Paul is fantastic! I called Paul for an issue that came up where the fridge was tripping the…read morebreaker at a rental of mine. Paul talked me through how to diagnose the issue over the phone to see if the issue was with the fridge or with the circuit itself. Upon finding out that the issue was with the fridge, Paul advised me to contact an appliance tech instead of charging me to come out in person to do the diagnosis. Finding an honest, ethical contractor is hard. I'm so thankful to have found Paul and look forward to working with him for many years to come. Thanks again Paul!

I am so thankful for Paul! I was having issues with my new fridge and wasn't sure if it was the…read morefridge or the circuitry (my GFCI outlets kept flipping just from plugging the fridge in). I have an older house so it could've been anything... Paul was able to squeeze me in towards the end of the day due to a cancellation, so I can tell that he takes care of new customers just as well as existing. He was so communicative and honest with what he was doing, I actually learned a lot! After a couple hours he deemed that the wiring and circuit to the fridge was just fine and that the issue is probably the fridge itself (which is unfortunate, but at least he didn't have to tear my wall apart!). I will say that the fees were a little more than other electricians I saw, but given the quality, communication, and overall great experience, it's well worth it! I will be using Dependable Electric again whenever I have electrical issues!

I got a random text on my phone for a $50 tune up on my A.C. I hadn't had it serviced in 9 years…read more So I said what the hell and they came and serviced the unit. I told them that my system never kept up on hot days. They offered a bid and I thought they were totally fair on price. So we pulled the trigger. Especially helped to make my mind up as it was around 78 degrees outside the next day and the old system still didn't keep up. They gave me 2 bids and I opted for the more high efficiency bid. Jacob and Aaron arrived at the house to complete the job. My house being 100 years old, it wasn't the easiest and Jacob had to put in the O.T. to get it done. I was still skeptical that it would keep up. But this new system is actually amazing. We've already hit 90 degrees since the install and my thermostat never varied from 72 degrees where I set it. Im 100% satisfied with this company and would absolutely recommend them. Also when Aaron did the electrical, we had a light start blinking. I wasn't sure if it was from the work they did and so I called the company. Aaron came out and fixed my light and it just happened to be a random occurrence not caused by the work being done. That was going above and beyond! Looking forward to staying cool in a hot summer!!!

I was SOOOO impressed with these guys on install over a year ago, and with our 6-month service…read more Now, at over a year, we are being told we need new vents installed, despite them counting vents during install and having a perfectly great airflow on our sixth month service. I feel like I've been a vicitim of a very elaborate bait and switch (combined with the fact that I stupidly decided to do a five-year membership to service our system at no cost so now I'm tied to them). This was THEIR error, not discovered at install or six months, and now I'm out $1500. They never acknowledged their install error. To boot, their GM basically harassed me on text, super unprofessional, berating my husband for hanging up on him after he completely ignored my information on text. He mentioned he would share our text thread on reviews. Cool. Question if it is all there if they do post. Buyer BEWARE. Don't let the sell job catch you...they're slick on the sell and absent on accountability. :-( UPDATE: Another company identified a different problem as the culprit, and identified installation flaws from this company. Please don't use them. They cut corners and are now costing us thousands. This company sold out in October 2025 and it shows. Buyer beware.

Power surge Do Not…read morerecommend Kanon Electric. After the power outage several weeks ago the power surged when it came back on- and we were pretty sure we were missing a GFI somewhere- my husband did several tests- both of us thought we looked at every outlet outside and inside our house. So we decided to go local (few blocks away from our house) . Kanon came out (on the phone call we thought it was $80 to diagnose. After an hour of him trying to sell my husband a membership (our house is only 10 years old) he couldn't fine the problem either. He called his supervisor and they told him to look in certain spots- found 2 GFI's that we missed. So for 2 pressing of buttons they charged us $1100. They had quoted- if you want to call it that, $900- my husband was under the impression that if they needed to get into the walls or do something with the outlets- then ok-$900 . Nope. 2 GFI's. He called to talk to a manager- and he stuck to his guns about the price. That's insane. I will absolutely never use or recommend them to anyone. I talked to a few people after- and they said they wouldn't use them either. I wish I would have known that before we called them. * to the response- I agree- that I don't believe the charges are correct, had he talked to the supervisor earlier- the problem wouldn't have taken minimal time. I don't feel the quote was clear, and again 1 hour was trying to sell a membership. We were not asking for a full refund- but clearly it doesn't matter, and you are correct- we will never use your services or recommend them. I have had 2 great companies reach out if we ever need future service.
