SCAM ARTISTS. Do yourself a favor and Google the VIN Number on the vehicle your interested in. Check out the auction site they bought it from. Most vehicles are previously totaled and somehow retained a clear title. My Silverado I bought there has severe frame damage. I payed almost $34000 for a totaled vehicle. Body shop stopped the estimate at $29000 worth of damage because it was beyond totaled. We had a settlement for them to buy it back which the dealership backed out of. Arbitration is mandatory in the contract. They refuse to respond. RUN! Do not buy from here. I will be posting anywhere i can find about this. Its just not right. read more

We looked everywhere for what we called the unicorn.. the perfect van for us the 2023 white...Chrysler Pacifica Limited that had everything that we wanted in it.. And then we came across ..Wess .. From Legend Motors. The most kind, helpful human being that we ran into throughout our car search. Every other place we called wouldn't leave us alone. They hounded us. They texted us at 2 o'clock in the morning. They did the strangest things, and it only turned us away from them... But not Wess. Wess waited for us to give a call to him. He waited whenever we had questions. He never called with suggestions to do anything other than what we had said we were going to do. And when we told him we were interested in one of the vans on the lot, he made sure that everything went smoothly for us to be able to look at van... It And might I add that this van was priced so fairly that it was almost unbelievable.. we were able to Make sure that that 2023 white Chrysler Pacifica Limited became ours.. because it was that unicorn we we're looking for... And then Legend Motors let us put a small yeah REFUNDABLE down payment to hold it for a few days so that we could come down in a few days when we knew we'd have the money To pay it off. So there was no worries about losing that vehicle that we really super wanted. It's been approximately three weeks and so far the van is absolutely beautiful. We love it completely and we couldn't have asked for a better company to help us out.. oh, and let's not forget the financial guy Jason... he too was absolutely a doll as everyone else we came in contact with at the dealership. Legend Motors - Getting her keys right before we drive away - Car Dealers Near Me - Ferndale, Michigan

My husband's vehicle was struck in a collision on the passenger front end, and we chose Legends for the repair based off the high reviews found online. We were initially quoted for repairs to take 3 weeks' time. It took nearly 2 months to receive the vehicle back. Meanwhile, communication was extremely limited. On numerous occasions we had to call them for an update after being told they would reach out on a particular day. Once we finally received the vehicle, we noticed that driving in it sounded like sitting in a wind tunnel. There is a loud rush of air coming from the passenger side door. This was not the case prior to the accident. Additionally, the tire they replaced as part of the repair was not registering to the vehicle's pressure sensor. We have our trusted mechanic take a look. They forgot to put on a sensor, which the mechanic was able to repair easily. As for the noise, the mechanic stated that likely the pillar was misaligned due to the accident and the body shop would need to fix it. Upon calling to complain, the collision manager offered to replace the weather strip on the door where the noise was coming from. Fine. Another 2 weeks go by before we hear back from them. Around this time, the front passenger blinker goes out. We assume it is the bulb since this is the same area of the major repair that was just performed. Nope! Mechanic confirms the wiring was damaged and the body shop that had our vehicle for 2 months failed to notice and repair it. Finally, they call regarding the weather strip they offered to replace. The part isn't in, but it should be by Friday, so we set up an appointment for Tuesday. I let them know that there is an issue with the blinker that needs repaired as well. So we drop the vehicle off Tuesday, being assured we would have the vehicle back the same day. Late Tuesday afternoon we receive a call that they have to order a part (shocking!) and it would be ready Wednesday. We did not hear back from them until late Thursday afternoon that the vehicle is ready. We go Friday morning to pick up the vehicle. The collision manager is late coming in, and we are told we have to wait for him. The 12 other people working can't help us. Fine. We wait. Long? No. But at this point, they haven't handled any of our concerns professionally, and we are just over it. So we get the vehicle back and my husband drives it for about 60 seconds before turning around. The wind tunnel noise is not addressed. The collision manager insists that this is because the vehicle is a Jeep Wrangler. However, the noise was not present prior to the accident. We go back and forth with the collision manager on this topic, during which time he stated that we "made" him replace the weather strip. We did not. We never mentioned the weather strip. We asked him to fix the noise that was likely caused by the pillar being misaligned from the accident. He keeps insisting that he never touched the door. Maybe that's the problem? I'm not a car expert by any means, but if it didn't make that noise before the accident and it does now, likely the accident was the cause. I have to assure him that I do not think he caused the noise, but that something that needs repaired is still not completed. So he goes and test drives the vehicle with us. Hears the noise and tells us now it's the roof. So we pull the vehicle around to their garage. He blows pressurized air into the vehicle and repeatedly tells us he can feel it. I ask where. He won't show me. I place my hand all around the roof area he is blowing air and feel nothing. He insists that is where the noise is coming from. His source? He googled it. Standing in front of us. Because Jeep Wrangler's are notorious for air leaks. We ultimately left with a vehicle that still sounds like it's driving down the freeway at 75 with the windows down because he had no freaking clue what else to do. After giving them $13,000, it was no longer in our best interest to continue to do business with them. Trusting them with our vehicle was an enormous mistake that we will NEVER make again. read more

