I recently moved out of the Legendary Building after nearly 9 years--likely longer than most residents who have lived in my unit since I moved in back in 2017. I wanted to share my honest feedback in hopes it helps future residents have a better experience. If I could rate each category separately on Yelp, I would. Since that's not possible, here's a breakdown of my experience: Location (5/5): The location is excellent. It's in a beautiful area that's very walkable, with plenty of nearby spots to enjoy the city. Everything you need is within close distance. Building (3.5/5): Overall, the building has many strong features, but there are also some ongoing issues that may become frustrating over time. Pros: Modern and attractive building, great rooftop, spacious floor plans, covered parking, EV charging, nice lobby, and a well-equipped gym. Cons: The dog park is frequently closed, the parking structure tends to stay dusty due to poor flooring material, and the pool is covered, so it doesn't get much sunlight. Neighbors (1/5): This was the most challenging aspect of living here. Many residents are loud and inconsiderate of others. Despite the building being non-smoking (and clearly stated in the lease), smoking is still common. Hallways are often cluttered with personal items or even trash. Unfortunately, even with management's efforts, these issues persist. Management (5/5): The management team has always been responsive and professional. Jennifer, in particular, stands out--she is respectful, helpful, and genuinely tries to resolve issues. She brings a lot of value, especially considering the challenges within the building. Maintenance (5/5): Since Ruben became head of maintenance, the service has been excellent. He is knowledgeable, responsive, and extremely efficient. He clearly takes pride in his work and is a huge asset to the building. Overall: If I were averaging these categories, my rating would be around 3.5 out of 5. Since that's not an option on Google, I'm rounding it up to 4 stars. read more

This is our 5th year in the building, and we thought it was time for an updated review since we had a significant change in staff. A New Maintenance Manager "Ruben" is fantastic to have around. You put in a request at night, and he will show up the next day bright and early. He truly cares about the building and treats it as how he would want to look if he had guests over at his house, which is how I would wish the staff to work around the property where I reside. I recently moved to another unit in the building, and they were very fair while inspecting the unit upon moving out, which I believe is a pretty stressful process for most renters. Throughout the changes over the years, of course, there are ups and downs, highs and lows you will have; however, I have to say Ruben truly stuck by the tenants held the place together and made this place safe and enjoyable. The property is kept clean most of the time (of course, it's not perfect, with close to 75 units with lots of kids and fur babies), safe, and conveniently located. Overall, it is a pleasant place to live, and we are happy to be here! read more

Went in for a tour Richard met me in the front and welcomed me he even offered me snacks and water I never visited a building like this and was amazed throughout the whole tour. Terrible Living Conditions - Do Not Recommend I've been living in this apartment building for a little over a year now, and it's been a very disappointing experience. The cleanliness of the building is a major issue. From the elevators to the parking lot, the entire building is filthy. They have just one cleaner for the whole place, and it really shows. The management is either nonexistent or completely disorganized. Random people seem to be living in the apartments, and there's no sense of order or safety. I have a dog, and while I always clean up after my pet, other residents let their animals pee everywhere without bothering to wash up after them. The building smells, and nothing is being done to address this issue. My previous apartment, which was nearby, was much better in every way--cleaner, more organized, and the management was always available and on top of things. This place is just a huge downgrade. I definitely do not recommend living here. read more

If I could, it would be no star at all. This building is owned by a rich guy who basically doesn't care about anything, anybody and does whatever he could to not spend money to keep his owned building livable and safe! Water sprinkles are faulty in this building, there was major incident last year and one of Water sprinkles burst and went off with no reason inside one of the unit, after that we had couple of minor leaking from water sprinkles but these were not enough for owner to replace these faulty water sprinkles so this time, it happened inside my apartment, again one the water sprinklers burst and went off, water got to everything, unfortunately all our furniture, electronic devices, shoes, bags and etc. got water damages, we couldn't live in our apartment for more than week, we have to deal with insurance and.....this could be avoided if he change the water sprinklers when it happened 1st time. Basically this incident happened due to negligent of the owner. Needless to say they are asking for rent as well o_0 Please do a favor to yourself and stay away from this community, you have enough to deal in your life, you don't need extra hassles and troubles. BTW, Patty, the property manager, she is really good, very responsible and caring, however she doesn't have authority to make any major decision and her decision will be over written by owner and her owned manager: "Steven" that I don't know how he got the regional manager position with the way he is working and treating tenants. read more

