Once our project got close they were in contact and actually completed the project ahead of schedule. They were respectful and hard working. They even cleaned everything up before leaving... they literally wiped my washed and dryer down. You could barley tell it was a work zone at one point in time. We had one bump in the road... our water main got knicked, but as the owner said he was responsible and sure enough I was able to get a plumber of my choice and he paid the bill. We are two months out and have had alot of rain.... not one leak and our blocks are drying out. Would ABSOLUTLY recommend them to anyone I know!!! After learning how to get a permit and paying $25.01 for it I send multiple texts to Jamie and waited for a response. I finally had to email him to get a response. The last email he changed his mind! He suggested "I recommend having a mechanical company--whoever did your furnace and AC--take a look to see if they have a better solution" I thought the customer was right when asking for something I've done before that I know works. If he didn't want to do the job, he should have told me a lot sooner! No very happy with this company.

Chad came by soon after and took at look at the situation, promising to get us an estimate by the next day. (He also noticed some of our gutters needed a couple of extra screws, and he just fixed that for us while he was here. Thanks!) We got the estimate as promised and were surprised that it was not as much as we feared it might be. Chad told us that it might be up to 30 days before they could know what day they could come by to do the work, but they called just a couple of days later and it was completed the following day by Jesse and Jared. They did a great job! (That included retrieving the pieces of the replacement siding we had stored in the rafters of our garage (Jenga-style). We will probably need a window replaced sometime in the next year or two and we already know who we will call. Recommend!

I was a little concerned hiring someone that I hadn't see pictures of their work. However after talking with him I felt more confident in him. There are absolutely no seams visible, the corners are all smooth and square. Dan was easy to reach and was good at communicating through text or phone. Eventually, the snake was found. now the business will not repair all the damage they caused in my home. Please note I paid them $800 plus the initial $150 for the initial service. This mistake will cost me an additional $800 to $1000 to fix my drywall. Buyer beware this company will take advantage of you if you are an elderly person. the $800 paid to them should not have been paid due to the hours occurred at my home were spent looking for an item of theirs that broke, not for what they were hired to do in the first place.

We had a similar plan with a different company when we lived in the Kansas City area. The plan from Tonna Mechanical is half the monthly cost and the technician, Jamie, was extremely professional and thorough. In addition to going over our furnace in detail, he also checked our gas lines for leaks, inspected our water heater, and cleaned our air exchange unit. He also took the time to completely explain the air exchange unit to me, which I confess I did not completely understand. During the wrap up, he also explained that we were eligible for a rebate (once every two years) from Minnesota Energy Resources for having our furnace checked and provided me with the forms needed to obtain the rebate. It was an extremely pleasant surprise. He was on time, did his job, and treated us and our home with respect. I'm very pleased that I signed up for a Service Plan with Tonna Mechanical.

Handrail. We purchased a handrail from Thatcher for the salt water hot tub. In less than 3 years…read morethe handrail broke because of rust. We were informed the warranty was no longer in effect. Hoping there might be some consideration for purchasing a new replacement - there was no offer and it was suggested we call the manfacture. The manfacture only interacts with dealers. Thatcher's response when asked about our options of purchasing another, better quality handrail - was "we don't have other options and don't sell many handrails". It was a frustating. We pruchased a handrail that fastened to the steps for $50 vs our Thatcher handrail that had a plate that slid under the tub for $300. Given our experience, the $50 is a better design for less $$$. Other Experiences. Our other experiences - purchase, install, maintenance have been good, no problems/concerns.
