My mom and I moved to La Ventana almost two months ago, and by far, it's the best apartment complex we've ever lived in. Hands down, Rose, the manager, is outstanding! She has such a great attitude and is always super helpful and friendly. I honestly cannot recommend this place enough. We're so happy we chose La Ventana! read more

I lived here for 18 years, that should say it all. But I'll say more: the management here is truly one of a kind. Rose, the property manager, is responsive, professional, and actually cares about the people living here. Maintenance requests were handled promptly every time, and when something was beyond fixing, she replaced it without making it a whole ordeal. That kind of follow-through is rare and it made such a difference in day-to-day life. The apartments are all newly renovated and a great size, especially for the price. Parking is included in the garage, and street parking in the area is easy enough that guests never had trouble finding a spot. Laundry is in the building and fairly priced, which is honestly more than you can say for a lot of places. 18 years is a long time to stay anywhere, and I genuinely think Rose is a big part of why I did. If you're looking for a place where the people running it actually do their jobs well and treat residents with respect, this is it. read more

Where do I start? Renting with La Ventana has been an amazing journey for me. Moving cross country was nerve-racking, but Rose made it a breeze. If you are looking for a quiet, nice clean and cozy apartment in West Hollywood, La Ventana is your pick. read more

I've been living here for a month now and have fallen in love with the place. Rose the manager is the epitome of a GOOD MANAGER. Every question is answered in a timely manner. I have lived in a few different major cities and in LA since 2013. I have lived in two different complexes and this is my third and I LOVE IT HERE. I have been here for two years and I promise I wouldn't leave here unless I was purchasing a home. The location is A+, the parking garage and guaranteed spot is A+, laundry downstairs and most of the machines are digital, the elevator (just having one makes life so much easier) A+, balcony, walk in closet, great size one bedroom, mine has a little den that I use as an office, more light than I have ever had in any apartment I've lived in, and the renovation that happened before I moved in made for an updated, well painted apartment. The building manager Rose lives in house and I love that she's here. It is so much better and easier to get things done than any other property I've lived at. I've only had a few issues since I've been here and they have gotten fixed within a few days and none were emergencies. She's on her stuff and I don't think she'll ever know how much I appreciated the work she did for me. Online maintenance requests are so much easier, paying rent is digital, life here is pretty sweet. THANKS ROSE!!!!! YOU'RE THE BEST. read more

Finally found a place for my own after years of dealing with roommates. I moved out to LA and didn't expect the quick and professional experience I dealt with. Application process was smooth and easy, thanks to Rose, the property manager and Mike, at the leasing department. I was able to move in within two weeks, and I had an easy time adjusting to my new home thanks to the building being maintained clean, the secured garage, and a laundry room on site. Additionally having a top unit came with the perks of having a great view of the Hollywood sign from my balcony. read more

I lived here for a little over a year and if I didn't move out of LA for work, I would've stayed much longer. Rose the property manager is fantastic. Super responsive to any and all concerns I had (there weren't a ton) and always kind and courteous to all tenants. The building itself could use a facelift, but my corner unit on the fourth floor was perfect for me. Considering how ridiculous rent prices in LA can be, this building is priced fairly. Central heat/AC in unit, updated appliances, laundry on site, parking provided, electric vehicle charging on site. If you're considering moving here I would highly recommend La Ventana! read more

The Ventana or Paladia phenomenal leasing and management staff. The maintenance team is awesome too. We really love this complex.

In January, I came to La Ventana to view a 1 bedroom + studio. Both units were on top floors with awesome views. I had a great experience touring an apt at the La Ventana Building. Rose is honestly one of the best landlords I've ever dealt with, super friendly, approachable, and really on top of everything. She made the whole process easy and stress-free. The place itself was great, but the commute ended up being a little longer than I expected for work. If it weren't for that, I definitely would've applied. read more

La Ventana is a very decent and affordable community. you're in Hollywood but in the quiet parts, great access to everything. the building is always clean. the only minus is the elevator being a bit slow. Rose is the best, the building is quiet and feels like home. So happy I ended up choosing Ventana!