WARNING: DO NOT RENT UNIT #217 I'll start off with the positives. 1. The location is great. We're walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, and the Americana. 2. It has a nice rooftop, but the furniture is dirty and the grill doesn't really work well. 3. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 is because the property manager has been really amazing. She's very responsive and helpful and overall she does a wonderful job. Most of my complaints are with the building itself. Now on to the negatives. Do not rent unit #217. First of all, the unit is right next to the trash shoot and it smells disgusting almost all the time. The only time it's not unbearable is when they replace the plug in air fresheners, and then it smells like the Febreze sent of floral heaping garbage. You're going to be fooled by the incredibly huge balcony-terrace, but if you value your peace and quiet don't do it. The reason you have this amazing balcony is because it's right above the gym. Every time someone is working out at the gym, I can hear them slamming the cable weights and dropping the dumbbells and my entire unit shakes like an earthquake. I can even hear people running on the treadmill. Since I work from home now, I literally hear people from 6am through midnight and it's driving me nuts. The residents of the building always park in the guest parking, so when your guests come over, there's no where to park. Management sent out a letter that people would be getting fined if they continue to park there and it worked for a couple days, but people are back to parking in guest spots regularly. read more

I have lived in Glendale for 4 years now, trying "luxury"apartment after "luxury" apartment & this by far had the best customer service. Patty was amazing from the gate. I met her visiting a friend, before I even had a thought of moving in. I was set on renewing my lease at my apt literally a block over, but her personality and the attention she paid to her residents pulled me in. She was always attentive & time sensitive when it came to any issue or concern. That is rare. I would definitely recommend others to the Legendary based off her alone. The property itself is amazing. The amenities are never crowded. Always had the gym to myself,pool to myself, enough room on the roof to where I could be entertaining a group of friends as well as 2 other residents doing the same. Amazing property, amazing management, amazing location. Would definitely recommend! read more

A great place to live! The manager, Patty, is a superstar! She's very responsive and always kind. She's a hard worker, and you can see that she really cares about the building. She just threw an awesome summer fiesta-themed party on the rooftop complete with a DJ and margaritas! The maintenance, George, is awesome too! He's very friendly and does amazing work. Anytime I've had an issue (which is not often), George came right over and handled it that day. He always walks with a smile on his face, and it's a pleasure to call him my neighbor. The building itself is beautiful! The rooftop is huge (and it's nice that it's open until midnight). It has a firepit, dog park, TV, lounge chairs, grill / bar area - just a great place to hang out. The apartments are very spacious and in such an amazing area! There're so many restaurants and shops within walking distance (Porto's Bakery is literally right behind the building) - the Americana and Galleria are only a stone's throw away - it's pretty great. Every neighbor that I've met has been friendly and easy to talk to. Great apartments, great location, great neighbors, STELLAR management - compared to other properties where the management can be 'over-bearing' - I'm so glad we found this place. All-in-all, my wife and I love living here, and plan on staying for a long time! read more

Great community. Fairly quiet neighbors and just the right amount of amenities. Glendale is the perfect balance between city life, shopping, and a safe family town feel, so finding an apartment community like Legendary Glendale makes it even better. Management does an amazing job connecting with the tenants and having community functions like Taco trucks, free yoga sessions and workouts etc. It's cool to have some entertainment right at home sometimes. Just like any apartment building there are some minor tweaks that can be made but that's life. Love this place. read more

I moved here from another one of those "posh" locations in Glendale that I used to live in. And this is the first time in a while I walked into a building and I was able to tell myself "yup, this feels like home..!!" There was an issue with my kitchen sink disposal, I let the manager Patty know, and it was taken care of the next day. A couple of my light bulbs went out simultaneously, I stopped by her office on my way up after I got back to the building from work, said I needed a couple of bulbs, and if I should go to home depot or if they keep some on deck, she said hold on.. phones the maintenance man who they keep at the building full-time, and he went and got me two, and I got back upstairs with my problem solved, not even having have had to go back and forth about it with anyone. I see a couple of cleaning ladies cleaning the building, pool area, common areas, corridors and trash cans and everywhere all the time. And I'm a bit picky when it comes to cleanliness and organization, and this place doesn't create any issues for me - and maybe I'm even understating my issues with cleanliness here a bit I don't want to sound like a complete freak. Clean units, built well, good set up, built to provide enjoyable living conditions (I'm in the field of construction so I know a thing or two about buildings and structure.) This is a good building to live in and all in all I've had nothing but pleasant experiences running into my neighbors everyone is very courteous and on a human level with everyone else. We had an incident here where one of the sprinkler heads blew out on it's own and created some water damage in some units, and it was a Friday.. so I remember all Saturday and SUNDAY and well into the week the building management and their construction team had bodies on the ground here working round the clocks under the supervision of their construction superintendent Mr. Cuevas to help people get back to their normal lives. And i notice these things again because that's the field I'm in and that's what I notice everywhere I go - structures and crews - and I can tell you all those workers and equipment and round the clock effort I saw here was something very noteworthy and I could tell that no costs were spared. In conclusion, I just want to say I like this building, and I intend on staying here a while - it feels like home, and the quality of the management, the building itself, and most of the neighbors I've met here so far all play a part in making life here a wholesome and pleasant experience. read more

