The kiddos (and adults) really enjoy legos. So here we are! Located inside Tysons Corner Center. The store is neat and organized. Employees, John and Ryan were incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and patient. We found everything we were looking for and then some. Our goodies were neatly wrapped and we were in and out in no time. Horray!

This store is a gem for Tysons Corner Center. In a mall mostly oriented for adults, this is a great escape for children. There are now two Master Builder-constructed statues in the store, which make for great photo-ops. I try to bring my children to the Lego Store at Tyson's monthly for the free build offered by Lego. The sign up starts the 15th of the month prior to the build and quickly fills up for spots after the workday (5pm and later) so it is advantageous to sign up right away before spots fill. The employees who run the build are great with children, and mine always have a fun time. My children love playing with Legos while I shop the store, making it really convenient to get what I came for. The prices at the Lego store are pretty much the same as everywhere else, sometimes higher depending on sales at Target or on Amazon. However, I love the rewards program offered by shopping directly through Lego. We have gotten a few free small sets, keychains, trading cards, and $5 discounts on my purchases, including the Pick-A-Brick Wall. The one thing that I would change is that I wish there were store-specific pieces, such as a Washington DC minifig t-shirt or something of that nature.

I absolutely love the Lego Store and try to make it a point to visit it each time I'm in a major city. So my husband and I stopped over at the one at Tyson's Corner. With the release of the new Star Wars movie they had made a model of the Millennium Falcon. Pretty good work I must say. I did ask if they had any DC mock ups like I had seen elsewhere and was told no but they did have miniatures on display of some of the world's famous landmarks. This store isn't as big as some of the other ones I have visited but they have a great selection for kids and all ages who like to build things. It's a challenge to say the least but it is truly amazing at the ideas they come up with and almost like a jigsaw puzzle you can spend hours working on one of these. Course expect to pay for what you get. They have sets from simple to complex. I like to feel I get my money's worth when I shop here and am always pleased with their offerings.

Totally rad little store…read more The store screams uber yuppie. In reality it's for the uber yuppies's offspring. I'm not sure of the politically correct term for those little rug rats. Rugrats any other kids from the 90s remember that show? The store gets props for having educational toys. I noticed they did have some super old-school toys like Lincoln Logs, Tinker Toys, Legos, wooden hobby horses, fire engines and even other things before my generation. I believe I saw a Radio Flyer wagon to. Hey mom's ya feel making up for my seventh birthday? A few halloween's ago I also noticed they had some rads children's costumes. They were super cute and extremely well-made. The price wasn't bad either. They were so darn cute I had to pick one up for a special kiddo in my life. Along with educational toys this place has some stationary. Some cool school supplies if your brat is fancy like that. Another score I didn't notice a bunch of terribly terribly noisy toys. You know noisy ones that you sent your ex-wife's house. Yeah those toys. You better check the Toys "R" Us for those. I believe this place is some sort of rewards program but I don't shop there enough. You may want to ask the clerks or check with other yelpers. So if you're around the area and you realize whoops I missed my nieces or nephews birthday stop here to pick a last-minute gift.

We stumbled over this cute toy store while walking on our way to a restaurant…read more The lady working there was very friendly and welcoming, we had nothing to buy and just wanted to check out the store for the future, and was surprised that they have so many toys for kids to play with: grocery store, pizza shop, train table, stacking toys etc. my girls had a lot of fun playing with some of these while I browsed around. They have a nice selection of toys for all ages! Their panda bubble machine outside is adorable! And they also have story time during the week, so cute! Will definitely come back

Zero really. I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of flexibility and customer service I…read moreexperienced here. I was told by the manager that teachers receive a 10% discount, but when I asked to apply it, she insisted I present a physical teacher ID. I explained multiple times that I didn't have a physical ID on me, but that I am the owner of a preschool. I offered to show my professional email and even attempted to log into my school's website to verify my identity. Unfortunately, the reception inside the store is very poor my phone calls dropped as soon as I walked in making it difficult to pull anything up online. I asked if she could simply look up my school on the computer behind the counter, and she refused. For a toy and bookstore that promotes educational materials and community engagement, I expected more effort and support toward educators and school owners especially those who have direct access to hundreds of families and students. Instead, I was met with rigid policy enforcement and no willingness to problem-solve. It's disappointing to see a business that markets itself around education and community be so unwilling to work collaboratively with local educators over a modest 10% discount. Customer service should feel supportive, not transactional and dismissive. I think I should take a peek at when their contract is over.
