Local owner great people I came in few times ordered parts I would recommend them at any time

Today, while visiting Prescott I had s tire issue. I called GoAZ first I bought my Indian Challenge at GoAZ in 2021. GoAZ parts was great, she was friendly and helpful. They didn't have the tire in stock but could get it by Wednesday. I found a tire in Mayer at the Harley Davidson but I'll get to back to that. I asked if I got the tire and got there by 4 could they get me in to swallow the tire out since we need to be on the road in the morning. He said his guys were itching to go home. So I inquired about Wednesday and he said they didn't hsve to tools to swap the tire. Unfortunately there is no special tools needed for changing a tire. Liberty Harley Davidson had 1 tire for $400 however he was rude and acted like he was put out for having to go look for the tire. Then he let me know that he can't work on anything but a Harley Davidson. I let him know it was an unexpected emergency and he said they aren't allowed. The most helpful person in town was the manager at Discount tire. He called around tried to set stuff up and was friendly. I could her the guy from liberty Harley Davidson telling him he'd already told the guy on the Indian he can't change it. So we rented a U-hual and were taking home. The tire prices are about $100 more than the valley. Clearly Go AZ and Liberty Harley Davidson don't care about riders in the least. I wouldn't buy anything from Prescott Valley GoAz or Liberty HD. They aren't about riders. read more

As a retired large automotive aftermarket accessory manufacturing business owner who prided his company on customer service it truly pains me to write a negative review. But the facts are the fact and 3 negative experiences in a row. The owner of Legends Harley Davidson needs to spend some time at the dealership and properly teach these people what the meaning of customer service is. Strike 1 I brought my old 2016 CVO Street Glide to Legends Harley to have the factory Boom Audio upgraded from stage 2 to stage 3. I ordered the part from them and they told me it would take a full day to get my bike back once they get the parts. Spa week later I brought my bike in for the install and 2 weeks later they still had my bike and could figure out what they did wrong. They did some incorrect programming and it took Harley Davidson Corporate to get involved to get it fixed correct. Strike 2: two years later I recently took my wife's bike into to have the OEM Harley key fob alarm system installed. Once again I purchased the parts from them and scheduled an install. When we dropped the bike off they said it would take about a hour and a half. Yep when we went to pick up my wife's Freewheeler the system was not working correctly. Once again they had programmed it incorrectly. One week later they still had my wife's bike and couldn't figure out what they did wrong. All we heard daily was excuse after excuse. They said Harley Davidson was having computer issues. So I called Harley Corporate again and had to get them involved. They assured me that the computer system was fine and they would contact Legends to get the issue resolved. After a week and a half of daily BS stories and excuses from the dealer we finally got my wife's bike back. Strike 3: I ordered 2 simple parts several weeks and of course they have to have full payment up front. They called me Tuesday 2 weeks later and said my parts were in but they could find the part?? Not to worry they would call me back. Call back NOPE nothing. It's now been over a week of me calling them daily leaving messages and no one has the decency to return a call. When I call them again all I get our excuse that we are so busy we will call you back . I was finally given a refund today when I called and had to blow a gasket with them. Hey Trevor what happen to reordering the part and expedited the freight and take care of the customer. No that would take common sense and consideration. 2 things Legends Harley neglects to have. I have found one my 3 personal experiences with Legands Harley Davidson that the staff may seem polite but the dealership lacks customer service, the service department lacks technical service skills, and the entire just have no consideration for the time they waste of there customers. They will not return a phone calls and are full of excuses and always blame someone else for the issues. I even left a message today and said I would like to speak with the manager and once again she could even give me two minutes of her time to resolve a simple issue. So the only thing I can do is warn my fellow local Harley neighbor to beware and if you go to Legends Harley proceed with caution and consider yourselves warned. Legends Harley takes absolutely no accountability or responsibility for their mistakes. I sincerely hope the dealership can learn from their mistake and grow to be a better dealership for the community before it's too late for them. read more

Made appointment for My 2018 Fatboy two weeks ahead of time to make sure I could get in and they set me up for 1:00pm July 24th to flash the computer and get the Cruise Control working. So I drove from Chino Valley Arizona to Mayer Arizona today and was rejected to set up a later appointment. They had another bike they were working on and only had the one mechanic. This would be fine if they had called me to let me know but allowed me to travel on the bike to the appointment and then telling me no go for getting it in. I was going to trade in my bike on the new Gray Ghost Fat Boy but will never step in there the door again... Terrible business practice. Next time call your customer and future new Bike purchaser you make the appointment for, knowing they had to drive 50 miles to cancel the appointment.... read more

This review is a cumulative rating of Legends HD. I have tried to do business here a number of times but have been dis-sueded by a lack of interest and bad responses. I am involved in a motorcycle club in Prescott AZ. No less than 10 of us have gone right past this place to buy new Harleys, in the Phoenix area. I tried to buy 5 little derby cover screws here, and was told that if they had them he would charge me $8.00 ea. I drove to Arrowhead HD, and bought the screws for $.50 each. And spent another $1,000.00 on accessories for my Harley. I was able to get the owner on the phone. He didn't want to listen to anything I had to say. He launched into a lecture on how business works. I was a vice president for a major international vehicle manufacturer. This guy is clueless. This could go on but probably won't accomplish much. read more