This is no luxury apartment but with a Luxury apartment price!Apartment building and Business is poorly managed. Lack of amenities. Apartment is not kept well. Exterior building is dirty. Balconies are filthy. We were planning to move here due to a desperate move and changed our minds a couple days before because of poor communication or lack of!Not able to get a hold of anyone a week before our move. Contacting the manager, Vanessa was impossible and had a temp to fill in, who didn't have a clue how things worked. Dealing with Senior Manager, Steven Sapp was unproductive and didn't get a call back from corporate office to complain.Plus, getting our deposit back took a hundred emails and a couple months later.We certainly dodged a bullet! read more

Let me tell you the Legendary Glendale is definitely coming in very strong these days after been living here for a few months and it deserves to be noticed. This complex brought in some professional crews that actually are associated with Las Vegas. This place is literally smelling like Belagio and the building in itself is changing completely daily. This is the first apartment my boyfriend and I rented together last year (one bedroom apartment) at the Legendary Complex last year and quickly we fell in love with the complex. The first thing I will mention is location, location, location we are walking distance from shopping at the Galleria and Americana as well as restaurants and entertainment on Brand Blvd. Second, the new management is pretty awesome when it comes to any issues that arise, especially Patty the manager, she is really friendly, ready to accommodate and help when she can with any problems, or concerns we have. She is really sweet and honestly goes out of her way to help. When time came to renew our lease we ended up renting a two bedroom in the same complex. The pool is perfect for summer time and the rooftop is awesome as well. On weekends and holidays they have events for all tenants to attend. One of the qualities we love most about the complex is how peaceful and quiet it is in both apartments we have rented. Neighbors are friendly and nice to each other. We are happy with the overall vibe of the complex. read more

This apartment is our very first home as a married couple and as a family. The apartment is clean, family friendly and has a great environment. Perfectly located between all the entertainment and food places such an easy walk to everything great in Glendale. Roof top is beautiful and so is the downstairs courtyard. It is so nice to have a gym that is so clean. We are so pleased with Patty & George who are always there to help with anything that we need. Newly built luxury apartments is a trend here in Glendale a.k.a. Jewel City. Have been living in this wonderful city for over 20 years moving from Chicago. I have been living at Legendary Glendale for over a year now and let me tell you it is an absolutely amazing experience. They have a semi indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, fitness center sky deck with firepits upstairs and downstairs. If you're a pet owner you would love it here as well. The management is "too pet friendly" if there is such a term. They have a big dog park in the sky deck for your furry friend(s) to interact with one another, exercise and most importantly potty. That way you won't have to deal with paying for sitters or dog walkers etc. The sky deck has a wonderful view of downtown Glendale and is conveniently located in the heart of the city where The Americana and Glendale Galleria are 2 blocks away. The restaurants around the building are amazing. There are cafes, bars, coffee shops all within a half a mile radius. I am proud to be a Glendalian and a very happy camper here at Legendary Glendale. Patty, the manager is a delight and a real kind person that is there to help with any questions or concerns you might have. They organize cool parties for holidays and other activities and all of these things are absolutely free of charge. Take my word for it come see Patty and become part of the LEGEND team! read more

My experience with Legendary Glendale has been great so far. I am relocating to the Glendale area for work and they have been very accommodating. Sherry in the leasing office was awesome and she went above and beyond to help us out. Right now I am in the application phase of the process but so far it I have been very pleased. It seems like the new management that has taken over has a lot of good plans for the complex such as renovating the fitness center and adding a restaurant in the retail space below the complex.