Been here for 4 years, never had any issue till a little prior to the pandemic. Corporate Management was changed and issues started arriving. On site manager Rose is AMAZING to say the least. She is responsive event at 9pm when something happens. The corporate Portobello tho is an other story. My AC has had 7 service on the last years and a half because it stops working during the day. The apt is set a 72-75 but get to 80 during the day and management keep sending the same worker that changed the thermostat, the filter, wires but still doesn't work and it might not be an emergency for them but I work from home and this is UNBEARABLE I WOULD GIVE 5 stars to ROSE and 3 stars to the corporate management, read more

I've been living at this location for about a week now. The property manager Rose has been very informative, and any questions or issues I've had, she has gotten back to me quickly, and been on top of things. No real issues, just minor things. Our AC isn't blowing cold air. Rose scheduled date someone that day to come out two days later. The maintenance man needed to order a part and she was quick to update me. So far, so good! :) read more

La Ventana - This is the beautiful view from my bedroom. - Apartments Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I relocated for work and was surprised at how effortlessly I found a new apartment. The credit for this goes to the apartment manager, Rose, who was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. I have been living in the apartment for almost six months now and I absolutely love it. The amenities are fantastic, especially the spacious laundry room that is perfect for everyone. The large communal balcony is another great feature and I find myself spending a lot of time there. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment complex. read more

Love Rose! She's always available to answer questions and actually let's you know when packages have arrived. As for the property, there were a few small things in my unit that should be fixed up eventually, but they are truly minor details (ie. Doorbell). To note, although a bit loud (totally happy they are doing it), they decided to redo the hallways! The hallways were carpeted, so there was a lot of dust. However, they are in the process of switching to wood, which will help the air quality and the floors will stay cleaner. My unit was fully remodeled prior to my move-in. Laundry unit is advanced with coin-less operations. You pay money into an app, scan the machine, then done. I hate quarters, so I was ecstatic! The parking garage is gated for security, and the area is really nice because there is plenty of street parking for friends of family visiting. All-in-all, great first month here! read more

I recently moved to the apartment, and I'm very happy with the quality of my unit. Rose (property manager) was extremely helpful throughout the whole process in helping to resolve issues and getting back to me quickly. Overall, very happy with my choice of apartment so far! read more

Rose (property manager) was very helpful before moving in and during the process of moving out. She helped me out with any questions I had and directed me to whomever would be the best contact to handle any situation. Very communicative and even lets you know when you have a package waiting for you. Such a nice person + will do what it takes to help you out. The company that owns the apartment complex has a bunch of other properties as well, all super affordable, depending on where you look. My rent was such a steal. I rented a newly renovated 2 bed 2 bathroom for $2395, had two car parking with ample street parking as well, laundry facility, and in the heart of Hollywood. Really can't get a better deal than this. I lived at La Ventana for about 6 months (went back home for the remaining 6 months of my 12 month lease because of covid) and there was never really anything to complain about during my 6 months of living there. As mentioned, my apartment was newly renovated and everything was modern -- granite countertops, grey wood flooring, beautiful cabinetry. It's a fairly quiet area and I never had to make any noise complaints despite it being super close to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Always free parking on the street, so that was a huge plus. read more

We've lived here for 9 years now. When I walked into our apartment the very first time when Rose, the manager showed it to me, I fell in love with it. It was bright and it had hardwood floor (we've always lived with carpeted floors). Considering it's on the first floor opening to Lexington and has a one-story building right across, it is still very bright throughout the day. We don't have a view as some people on the floors above us might have, but we're hardly ever home, so it's not really a concern. Neither is the fact that there's no pool. And yes, the walls are thin and you can often hear the neighbors, but I sleep with ear plugs, so again, not a problem. As other reviewers have said, the "heart" of the building is Rose, the manager. She's on top of everything all the time. She's doing her best to have things fixed as soon as possible. Most recently I requested that the towel rail gets replaced on our shower door (it broke off earlier). We ended up with a brand new shower door and all the rust and mold that encased the old shower door was beautifully cleaned off as well. We couldn't be happier. Unfortunately, sometimes it's not up to her how fast things get fixed. If it was, believe me, everything would be fixed and done within 24 hours. Rose has actually done a good job at selecting new tenants and getting rid of problem tenants over the years. The building these days is really peaceful. You couldn't wish for a quieter place. Yes, the neighborhood is not the best, but that's no fault of the management and it has also definitely gotten better over the years. We're here to stay for many more years to come. read more

I love my apartment, it's so cute and in a fun area! The property manager Rose is AMAZING, if I could give her more than 5 stars I would!! I moved here from out of state and this is my first apartment ever. Rose was so patient with me and even helped me fill out my application. She texted me with updates, let me know when she emailed paper work, and was available for any questions I had. I am so happy to be living here, the energy is great! read more