I had an 11am appointment to have tires installed on my bike. I arrived at 10:45 and met with the customer service representative, Trevor. He told me that the only mechanic in the shop had walked off the job earlier that morning but was due to be back in the shop within the next thirty minutes. I was also told that the service on my bike possibly wouldn't be completed until 6pm, seven hours later for a job that only takes about two hours to perform. Trevor never bothered to contact me prior to my arrival and tell me about the ridiculous delay. When I voiced my displeasure at the unprofessionalism of the dealership, Trevor made an excuse that there was an issue between the owner of the dealership and the mechanic. I told him that I wasn't going to wait around for seven hours for my bike to be serviced. Trevor told me he would call me by 6pm that evening with a firm date and time within the next few days when I could bring my bike back for the service. Trevor never called me that evening. As a matter of fact he didn't call me the next day either and still hasn't called me. Legends Harley Davidson customer service is absolutely unprofessional. That dealership will never get my business again. read more

I tried to give them 4 stars. The first service was good and good price. They forgot to change my brake fluid. So, I set up a second appointment for 10 o'clock in the morning, got there 15 minutes early, and they took my bike in. I waited 1 1/2 hours, and I asked the parts person if I could have my bike. They told me they had an emergency meeting and they had not started my bike, they left me waiting and didn't tell me anything. The sales manager was told that a person was waiting and no one came out to help. This person came in a few minutes after I did. He also waited 1 1/2 hours. This person was there getting ready to special order a 2025 Street Glide, and he walked out out also. read more

This dealership is way overpriced. I prefer to do business as local as I can, but when dealing on a trade the difference was ridiculous. Also the person I was dealing with had zero respect for my time. Waited and waited for her to give me the numbers, when I was about to leave I finally got them. Went to Buddy Stubbs HD and saved $6500.00 If you're looking at buying a bike here, I would highly recommend getting another quote from another dealer. read more

Service provides less than adequate work. Repairs take three times longer than it should, and usually have to take it back for corrections or additional repairs. Although overly friendly, it probably masks their intent to pilfer your ride. IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND MONEY, YOU WOULD BE WISE TO GET OUT OF THEIR SHOPS. Start to finish buying a motorcycle from this location was a great experience. I had some pretty bad experiences with other dealers nearby. They all gave off this "take it or leave it" vibe that I could not stand. I may have been new to buying a motorcycle, but have quite a bit of experience with buying automobiles and dealing with other financial transactions. Beware, some of the places around here will try to markup well above the price you get quoted online. This place actually took the time to give you a proper experience of dealing with a household brand like Harley. I wasn't expecting it, but I was so impressed and really enjoyed how cool it was to be in a Harley dealership and get treated with respect and an eagerness to do business. I assumed they would have been the worst for some reason, but I'm glad I was wrong. The other part I loved was they didn't try that sleezy approach of marking up the additional costs in the finance office. As a matter of fact the person I initially began to work with also completed the finance paperwork, which was a very cool thing to see. I was about to lose faith in giving any Motorsport dealership my business around here (even cottonwood). Everyone greets you with a smile here and is ready to help you no matter your experience. Good luck getting that same service at another dealership nearby. Actually good luck getting sales reps at other places to even get up from their desk to greet you. You could walk through most of them without even someone saying hello. Looking forward to updating this review when I bring my bike in for service or parts. Beware of what they promise.....long story but went in two days ago and spoke to manager to ask if they buy used Harleys. After she was done Chit chatting with someone she finally had time to talk. She was told model and year of HD we are getting rid of and she said yes, they would buy it and she said the price. Called this morning to make sure she was in today and then rode the bike over to the dealership. Again, she was busy talking to someone and was handed off to someone else. Explained situation to him and he said "we don't buy bikes this old". Told him what the conversation was 2 days ago and he went and spoke to Miss Manager. Now the story is different and that's that, they wouldn't honor what she said. So in closing, buying from or selling to this dealership BEWARE and get it in writing! If we were in the market for another bike we will drive to Scottsdale rather than deal with these people even though this dealership is 15 minutes away. Decided to drive up and check out the dealership, look at a bike or two. We get there some of the staff are friendly some not so much. We seen a couple bikes and was going to go talk about it over lunch and decided to pick up a couple pins for our vests before we left. So I bought 2 and the total came up to $27 for the 2 pins we were talking so I didn't pay much attention and when I got to the house I realized that the back of the pins said $9.99 on them. So I called and was told that the pins prices were raised to $12. I asked how I was charged $12 when it was clearly marked $9.99 and was told well the price went up and basically there is nothing they can do about it. So for that small reason they lost 2 customers that are now purchasing bikes at another dealer. Might not be a big deal but it's still false advertisement and not a way to treat customers. We will never stop there again. read more

