That was far from the truth. It turns out that we had a leak in the attic that we found out 2 weeks after we moved in. Later on a house inspection revealed that in the basement 3 things were not done by building code. One problem had to do with the sink in the basement bar area that had flexible tubing underneath. The other two problems were the outlets in BOTH the basement bathroom and the basement bar--there was no GCFI outlet in neither of those places! Very disappointing and scary, as we had friends renting the basement for one year before discovering this. What can be more basic than GCFIs?! I'd not recommend this business.
