This place is awesome!! I went today and the environment there was amazing. The staff was ridiculously friendly. Every time a regular came in, they made sure to catch up, the staff and customers all acted like they have been best friends for years. I talked to Mary and Lila ( so sorry if I got your names wrong, I suck at names) and I thanked them for being so friendly. They, again, were so great and they thanked me and invited me back. I've followed Legends on Instagram for some time and finally decided to stop in while roaming the streets of Southlands this past weekend. Don't be a fool and wait as long as I did to check this place out, I'm really hitting myself in the head for taking so long to make it here. This place is the real deal! You would never suspect a modern, unique coffee spot in the middle of Southlands but they pull it off. They have the standard coffee house drinks along with some specialty drinks like Macadamia Nut Mocha (uh, yes please) and Honey Lavender Latte which I decided to go with. I like my drinks with a little flavor but not too sweet and they did it just right per my request. I got the medium size to enjoy there and it was more than enough to get me over the afternoon hump. This was our first time trying this place and I was disappointed. We walked in on a Tuesday around 7pm. It was a hit crowded but I assumed it it was a good sign. The barista was not friendly and seemed annoyed he had to make our order. I ordered a capuchino and it was served the tiniest paper cup not in a mug like i had seen online but no big deal. My daughter ordered a hot chocolate which was bitter so she didn't drink it. My husband ordered a chai latte and he said it was good but Starbucks was better. The cinnamon roll was soggy am guessing because it was heated? We want to come back again in the morning hours hoping that it was an off day since this place is close to our home and our daughter likes to do some homework while we have some coffee and spend time together. read more

Legends Coffee has the best coffee in town.. i really loved their ambiance which was pleasant and elegant. More exciting is the place is very close to my place and is located in one of the best malls in aurora. They have various flavors to try. i had their white chocolate hot chocolate which was so good i am in love with it and would highly recommend it. Pricing is really good not expensive at all. Staff is friendly, kind that they give you to taste the coffee which they make for us if we like it or not. Southland's awesome coffee shop. I am definitely visiting the place again for trying out more stuff.. sitting area it cool. It is a great place to hangout with friends or do small meet ups. And a smaller chance they start cooking it without you reminding them after you've been sitting there for a while. The cappuccino was really freaking good. The coffee rich, the milk foamy - a warm, fulfilling drink with pretty latte-art. My friend had a different drink that was sweet but not too sweet, unlike those Starbucks drinks that taste like a sick form of candied death. I can't remember the name of the pastry we had (it had poppyseeds) but the bread wasn't dry and crumbly or too sweet. A moist, zesty cake with the slight crunch of the poppyseeds and the tinge of sweetness from the icing - a heavenly loaf of goodness. They weren't kidding when they said it would change our world. The decor is sort of like a classy hipster feel. The pretty chandeliers with the open ceilings, yet the small succulent gardens on the counter - it's such a cute little place that's good for studying and chilling. Lots of people there had their textbooks and laptops out :) it's a nice atmosphere, and for a coffee shop the ambience is surprisingly bright and refreshing. Although Denver's large array of small business coffee shops is enough to please any needs for a local caffeine fix, Aurora's lack of local coffee outside of the multitude of Starbucks has finally been countered by Legends. Legends Coffee is spacious and stands out on its own next to Chipotle in the plaza off of Main Street.The shop is clean and decorated with lovely minimalist flair - I personally enjoy the ornate armchair by the front window and the rustic wood paneling all around. There are seats everywhere, including a bar area and tables by the windows, which allows for anyone who needs to get a bit of work done plenty of space to do so. Don't worry if you need an outlet; there are tons throughout. As for my coffee order, I decided on the sweet latte, which ending up being the perfect balance of bitter and sweet. No extra sweetener needed and no bitter aftertaste - which is exactly what I look for in a quality cup of joe. I sipped away at my cup happily and admired the cool coffee art (which I rarely get at any other coffee shop I've occupied recently). The pastries also looked tasty and come from a local bakery. Loved the service during my visit, since the staff are well-informed about their coffee and know how to adjust for their customer's tastes.The prices for each item on the menu are on point for the quality and competitive for coffee shops you would find in Denver. Cute local coffee shop in the Southlands mall that was surprisingly busy at lunchtime! I was craving a good chai latte and when I found out they make their own syrups, I knew I had to try them. They have a nice extensive drink menu of coffee drinks and non-coffee drinks, as well as breakfast and lunch items. They also offer a seasonal drink menu. I can only recommend their chai latte, as that's the only thing I ordered--but if you like a good bold cup of chai, you're going to love theirs!! It was exactly what I wanted: not too sweet, spicy, and gingery. They also have a seasonal drink that involves their chai called a Raven (which I think also had extra ginger and chocolate flavors), and I'll 100% be back in for that next time! read more
