new home (our first exposure to their services). They also sold us our first hot tub which is still used extensively. Their service is easy to access and couldn't be faster. Any issue we've had, no matter how complex (new pool liner, hole in mechanical pool cover, new pump and sand filter, rusted screws under the water line) they've successfully resolved within hours to a day or two. Their knowledge is excellent. Products on site for maintenance are cost effective. I couldn't recommend a family owned local business or service more strongly. read more

I have been a customer of Craig and Leanne's for 15 years. I purchased an above ground pool from them and had it at my last house for 12 years. They were always there to help with questions or issues. We have recently moved and now have a beautiful spa we purchased from Leisure Aquatic. The Artisan brand spa from them was very reasonable and is a much higher quality then the other companies and brands available here. I landscaped the back yard with a very elaborate design and they worked with me to get the spa installed in a very difficult spot on a very challenging schedule. LAPS put our pool up early last spring (2021). Their customer service and getting questions answered was terrible. Communications was impossible. Part of the pool was falling apart so we asked for them to come fix it. I would send an email and not get a response. We would call and talk to a different person each time and get a different answer. That problem was never fixed. Then after storms this past winter we had damage, called again and were told someone would be out early spring. Over the phone we were told the whole thing would have to come down and start over. No one ever came. Called and they said 2-3 weeks, called again, 2-3 more weeks and when I started asking more questions was hung up on. It's the middle if July and still no one has shown up. We did finally find someone else to come take a look and was able to fix it very quickly (without taking the pool down) and gave us some pointers! I asked this company in the spring to come out and take a look at my hottub to make sure it was fine to get it hooked up. After I had the electricity hooked up they could then come back and make sure it was fine. I was told it would get done in June. I called the first of June and spoke with someone and he said it was on the list. When I called in July the woman who answered didnt like what I was describing and said they dont do that. When I expressed to her that I'd waited most of the summer and they'd said they would do it. She said "I dont like where this is going"" and said they were refusing to come out. She didnt like that I interrupted her when I tried to tell her they'd said they would. So if you use this company make sure you dont interrupt them and they like the way you speak to them or they renege on their agreements. I've had an electrician waiting all this time also. read more
