They have a theater you can learn about the process of maple syrup production and also a tasting so you can learn different types of maple syrup available and taste the difference. We walked around the premise and watch the video at the theater and shopped at the store for maple goods and maple syrups. At the end we got a small maple creemee to share. They also have a nice play area and seats outside so there were kids and family playing around. Service was good and it's nice that they let you try the maple syrups. What the hell is a creemee? Well, my dear friends, a creemee is what other states and other non-Vermont people (we'll leave the Woodchucks & Flatlanders debate for another time) call soft serve. It really feels so wrong for me to say soft serve having grown up knowing that was the give away that someone was from out of state. Now, we all know that Vermont is known for their maple products. It's a natural progression from maple syrup to a maple creemee, but I recommend going to Bragg Farm or Morse Farm for one of those bad babies. Here at the Dairy Creme, you can still get a maple creemee, but they have soooooooo many other ice cream creations, concoctions, and choices for you to try. And YES! THERE ARE DAIRY-FREE OPTIONS FOR THOSE OF US WHO CANNOT HAVE THE MILK! That being said, I often don't care about my body when ice cream or cheese is involved and you can spot me picking dairy-filled options most of the time.