So there are dealers that really go the extra mile for their customers.... unfortunately Legends Harley-Davidson is far from legendary. I ordered a primary pulley 2 1/4 socket to remove the compensating nut for a chain conversion from MBS Manufacturing over a week ago and the tool still hasn't arrived. Well, today I called "The Legand-less" Harley dealer to see if they either sold the socket or would let me borrow it for a day. Even offered $100 for it (mind you, the socket is $67 online) Needless to say they neither had the part or willing to let us borrow it. Very rarely is this tool needed, so it wouldn't be a loss for a day. Regardless... the lack of customer service and willingness to help was extremely lacking. Not only will I not purchase parts from them, I likely wouldn't purchase a bike here either. Why the reason for the two stars you say?? Even a D- is passing, but barely! read more

RIDERS BEWARE !!!!!!!!! We took our Harley Davidson into the Mayer store for lighting kits, lighted running boards and some paint work. But received saddle bag, speakers, after market lifters (which voided my warranty) and push rods without any permission from me. Had to fight with dealership to remove the after market lifters. My first bill was $10K ++ when I informed dealership that I had prepaid $9K in advanced I was then informed that my balance was $10K still. They removed lifters and my bill was still $7600.00 and was told we had 30 days to pickup bike and bring cashiers check. Later bill was dropped to $2100.00 1 hours later bill was $3450.00. We paid the $3450.00. When we retrieved our bike work was not completed to satisfaction and am currently not receiving any help at all. This shop is under new management and all riders should stay away from this location. read more

WOW, WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE! Jeremy Dunaev is an outstanding salesman for Legend Harley Davidson. He is very respectful and not a pushy salesman. My wife and I purchased the 2021 Triglide on 10/9/21 and couldn't be happier. All the staff are very courteous and welcoming. If I could rate this place a zero I would, I could not believe how terrible this place was. First of all it took way longer then the parts guy quoted me to even get the parts I ordered. Second the only job the parts guy has to to order parts for a living and ordered the wrong parts for my sissy bar, he also said I needed a light relocation kit and I totally didn't. So he charged me for extra stuff I didn't even need. When I called to let them know of the situation he insured me they would make it right and when I tried returning the parts the store was on vacation. I had to make multiple trips from Peoria I was passed around from person to person before I actually got my money returned and they still charged me a 20% restocking fee for there employees mistake. DO NOT GO HERE !!! Make the drive to Phoenix to be helped by a better store. read more

I will never buy anything from this dealer again. First off, I was looking to buy a new motorcycle. After talking with one sales person for a few minutes, I was presented with another one who seemed completely put out by my being there at all. I had some question on used bike prices, since there are no prices posted on the bikes themselves, he begrudgingly complained that he would have to go to his office and look them up. (3 bikes), I said I would wait. Not pleasant at all. I ended up buying a new road glide from Scottsdale HD. Then last week I needed the oils and filter for my second service. I was sold a M8 filter for $26.00 and 7 quarts of Screaming Eagle 3 hole oil for $115.00. Total oil change parts price, to do it myself was $150. I thought that was high, but I took it because I needed the filter at least. After I got home I started looking online for the filter and found it as low as $9.00. (not Harley brand), but I found the Harley brand for $15.00. So I figured there was a crazy mark up at this dealer, until I compared the price with a friend of mine who had recently purchased the same m8 filter and paid $17. at Legends HD, the same place! So I decided I did not want to use the Screaming Eagle 3hole oil, and used a specific oil for each application, (primary, crankcase and transmission). I called to return the oil and filter I had purchased less than 24 hours before and was told, "I am sorry sir but we do not take returns...ON ANYTHING!" This place sucks. Go online and buy your Harley gear, go to Scottsdale, they are awesome, Legends is dieing a slow death and will not be around long with there BS policies and lousy attitude. read more

Well it looks like I was premature in my review of Legends Harley Davidson, at the advice of the service manager Steve( do to my engine smoking when I picked up my bike)to take my bike to a dyno shop,my bike is still smoking IE burning oil! I sent the owner , General Manager and the service manager an email to let them know the bike it not right! There response was " since you took it to a dyno shop all the issues are on you??? Really you told me to and actually I have several eye witnesses to that effect! You advise me for my bike to run properly after spending 6500.00 at your store I quote" you need to take it to a dyno shop we have done all we can" ! I rescind my prior review and will no longer do business with the Grand Canyon Harley Davidson group more be an advocate for any of their stores! If you need parts, service or a new bike, Scottsdale Harley Davidson is a million times better run as fast as you can away from the Grand Canyon Harley Group ! read more

Purchased a new 2021 RoadGlide. Not one of the Plug wires were properly secured to the frame and all four are rubbing against the top of the heads. Service after the sale is horrible. Wish I had a 0 star available. Unless they are in your backyard I WOULD NOT buy from them. read more

What an awesome group of people! Had problems with my bike, not only did they get me right in but we were running 'issues' getting there and the mechanic was willing to stay late to get me back on the road! They got me right in, took care of the problem and when we needed a little direction to get back where we were staying he road with us to get us headed in the right direction!
