I wholeheartedly recommend NW Plumbing Connection Inc. after a recent sewer line repair. We had…read moreraw sewage in our basement and had been unable to use our bathroom or kitchen facilities for a full week. Upon contact with NW Plumbing Connection, Dan P. responded immediately and professionally. He was knowledgeable and extremely calming. He thoroughly investigated and explained what the problem was, where the problem was, cleared the line and provided us with alternatives on how to repair the damage and the costs associated with each level of repair. His communication skills in keeping us informed were exemplary regarding any delays. After his initial investigation and set up, Dan handed the excavation and install work over to Rueben and his team. Rueben's team was courteous and creative in resolving our problems. The area the line break occurred in was a steep terrain, difficult to approach. The winter weather was extremely bad with relentless hard rain, wind and hail. Despite the weather, Rueben's crew worked diligently and completed the job within the time frame originally estimated. Other than the obvious overturned earth work, the crew left my property in better condition than when they approached it. Because of their creative problem solving, the end cost was actually less than originally estimated. Based on this experience, I would not hesitate to recommend N.W. Plumbing Connections.

Tim went under the house in the crawl space and discovered that the Heat-pump installers several years ago had lifted the sloping 2" drain to accommodate their own lines creating a low spot which allowed grease and crud to accumulate. Tim came back out later with materials and replaced the lines to required specifications and fixed it for good! I might add that all the folks there are very friendly. I will use them again, if ever needed. The only minor thing I would add is that if quoted a bid, get it in writing and sign it to protect both you and the company. If it is an hourly quote, you should be fine also, since their prices and service are very reasonable. Service: 5 stars Quality: 5 stars Value: 5 stars

After speaking w/him I made the decision to return the disposal and hire them for the job and buy the disposal from them. When their plumber Tyler showed up we discussed what I was wanting and with his recommendation I decided to remove the disposal altogether. The cost was more than what I thought it would be, but I've also never had to do anything with regards to a disposal before. In the end, to me, it felt worth every penny. The whole experience with At Your Service Plumbing from the first phone call to the last handshake was great. I'm funding that more and more is not always the case, so this was refreshing to say the least. I would definitely use their services again and recommend them to anyone needing plumbing services!

Update on second call! This time Brian came out, if you remember from the first post they had to…read moredescaled our Rinnai tankless water heater. According to Brian and many others, it's the best on the market. So, after the descaling we had low water pressure and we were still getting intermittent hot water and our unit was flashing a code 63. Code 63 means the water flow is low and a few things could be wrong. The number one issue was after descaling the line needed to be cleared from the little catch baskets. They did their part but more gunk from the descaling needed to clear the pipes. So, Brian turned the water off and pulled the little catch baskets again but only one had stuff in it and may have been the problem. But what really was the problem was our shower heads. Brian and Eric recommended we pull the pressure plug from the shower head. While Brian was here he gave great advice on codes for our Rinnai and the quality of water in our area. Our water pressure was much better but we were still getting intermittent hot water. So, following Eric, Brian and YouTunes advice and we pulled the pressure plugs from the shower heard. Now the water flows like the Snoquaimie Falls, hold smokes! But you know what, the water stays hot with no issues!!! So, if you're having this problem pull the shower head first plus and that should fix the problem. The cost for this was $0.00!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I believe other homeowners deserve to know about my…read moreexperience. I hired All-Purpose Plumbing to clear an emergency main sewer backup at my rental property in Tacoma. I manage the property remotely, so I specifically requested documentation of the work and the condition of the line. The technician spent approximately two hours on site and charged me $1,741.01. According to the invoice, the service was to clear the main sewer drain. However, the technician ultimately documented that he was "unable to clear clog." I was told the blockage involved baby wipes and was referred for a costly excavation/repair project. Because the sewer backup remained unresolved, I immediately called another licensed plumbing company for a second opinion. They restored flow shortly afterward and then performed a sewer camera inspection. Based on that inspection, they identified root intrusion as the issue. This differed from what I had been told during the original service call. I contacted All-Purpose Plumbing's management and provided the invoices and the subsequent findings. Rather than resolving my concerns, the discussion focused on defending the original service. I was offered partial refunds, but we were unable to reach an agreement. I ultimately disputed the charge with my credit card issuer. I did not dispute the entire amount because I recognized there was value in the technician traveling to the property and attempting the work. I disputed everything above approximately $165, which I believed was a reasonable amount for the service attempt. After reviewing the documentation I submitted, including invoices and supporting evidence, my credit card issuer ruled in my favor on the disputed amount. Every homeowner can draw their own conclusions, but my experience left me with three recommendations: 1. Ask for photos or video documenting the condition of your line before authorizing expensive repairs whenever possible. 2. Get a second opinion before agreeing to major excavation work. 3. If the initial diagnosis doesn't match later findings, keep all documentation and invoices. Based on my experience, I would not use All-Purpose Plumbing again.

Our single knob tub faucet would not shut off all the way and was dripping a ton. I used Royal Flush to install new water service from the meter to a new construction ADU, and also…read morerough in the plumbing and drain lines. Quite an involved job. Problems started the first day. When connecting to the water meter, they decided to use a sawzall on the copper manifold that was connected to the meter to avoid digging down an extra 6 inches. When the city discovered this, they replaced it with a new one, and billed them for it. They were unfamiliar with ground covers for the underground shut off valves, and took them 3 months to find correct ones. When they were finally installed, they were set above grade of the surrounding grass so a lawn mower would hit them. Not surprising considering the guy showed up without a shovel and was digging with his hands. I had to dig them up and re-set them myself. Severely lacking attention to detail. During rough-in, they broke out the concrete foundation in the wrong location, leaving me with gaping hole in the concrete stem wall, visible in the main entry next to the front door. When asked to repair it, Kendrick (the owner) said that they were unfamiliar with how to patch concrete. No accountability. When installing A supply/drain box for the washing machine, it was installed at 30" above the floor where it would be inaccessible once a washing machine was installed. I asked Kendrick to move it up high enough so it could be accessed once a washer was in place. He said he would, but it never happened, just plain laziness. The drain lines were put under test and passed inspection. But 24 hours later it started leaking in 2 places. When I asked for a follow up test, they sent me a quote for $1700 - just to fill the system with water!REALLY??? When questioned about what happens if it leaks after drywall and cabinets are installed, I was informed their warranty would cover THEIR parts and labor, and I would be responsible for any drywall, cabinets, and flooring damage due to a leak. When they routed vent pipes in the attic, there was no strapping on any of the pipes to support them. The rubber seal in the roof for the vent pipe was cut very poorly and daylight is visible. When this was brought to their attention, they said to have my roofer fix it. Again, poor attention to detail and no accountability. I have repeatedly called and asked them to come back and fix these issues for weeks, but there is always an excuse. Our scheduler left early, our scheduler is out until next week, our phones are giving us trouble, we're too busy. When I hired them, they were able to start the job right away, no scheduler needed, but now all I get is lip service I would not recommend them for installing any fixtures or rough-in work unless you want to finish the job yourself. Clearing a backed up toilet is about all they are qualified for.
