My homegirl has been telling me she knows a lowkey BRONX spot with banging shrimp penne a la vodka. When she mentioned this place I said nahhhhh, no thanks I'm good. Lol boy was I wrong! Food: Penne A La Vodka, I give it a solid 4:5. It was a HUGE portion. We split it and my plate was very filling. Sauce was creamy. They added peas which I love in any vodka seafood offering. Also came with a salad. Got bread on the side because Carbs is Life. Someone next to us ordered chicken nachos which looked amazing as well and a nice portion too! Drinks: I lowkey think it was happy hour prices but we were there from 6pm-9pm. Anyways paid $9 for Three Yuenglings. Mojitos however were $8 a pop. Came here on a crawl down East Tremont. The owners were really good people. Their taps were semi-fresh. Only let-down was that they didn't have a Guinness Tap. Oh well. I ordered some wings, some fries and my friend ordered a chicken sandwich. They were all good. The food was also priced very reasonably. I didn't know bar bathrooms could be so damn clean. Good job on that. They seem to appear pretty small but it expands pretty deep into the back. No pun intended. I liked it. I felt like it is a perfect neighborhood bar. We dropped in to check out the transformation from the old, stuffy Tally Ho. what a difference! There is an artsy feel to the decor. Bright, fresh, clean. Owner Frank is very friendly and gave us a good feeling from the start. The menu is not too big but the items are well selected and the prices are very reasonable. Portions are relative to the prices. My wife is a celiac so we asked about special accommodations for her and he was glad to help. The grilled chicken dish with fresh bruschetta salad that they made up was great. The highlight was the grilled calamari. We got it without the squid ink but with garlic and oil. Fantastic. The sauerkraut balls special were very good, too. Unique and tasty. Great with a cold beer and mustard. The clams casino were also perfect. Big pieces of bacon, too! Wines could be better (large Cavit bottles of pinot grigio and merlot were so so) but it looked like the cocktails were made with care (muddling, chilling, etc.) The specials sounded good, too. Grilled pork chops with cherry peppers, fresh fish. The owner said that he doesn't even have a freezer onsite so everything is fresh. I went to Legendary in 2014 for a birthday party and was surprised by their diverse menu and atmosphere. The food was great (Spanish, Italian and American), the bartender was great and it's not too crowded to have a good time. A couple of months ago, I was in the neighborhood so decided to stop back in. I was shocked to find that Legendary had closed. But I just heard last week that Frank - the original owner - is back to re-open in a couple of weeks. Yee ha! read more

Stopped in on a Friday night for the BBQ Rib special. All I can say is WOW! The ribs were super tender and flavorful. Huge portion of ribs came with mac and cheese and veggies. Service was great we had Mary Lou who was pleasant and friendly. The dinning room was super clean and so is the rest room. Cocktails up front in the Bar with Frank is a must with a great atmosphere and honest drinks. The prices are very reasonable and the menu has allot to choose from. I'm with the other reviewers on this one. This place is very nice. The digs are clean, the food is great (and reasonably priced), and the staff is friendly. You can call ahead and have your order ready, and they even deliver! It's great to have a nice burger joint in the neighborhood that delivers (other than Crosstown Diner which is a bit more expensive). I think they've even installed a Guinness tap recently (which counts as bonus points in my book, too)! The only place where I disagree with the Sajid: I'm not a big fan of the wings, they could have used a bit more sauce. The Legendary burger on the other hand, was incredible and I highly recommend it! read more

They have a latin menu and a regular menu, both which are delicious.The Pastalillos and nachos are out of this world. Even the pasta is delicious! It's a great Monday Night Football spot with all the tvs, amazing bartenders and great wings. They have the best and nicest owners in all of the Bronx, they always make you feel like your apart of the Legendary Family. They have a room in the back you can book for parties which is very cozy .