Mike is terrible!! Got a car from them a 1.5 years ago with a dead headlight with a promise of them fixing the wire for the headlights. Lights have gone out at least 6-7 times and they keep changing the bulb instead of fixing the issue like they said. The last time I took it in for the same issue little Mike goes "I don't know what to tell you". Had they not promised to take care of that issue I never would've done business with them. It's an inconvenience to have to go up there so many times and sit and wait to be serviced. read more

This company is extremely unprofessional and just overall unhelpful. I bought my car from Jennifer in November 2023 and I've had to bring it to the shop at least twice EVERY MONTH since I got it. There's always something new that's wrong with it. Mike at the service desk is awful too. He doesn't update you on the status of your car nor does it get worked on when he says. My battery needed a new cord because it was smoking A LOT whenever I'd drive it and he told me he'd order it and call me when it gets there. I waited 3 WEEKS, no phone call. I (as usual) had to call him first and ask if it had arrived, then he lied to me saying "it had just arrived yesterday" (conveniently the day before I called). I dropped my car off Tuesday, March 12th at 10AM, and didn't receive any updates on it. Today, March 13th, I've called 3 times. After the third call Mike told me he STILL hasn't started on my car nor do they have the alternator so they would have to use old/used parts to fix my issue. He told me he'd call and update me before they close, he didn't. I am now going on my third day without my car and am extremely inconvenienced. The car I got runs terribly and it shuts off whenever the auto stop initiates. I've had this same issue since purchasing this car and nothing has been done about it. At this point, I'm ready to get rid of this car immediately. 2/10, would not recommend to a friend. read more

I financed a 2015 Chevy Equinox in December of 2021 from Legend Motors in Ferndale Michigan. The sales person name is Cortez he made me feel welcome. The day I got the truck the check engine light was on and I spoke with the mechanic manager Mike and he told me to bring the truck back the next day and he will take a look at it and repair the problem. Long story short is I've been taking my truck back to Legend Motors every other week since I financed this truck. Not only have I missed three days of work on separate occasions but I also have to pay for transportation back and forth to Legends Motors because I have to leave my truck there hours sometimes days and I'm not being reimbursed for any of that. I have came out of at least $400 alone in transportation fees and missed out on thee days of work 8hrs a day that's 24hrs I've missed out on at 20 dollars and hr. All together that's 880 dollars. I don't have money to waste and my time is valuable. I will not be recommending anyone to Legends Motors if anything I will tell them not to go there. And fyi my truck is there now being looked at because the check engine light is on if I have anymore problems out of this truck I will be turning it back in read more

Wouldn't recommend this dealership to no one. Went in with my 22 yr old son to trade-in my 2010 for something newer. My son found a car that he liked and I used my 2010 as a trade-in that has an outstanding balance on it. They knew this when we sat down to sign papers now they are hesitating to pay off trade-in because they wanted the title first. Was told by finance company that that is not how it works. Now I am being held responsible for 2 car notes because they are failing to send in payoff amount for trade-in. They also went behind my back and made some kind of deal with my son that he would pay them $1800 dollars directly on his own towards the new car that he can't possibly afford.
