Walking around the mall, the little one spotted the Lego Store. Located inside Fashion Centre at Pentagon City. This place is dangerous! So many Lego goodies all around. The store is neat and organized. Employees are friendly and helpful. Our Legos were neatly wrapped and we were in and out in no time. Yippee!

For a smaller store, they do a good job. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The Lego boxes are organized well and they have lots of options. They have a wall where you can pick a box of Lego pieces. They also have a station where you can build a set of three Lego people.

Huge new Lego sets! Disney Castle and Ninjago City

Stopped in the Lego store the other day while I was shopping at a few stores around the mall. It was such a great experience! The employees were very friendly and welcoming. People and kids everywhere building, playing and buying those awesome bricks! From personal experience, I know that Lego prices are pretty steep and there aren't many sales/deals but I would recommend that serious Lego enthusiasts/buyers check out the free Lego VIP club where you earn points that quickly translate into $5 off coupons. My favorite part of this store was the Lego displays of finished sets that you can buy in stores and online. They had a really neat Disney castle, a large Ninjago City movie set/building, and a MASSIVE Millennium Falcon that currently retails for $799.99! Can you say sticker shock? ;)

I'm amazed again. I loved Lego so much when I was a kid. Now ... I still love it! Now more artistic and more expensive. I can't wait for the day playing Lego with my kids in the future. Variety: Disney, Big Ben, Star Wars, etc... Price: Expensive. Customer service: Good. Parking lot: Garage.

Hello Lego, in the hall before the entrance.

This location is surrounded by cosmetic shops so after my indulgences I decided to enter and reminisce. I was the only potential customer. A sales associate approached me and offered assistance. The shop was neat and tidy for a toy store. I was amazed at how costly the sets were. I will return to peruse again and think about possiblholiday gifts.

    Minecraft figure is so detailed!

I usually prefer TJ Maxx over Marshalls, so it pains me a little to say this, but the TJ Maxx in…read morethe Pentagon City area has been pretty underwhelming compared to the nearby Marshalls. Since I now work in Arlington, I visit both stores often, hoping to score the kinds of finds TJ Maxx is usually known for. Unfortunately, I haven't had much luck at this location. I still pop in from time to time out of habit and optimism, but more often than not, I leave empty-handed. Selection & Finds: The selection here feels hit or miss, leaning more toward miss lately. There's a sign for a "luxury" section, which initially caught my attention, but the items there tend to lack the quality you'd expect from something labeled luxury. It feels more like a concept than a well-executed section, which is disappointing when you're hoping to discover standout pieces. Store Experience: One of the biggest challenges with this location is how messy it can be. Racks often feel overcrowded, and items are frequently out of place, which makes browsing feel more like a chore than a fun treasure hunt. Compared to the Marshalls nearby, this store feels noticeably less organized and harder to shop. Service: The associates have been fine overall, but the general store upkeep makes the experience feel a bit rushed and less enjoyable than it should be. Pricing: The prices here can be decent, and I know TJ Maxx is known for good deals, but lately I've noticed more items that feel overpriced for what they are. Sometimes the discounts don't feel as significant as expected, especially when the quality doesn't quite match the price point. It makes it a little harder to justify purchases, especially when I'm not finding standout items to begin with. Overall, I still love TJ Maxx as a brand, but this particular location hasn't lived up to the standard I'm used to. If you're shopping in the Pentagon City area, you may have better luck at the nearby Marshalls.

I have never cooked outside of my home and only for a handful of people, so this was an experience! We showed up around the start time, put on our aprons, and prepared to get to work. It was only four of us in the class, all working at one table... I can't decide whether I'm happy it was a more intimate experience or if I would have preferred more participants so I have less attention to myself since it was my first time... Either way it was an absolute blast. The theme of this class was Spanish date night, so we made this chickpea asparagus dish, cheese-stuffed piquillos, Serrano ham- wrapped cod, and almond empanadas. The instruction was clear, tips were given throughout, and overall I found it to be a very approachable experience. Huge shoutout to Penny for doing a fantastic job. Oh, did I mention I used some new kitchen tools and quite frankly had to buy them in the store immediately after?? So fun.
