Booked this place all with my wyndham rewards points. Each night was about 22,000 points. So, I basically got a free weekend here. It's a beautiful resort. Massively large, intertwined by a gold course. Multiple resort style rooms to the right. Check in, and their bar and grill and shop and offices are straight down to the end of the road. Check in was relatively easy. Was given incentives to sit in on a time share meeting the following day. Was told there would be non alcoholic drinks and food (turned out to just be candy bars and mints) there. Out room was really big. On the 2nd floor. Each building has 8 rooms. 4 up top, 4 on the bottom. And 4 buildings made up an area. Nice little grass courtyard in the middle. And there were well over 10 areas. So again, a big property. We had a one bedroom resort apt. Including its own kitchen, which had a stove, an oven, a washer and dryer, a dishwasher, sink, toaster, microwave, and full-size fridge. There was bar seating on the kitchen island as well as a full-size dining table, which could easily fit 6. Pull out sofa that becomes a bed, several seating areas in the living room with a nice TV. There's 3 bathroom sinks in this place!! 2 in the master bedroom where the double soak in tub was as well as a private bathroom where the toilet and shower is located. I love the layout!! Also, a nice outdoor seating area too overlooking the parking lot. Here's some of the pros and cons of this place: Pros: 1. I love the room!! 2. Ac/heater unit worked extremely well. 3. 85 degree heated outdoor pool. 4. Gym was pretty nice, used it a couple times 5. Amenities- shuffle board, basketball courts, pickleball tennis, kids area, bbq and grill picnic style area, golf. Just so much to do 6. Floors and walls are sturdy. No creaking or moving or divets. 7. Less than a 15 min drive to downtown. 8. I love the fact that you have the option to buy groceries and prepare it all in the room without having to eat out every night. Cons: 1. There is a time share presentation. They said you have to be there for 90 min. Mines turned out to be 3 hrs. But they were super nice. And I had a great time talking to them. Their definition of food will be made available is mani candy bars and mints. 2. Unfortunately a Karen and Ken (next door) called the front desk on us because we were too loud on our first night. Which put a damper on things. But they checked out the next morning. It was only 1045pm. Like chill...... and we were loud for like 10 min. Calm down Ken and Karen. Front desk lady wasn't too nice about it though..... 3. Phones in the rooms are not functional at all. Took me a good 10 min to figure out how to pick up a call, while it was ringing all loud. 4. Sofa bed and pillows are not comfortable at all. 5. Had to buy some bath salts for the jacuzzi tub. Don't offer a service if you don't have the items to go with it. Minor inconvenience, since Walgreens was 4 min away only. Overall, though, it was a good stay. I liked the resort feel. There's lots to do there. So close to shops and restaurants and downtown.

We (Province Golf Club of Maricopa) came here for the 7th Annual Eddington Invitational Golf Tournament. The staff here were very organized. They had us checked in, assigned us to our carts, briefed us on the rules of today's tournament, and had us tee'd off on time at our designated holes. The course was in pristine shape. Everything was green from the tee boxes to every fairway. I wish I took pics. After the tournament there was a buffet set up in the pavilion. I wasn't too impressed with the selection of food provided. We had a choice of bbq pulled pork ( it was alright), bbq chicken (processed chicken that looked and tasted like microwave chicken slathered in bbq sauce), pork n beans, cole slaw, and cookies. Lemonade (tasted like water) and iced tea were served. Overall, the tournament was a huge success. I didn't win nor place, but it was a nice tournament to thank Mr. Eddington and all of his efforts to coordinate with various local golf courses and schedule our weekly golf outings throughout the year. The five stars were for the golf course itself and the outstanding condition it was in! Until next year; hit'em long and straight!

