Excellent Experience! I would highly recommend renting from Classic Apartments. During my tenancy from 2018-2025 they were consistently professional accommodating and responsive to maintenance requests. Thank you Classic Apartments! read more

My apartment in Glendale became the home that I needed to rest and plan for the next major point in my life. The building itself is quaint, very well-kept, and brings a touch of nostalgia of happier simpler times. My studio in particular had lots of natural lighting and greenery outside which made it feel all the more homey. Also, it's hard to find landlords these days that aren't shady or money grubby - aka, bull. Alex however is a true star. If you want to live in peace and have a landlord who is responsive, respectful, and professional - just do yourself a favor and live here. Gonna miss this place! read more

Alex is an amazing landlord, he was my landlord for a 1 1/2 years he was always very polite and anytime we needed anything or had any questions regarding the apartment he was very quick to respond and help anyway he could. This was my first apartment in LA and he made it even better by being a great property manager. read more

I stayed in Alex's apartments for 2.5 years and I had a great experience. The apartments themselves are beautiful. I always got a plethora of compliments from visitors on how cute the apartment itself was, especially the kitchen and bathroom which have that classic retro LA charm. Alex was extremely responsive and attentive the whole time. Whenever there was something wrong, we would immediately start getting someone dispatched over to support in the next day or so, and the repair and maintenance people were always professional, timely, and friendly. So grateful for the fantastic experience I had staying in Alex's apartments. It was a very tough decision to leave but I would highly recommend renting from Alex again to my friends and loved ones any day! read more

I lived at the Glendale classic apartments for about 2 and a half years. Alex was always very responsive when it came to anything I needed attending to, but I never had anything major happen. I really really loved living here and I would of continued to stay for a few more years if I didn't have to travel for work. When i was looking for an apartment during covid, my deciding factor always included looking for a space that feels peaceful, and that was the reason I moved here. He held the apartment for me for a month because I told him i loved it so much. Was so very thankful he did that. I had a lot of wonderful memories here and I'm sure anyone who lives in the apartment I was in, or any of Alex's apartments, will have a lovely experience. read more

Alex was my landlord for over a year and I had the best experience with him. He was always kind and responsive whenever I needed anything. He was the perfect balance of helpful and friendly without being a nosy or invasive landlord. When I moved in the place was spotless. He really had it cleaned well and well maintained so moving in was super easy. It was one of the best renting experiences I've had!! I would've stayed longer if I didn't need to move to a bigger space. read more

I lived at the 1029 1/2 N. Louise St. apartment for 13 years before eventually buying my own place, but if not for that, I would not have left. Alex is so great and responded to everything I asked. This apartment has been such a big part of my life and I couldn't have had a better experience. This is a wonderful place to live. read more

I lived in the 1019 N. Louise Street apartment complex for a year and a half before moving to another place. The apartment is charming and beautiful with stores like Walgreens, Trader Joes, and Coffee bean just around the block. Classic Apartments gets a 5 star review because of my own experience with Alex, the property manager. Alex is prompt in his responses and gets out a repair person the very next day. He is a trustworthy person and works with you towards a solution, never against it. I recall having to move in to my building in a small timeframe and he made it happen. I unfortunately had to move to be closer to a new position; however, had I stayed at my old job I would not have left. read more

Oh where to begin....?Classic Apartments is hands down the best renting experience I have ever had. So much so, that I have been in the same unit for the last 7 years, and couldn't be happier. Starting with the property itself; the outdoor areas have been thoughtfully designed and are immaculately kept. The buildings are downright gorgeous, and as you can tell by the pictures, the units are spacious, classy, and receive wonderful light. The owner/landlord Alex has been nothing but great. He is super friendly, and if ever there has been a problem (and they were seldom), he would have a crew out to fix it immediately. If you happen to be lucky enough to see a vacancy at one of classic apartments locations, ACT QUICKLY!!! because they will be snatched up, and you don't want to miss out on one of their great spaces. I promise you will love it. read more

Alexander Bermudez has been an exceptional property manager, he has been extremely attentive and his maintenance crews, have always been very quick to respond to my service calls. Furthermore Alexander has routinely made cosmetic as well as structural improvements to the property, significantly improving its appearance, functionality and safety. Additionally Alexander has been very generous with his time and his knowledge of the local real estate market, our conversations on the subject have been enlightening. read more

I lived at the 1019 N. Louise Street apartment complex in Glendale for 11 1/2 years. Alex is a top-notch building manager. He was always responsive to my needs whenever my home needed minor repairs. He's very professional, kind and friendly. Aside from managing the complex, he has great interior design style and a wonderful architectural aesthetic. I enjoyed my home very much with its charm and character of the 50's as well as the newly, beautifully renovated exterior. I loved having a Murphy bed in the living room if I had an overnight guest. There's lots of storage and the kitchen was huge compared to the standard "galley" style kitchens in most apartments. I highly recommend these apartments which are affordable and nicely maintained. I am thankful to have had such a great living experience. I would probably still be there today however a great career opportunity relocated me to Virginia as well as being closer to my family. Thanks, Alex, for everything! read more