Been living in La Ventana for three years and thoroughly enjoy it! The building manager, Rose, is the best. I absolutely love living here! Not only am I paying a very fair rate (which includes 2 covered parking spaces for me and my roommate, $1 Landry on site, and central air + heat), I also have awesome neighbors and my landlord, Rose, is a sweetheart and very understandable! Probably staying here for a while considering I'm in the heart of Hollywood, but tucked away in a corner so there's always street parking for visitors and no traffic on my immediate cross streets. read more

La Ventana - View from my living room almost every night - Apartments Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Have been living here for a little over a week now and love the building. It is located on the border of Hollywood and West Hollywood in an area that is tucked away from all of the bustle while being only a stone's throw from Santa Monica Blvd and all of the shops and restaurants. The building itself is quiet and full on long-time residents. It is mostly working professionals (30s-40s). The apartments are spacious and rent is a downright bargain. The building manager Rose is super nice and accommodating and goes out of her way to make sure your needs are met including working on weekends if you need something. Highly recommend this place and wish I found it earlier. read more

Living at La Ventana has been the best choice I've made in LA!!!! Also, I can see the Hollywood sign from my patio - so cool! My prior living situation became unsafe (I had to move within 24 hours) and I am so thankful for the property manager, Rose. Rose is outstanding! She is accommodating, and extremely efficient. She was very patient in explaining the terms of the lease and answering any questions about the building, which made the process painless! The building itself is fantastic, very quiet. I have a one bedroom and it is so spacious that I could even fit a roommate in the future. Couldn't have asked for a better place to call home! read more

I've lived here for 4 months and have been impressed. As a first time living alone its such a great beautiful studio with hardwood floors and great A/C Calm quiet building with respectful neighbors nice views and great sunshine. A slice of zen in the city The property manager Rose is professional, kind, responsive, and organized She made sure I had a full functioning stove before I moved in and when the garbage disposal went out, she made sure it was fixed within 2 days! Phenomenal and kind I've met some of the neighbors as well (1 who stayed for 9 years) who had all positive things to say Critique is hallways could definitely use updating and the jacuzzis aren't usable/heated; but the units, property manager, location, space, and price are definitely worth it read more

I have lived at Ventana Apartments over 3 years and just want to say what a joy it has been. The onsite apartment manager, Rose, is FANTASTIC. She is the gold standard of apartment managers (she could teach the course on apartment managing). All apartments (I believe) have recently been renovated and any minor issues are quickly taken care of by Rose and her staff of professionals. Common areas are kept clean and comfortable. The building is secure with an easy-to-use entrance intercom. The property is close to the center of Hollywood and all the attractions. Major retailers such as Best Buy, Target, Walgreens, Ralphs and Chase Bank (in addition to others) are but a short walk away. At the same time, it is far enough off the heavily travelled streets to be quiet and enjoyable. The garage is equipped with electric vehicle charging stations and the easily accessible laundry room is up-to-date with wireless payment technology for those who wish to use it. If I could give this property and Rose more than 5 stars I would. Thank You Rose for a wonderful place to live. read more

My partner and I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Rose. She was attentive, personable, and most of all efficient. The process of applying for places can be so daunting and just hard, so it was refreshing to work with Rose and have someone be so kind through the process. Didn't move into the building, but I still wanted to make sure we gave Rose her props for the awesome job! Thanks! read more

Lived there for a year, our property manager Rose was incredibly kind and receptive making for a great year in Hollywood.

The apartments themselves are nice but the hallways need work. The moldy carpet and yucky purple paint would take this place from average to great. The walls are paper thin. Like no joke. I can hear my neighbors phone when it's on silent mode, buzzing....and that's just the beginning. There's no sense of privacy. Despite being in Hollywood, the area is fairly nice and safe. I've never had any problems but wouldn't recommend roaming the streets at night alone regardless of your gender. The landlord is attentive and responsive. It's a great "transition" place! read more

I finally found my new home and I am super excited to get out of my old place! My apartment is super nice and freshly cleaned and painted, fireplace, great views and just perfect for me. I can not Thank Rose enough, I feel she went above and beyond the call of duty and the couple of times I was fortunate enough to meet with Rose, I can tell and feel she is as genuine as it gets and will help anyone, anytime, all you have to do is ask and she will whole heartedly! I know I will be happy in my new place and can not wait to get settled in this weekend. They call the cops on tenants because there is a leak in ones apt because of course that is teh appropriate response. Last time there was a leak from a pipe I got forked the bill. They said and I quite steam accumulation. That's the type of slum lords that run this pace. Make yourself a favor.. sooner or later you will need management and they will surly underwhelm as reviews show on all other social networks. What more can I say? Save yourself the headache. read more
