This Target is in the old Bed Bath and Beyond space in Pentagon Row. The store is somewhere between being a large suburban store and a mini urban store. It doesn't feel like it uses the space as efficiently as BBB, but there is still plenty here. This store has fresh flowers in the front, which are a bit pricey but pretty. There is a good stock of baby formula and clothes. There are lots of self checkout lanes, which are great. My gripe is that some things seem to be more expensive here than at other local Targets. For example, I went to buy vitamins and found that they were $3 higher than the prices at Targets in Falls Church and Fairfax. Seems strange?? That alone makes me reticent to shop here regularly. read more

This store isn't as big as other locations. It feels more like a generic store than a Target. The clothing choices are limited. The makeup section seems one of the focuses. There were more toiletries and beauty products than other categories. The self checkout area was crowded. There were two or three employees standing at the returns desk. To their credit they had the Nintendo Switch game I was looking for. Yet this part of Arlington, parking isn't always a cinch. You can paint a target on it, but it might not be there. All bad puns aside, I am thankful for Jess's help. It has taken considerable effort, to get my son this one for Christmas. Target beat out Game Stop, who I'm not so thrilled by right now. It was super busy. The lines were extraordinary. One would think on a weekday, but it is the holiday season. I'm not sure how or why everyone else seemed off from work today. Have been here once before, and this area is congested with a high volume of people. Traffic is a nightmare. Still this store is well run, and seems fairly organized. read more

A brand new Target. All nice and sparkly. This location is smaller than most Targets. If you need a big selection in the category you're shopping, you need some of their less common products, or you're looking to make a complete grocery run, etc., you might be better off going to one of the other locations in the area. But, they did a great job with the layout and merchandizing, so they have most of what you'd look for fit in there while the store doesn't feel too cramped. With free parking for an hour underground, take the elevators to the ground level where you'll find a grocery store and this Target. For a more urban Target, it's spacious with aisles of toys, clothes, groceries, and all the usual Target suspects. read more

For this particular trip to this Target, I entered within the first half hour of opening. I believe every associate that I came across, said good morning to me, which I was not expecting, and was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness. Many of the shelves in this target, do not seem to be fully stacked or stocked when I am there, but for my purposes, I was able to find what I needed fairly quickly, I went to the customer service desk and I asked where I could find batteries. The associate behind the customer service desk did not know off the top of her head, but she was able to look it up for me, which is understandable, given the various types of products the store has. The reason I had to go to the customer service desk is because the self-serve catalogs did not seem to be working since it was so early and close to opening. Many of the associates were stocking up and checking to make sure the store was clean and appearing professional, which it was, the batteries I bought, ECR 2016 batteries, or not as price as I could find online: I paid around five dollars for two and for the same price I could've gotten online. The overall price isn't too bad but I can't help but think it is cheaper online. Overall, I was satisfied with this visit and will shop here again. read more

I wish I could give zero stars! I was so excited that a Target store was opening in my neighborhood, but this place is a fcking nightmare. I dealt with the biggest idiots claiming to be managers - Hayley and Alex. I was trying to do a simple return that wouldn't have been a problem at any other Target. At this one, I'm standing here 20 minutes in (at the actual register dealing with these idiots), and they are screwing me over at every turn. First they couldn't return the item because they didn't know wtf they were doing. Target online told me I could return and rebuy instead of a price adjustment. So all I want to do is return a *brand new* item, unopened in the box, that I purchased 2 weeks ago. On my Target card. With the receipt, on the app and in my email. So why the hell is this such an issue? Alex was an absolute moron, then Hayley comes in and isn't any better. She returned the wrong item, then said she could void the return, but then couldn't. Then she returns the WRONG ONE. Luckily I realized as I was walking out, so back I go. I say she needs to void the return, she says sure. But then oh great she can't. So she says I have to buy it back. Fine. But now tell me why on earth I would have to buy it back for MORE?? She finally gets the price right, but I had gotten a $100 giftcard with the purchase that she mistakenly returned. So I should get that back, right? Well, Hayley tries to give me a $75 GC. I ask why, she said to look at the product page. Product page $75 GC, but when I bought it it was $100, and I have proof everywhere. She keeps saying they can't override the system, which we all know is lies. (Like another Target made a mistake on receipt last week, didn't use my $15 Circle coupon, so I walked over to customer service and they just gave me a $15 GC in about 3 seconds.) After trying to reason with her AGAIN, she goes "ok I'll give you the extra $25." Bish wut. What is EXTRA about that. No, don't act like you're doing me any favors. I finally get the stupid $100 and lug this huge damn box a block down the street again. All in all, I was there 32 minutes. And got absolutely nothing accomplished. Tomorrow I'm going to take the other box of the exact same item and throw it in their face and get my stupid correct refund. Fck this Target. Makin me act like a damn Karen just to do a normal simple transaction. I'll keep going to Potomac Yards even though it's further, at least they aren't complete idiots. read more

This target is conveniently located by me in Pentagon City , I can walk here in 2 minutes but I won't shop here again; the customer service is bad. I placed an online order for pickup but when I picked up my order I only received half of the items I paid for. I was also charged for bags even though I brought my own. The ladies at the CS desk told me to call customer service because they didn't want to help me. While asking them for help they got indignant with me even though I was nice and professional to them. As I was leaving they shouted at me and was so rude. They acted like I was bothering them. I will save all the money I spend there and shop somewhere else. This is not the first time I had issues with their staff especially those at customer service desk. read more