I lived in Classic Apartment's North Louise Apartment in Glendale for about 1.5 years. From the moment I contacted Alex to view the studio apartment until the last few hours I spent moving out of it, I had the best experience. The studio was in the perfect location and was the perfect size for me. Alex was professional, courteous and always timely with my requests for maintenance. I only had a few requests throughout my renting experience, and when I did, Alex made sure that everything was taken care of within 24 hours. The complex was well-maintained, the neighbors were friendly and the price was just right! I'm so sad to leave this apartment and if I could, I would take it with me! ;) Thanks, Alex and Classic Apartments - you have my highest recommendation. read more

I lived in 1023 N. Louise St. for a little over a year. The landlord/property manager Alex is great and he made my stay there pleasant. Whenever anything broke, there was a repairperson on the job within at least a day and he is very easy to talk to and work with. The apartment was clean and pretty much free of pests except for a few silverfish. The rental price was decent given the local market. If I was looking to move to Glendale again, I would not hesitate to rent with Alex! read more

My husband and I have lived at the W. Alameda Ave. apartment in Burbank for a little over 1.5 years. Alex has been such a great landlord to us, and takes care of any need that arises, as quickly as possible. He does an amazing job of keeping the premises clean and well-maintained. Alex is very fair with rates, and is an all-around great property manager. We loved everything about our apartment - clean, charming, great location, etc. - and are sad to go. Unfortunately, being forced to work from home due to the pandemic has led us to the difficult decision of looking for another apartment with more space (we lived in a 1bd). All in all, these are great apartments to rent and are highly recommended! read more

Great living opportunity. Our landlord is quick to response and addresses any concerns.

My wife and I lived in Alex's building for a year back around 2008/2009. The apartment was great- but that's not what makes it 5 stars. Alex was just a good property manager! We had a few little things happen (once with a water heater and once with some stuck windows) and Alex always had someone on the property to check it out and fix it the very next day. Other than that, he really stayed out of our hair...which is exactly what people want in a landlord, right? The landscaping was beautiful always. I hear he even hires ACTUAL arborists --from TreeCareLA ;) --to take care of the trees! We only moved because I got a job in Inglewood and the commute was too much. If you like the building/location, then go for it. You won't have to worry about the property management. read more

Lived here for just under 2 years while I was working in Glendale. Alex is an amazing property manager and he responds to service calls immediately! He was a pleasure to work with and I will miss having such a great building owner. I really enjoyed living here, location is perfect and walking distance to many grocery stores and food options. Tenants are respectful and area is quiet at night. Highly recommend living here!!! read more

I've lived at Alexander Bermudez' apartments in Burbank for the last two and a half years and have never had a better living experience. His apartments are always in top shape and he rents to great people. Not to mention the speedy service you don't find from other propery owners/managers. My toilet clogged and he had it fixed within 2 hours. No 'we'll fix it next week' here. The pipes rattled one morning, by the time I was home from work he had them fixed. This is a great property and a great landlord. read more

Alex was my landlord for ~5 years so I have some credibility to say that he is awesome. He takes care of issues immediately (sometimes even on the same day), responds to texts/calls quickly, and is just a good person to talk to. He made my renting experience a breeze; time will fly by without you knowing it just like the 5 years zoomed by for me. read more

We have lived at Alex Bermudez's one-bedroom in Glendale for over a year now. And we are just so sad to have to move. We are having twins in a few months and need a bigger place, or else there is no way we would leave Alex's place. Not only is the apartment amazing, but Alex's care of it and us is just great. If you are looking to rent in Glendale, do so with Alex. read more

Alex is the best property manager I've ever rented from. Hands down! In 17 years of being a tenant, nobody holds a candle to him. We rented from Alex for nearly five years - and don't have a single complaint. He was there if we needed him - but otherwise gave us our space. He struck a perfect balance. He's incredibly fast, responsive and level. If we needed something fixed he responded immediately. When our water heater broke, he somehow knew before we did and had someone there to fix it within an hour of discovering the issue. When our roof sprung a leak in the middle of the night on Dec 23rd - he had someone there to fix it the next day (xmas eve). The property was well taken care of and communication was easy. I wish they all could be like Alex. Truly. It's weird to miss a landlord. If you have an opportunity to live in one of his properties - absolutely take it. You won't find a better property manager/landlord anywhere. read more

Living in Alexander Bermudez' apartment has been by far the best apartment experience I have had yet. The landscaping surrounding the apartments are well maintained by a friendly weekly crew. In the event of any malfunction, (garbage disposal, leaky faucet, the usual..) he has sent his maintenance guys over promptly, usually within hours. The actual apartments are beautiful, with hardwood floors and some crown molding. The tenants around us are always friendly and polite, as if they have been handpicked for their amicable personalities. In direct contrast to the stereotype of the overbearing landlord or property manager, Alexander Bermudez is a dream. He does not micromanage his tenants; rather, he quietly creates a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere that his tenants a happy to preserve. Lastly, his rates are competitive and his demeanor as a property manager makes them a steal. I highly recommend his properties for people interested in a lovely and stress free living space. read more

Renting from Alex couldn't have been a better experience. While living at his Glendale property for over 5 years, Alex always responded to questions punctually and when the rare maintenance request happened it was always resolved promptly. The one-bedroom apartment has plenty of storage space for two people and it really felt like a home. The neighborhood is very walkable with a pharmacy, grocery store and coffee shop only one block away. Alex cares about his tenants and he shows this by having a very high quality property and he is always courteous and willing to listen to his tenants. You can't go wrong with living at Classic Apartments and you will have a great experience with Alex. read more

My experience with Alex and Classic Apartments was wonderful! The apartments in Glendale had a beautiful vintage feel with all the modern upgrades. The grounds were immaculate and always well taken care of and Alex, the property manager, was excellent. Any issues that arose were handled both quickly and efficiently. Being that this was my very first renting experience, Alex helped to make it a breeze! I'd definitely recommend Classic Apartments to anyone looking to rent in the Glendale or Burbank area. read more

I absolutely loved living in my studio on Louise!!! I was so lucky to have found Classic Apartments (here on yelp) and been put in contact with Alex. At the time I was desperately looking for a new place closer to work, and the second I was there for the walk through, I knew this was the fit for me. I ended up living there for three years. My neighbors were super quiet, and my studio was ridiculously spacious in comparison with other options. My unit had tons of storage and a full kitchen in another room (divided by a wall from my living area). It was super charming. I never had any issues with the unit (except a quick fix for my disposal), and Alex was super easy to get in touch with. He keeps all the units in excellent condition, and pays attention to making the facade look inviting. The next tenant will totally be lucky to have it! I'm going to miss this place. read more

Alex is hands down the best landlord I've ever had. He is extremely responsive to maintenance repairs, is always available through text or phone call and really just cares about the property and tenants. I lived in his Burbank apartment for 1.5 years with my wife and would definitely still be living there if I wasn't expecting a child. You will not regret living here not only cause the rent is significantly lower than almost anywhere in Burbank but because truly an enjoyable experience!! read more

I lived in a studio apartment at the Glendale property for 3 years. It was an amazing place to live! No complaints whatsoever. Alex is a great landlord -- he takes excellent care of all his tenants and was always there for whatever was needed. Definitely check out his vacancies if you are moving into the area! read more

Alex seems very unprofessional. If he has no vacancies state that opposed to going radio silent on prospective tenants.

I've been living in one of the apartment complexes that Alex manages for the past 2 years and it has been nothing but pleasant and hassle-free! The couple of times that I needed to get something fixed he was on it and the problem was fixed the same day. You can always get ahold of him - no leaving voice mail messages that get ignored....I even called him on Father's Day once because I was having a plumbing issue and he answered his phone and sent over the maintenance crew! Alex is very easy to work with - no drama, no hassle and very accommodating. This was my first apartment experience and I'm afraid I've been spoiled to the point that any other landlord/manager is going to have a hard time living up to my expectations! Oh, and I've never had a complaint about any of my neighbors or the condition of the premises or anything! Very professional and well managed property! read more

As my property manager, Alexander Bermudez did an outstanding job. He was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns that I had. The grounds of the apartment that I rented were well maintained because Alex cares about what his property looks like and our perceptions about the our homes. He was very easy to work with and made me feel like an actual valued client unlike many landlords I have dealt with in the past. He was able to adjust his schedule if something needed to be done at the apartment and that is something you won't find very often. Plus the added fact that he owned the building I rented from him, made it important to him to heed every need as well. I was transferred by my job to another town and is the reason why I had to relocate, but I will say that Alexander is the best landlord I have had, hands down. I'm sad I don't have him as a landlord now, but you should feel lucky to get the chance to have him as a property manager. He will go above and beyond to make you feel at home and surpass all your expectations of a property manager. read more

Alex Bermudez was an amazing property manager. We lived in an industrial loft downtown that he managed for just around 4 years and only have good things to say about him. Being that space was what I said, an industrial loft and not just a condo calling itself a loft because it had exposed brick there would occasionally be a problem here or there. Alex was always quick to get it sorted out and was super accommodating about our schedules if the fix necessitated someone getting inside the unit. Also he is just a really nice pleasant guy that I liked talking too. It never felt like a landlord tenant situation more just like he was a buddy that was going to help me get things done when they needed to be. read more

I cannot say enough great things about Alex and Classic Apartments! I lived in the building on N Louise St and it was a wonderful experience. The building/grounds were always clean, the neighbors friendly, and it truly is in the best part of Glendale to live. I was sad to leave, but life decided to take me in a different direction. If it hadn't, I would probably be living there for years. True story. read more