I was in town to run the nearby Mesa Marathon. I booked a 2 night stay here using Wyndham Reward points. Upon arrival, it was nice to see that they recognized me as a VIP owner. Everyone that I met during check-in were all very nice and friendly. However, I wasn't really given a choice whether or not to attend an owner update. I would appreciate being asked if I want to attend instead of it appearing to be obligatory. The carrot or reward was yet another member's property directory. They sweetened the deal by throwing in a gift card for about one hour of my time. I agreed to it since I wasn't in a rush to go anywhere on Sunday morning. After getting that out of the way, I headed over to my unit. Along the way, I found the golf course, resort grounds, and my assigned unit to be very clean and well maintained. I found everything in my unit to be in good condition and in working order. The only thing missing was a sponge for the kitchen sink. Not a problem since I wasn't planning on doing any cooking for this short trip. Now for the very much unnecessary owner update, it was done on the second floor of the clubhouse. There seemed to have been a disconnect. Perhaps it was because this was a Shell Vacations Club resort. The representative that was assigned to me was given no details about my ownership. He was asking me basic background information until I stopped him to let him know that I was a WorldMark owner at the platinum level. I just didn't want to waste his time as I wasn't at a place to purchase any more WorldMark credits or Club Wyndham points. Oh well, this has to be the worst part of being an owner... these incessant useless owner "updates" where they try to get you to buy more credits or points. If there is an actual update, just tell me about it in an email.

TV wasn't working. All those wires under the TV I had to unscrew and then rescrew them in to get cable to work.

Ok. I am receiving emails and physical mail already from Club Wyndham. Had to do a pre screen optout to stop them from sending me more marketing things- do not call the phone numbers- they ask you for your SS#. Are they kidding me? Tried to call the 855 number left on my review and it rings and then HANGS UP. Do not stay here. Ever. I cannot believe this. I had the absolutely worst stay and now you want to sell me something. Stop.

First of all, it's not in the very best neighborhood unmarked business complex Overall, the grounds have great potential. However, it doesn't seem like they put much effort into the resort to freshen it up. Externally building seem kind of old and like it needs to be painted. A lot of of the lava rock in the beds are shifting and you can see the landscape fabric. There's a lot of dead Brush and trees. But I will say the pool area is very nice. There are too hot tubs and pool with grills around the area as well. Our room, well I think it still has a furniture from the 90s. Like I said we've been owners for a long time and this is the stuff that I remember when we first started visiting different resorts. Everything's a little bit worn. One of our dining room tables is wobbly. Paint is chipping and peeling, tiles are loose, grout in the corners and flooring seems to be missing. When we arrived, multiple outlets were not working, our phone was not working. The kitchen was dirty and the refrigerator still had crumbs and smudges from the prior renters. The bathroom I had a hair and thick conditioner that was stuck on the walls and hardened. They did come and clean, but they still miss stuff. So I had to do my own cleaning. There's no mop in the room. There are no mops anywhere in any of the rooms and every time I've gone to go get one, they don't have one. You have LVP flooring, world marked by Windom put freaking mops in the rooms. People are going to spill. This unit sleeps for, but we didn't have towels for four only for three. I don't think I would come back to this resort. Unless they do some renovation. They can't help the area, but they can help the grounds. You're near where the Dodgers place spring ball, near ASU, about 25 minutes from Scottsdale. They are hiking trails that surround the area. I don't know if the staff is great and helpful. But I asked for laundry detergent. No one brought it. I offered to go get it. They're like we'll bring it and it never happened. But I happen to see housekeeping across the way so I grabbed two from them. When I ask for information it's sort of nonchalant guest service. The travel and leisure education was misleading. They want to present like it's no pressure but they're giving you misinformation. And I called them out on it. But the "educator" said I just tell you what they tell me. Which to me was not a good answer like you need to understand what you're telling guest you cannot tell them that it's a free upgrade when you actually mean well the value you get from the benefit of upgrading is going to be like it is a free upgrade. It is not free And they try to argue that the benefits make it seem that way because there's all these other ways of using the credits and all these other perks. Which is fantastic, but I don't want to spend 30 grand to keep me at the same level. to the next level or 40-50k to get me to the next level. Even though if you have that available in your pocket, the number of credits are spent on this resort for two weeks would've gotten me about five weeks elsewhere. Anyways, don't lie that it's a "free upgrade" in January. Anyhow, if you have an option and you need to stay for a day or two this place will do, but if you really wanna enjoy a beautiful resort head to the Scottsdale location.

All of the other companies that I had spoken with were experienced and knowledgeable, but nothing about those conversations left me excited about partnering or gave me the confidence that they would manage my property with the level of attention and care that I expected. I felt like my house would just be one of the thousands of other properties they manage across the county. They cared more about getting the sale than working with me to develop a tailored strategy for my home. I set up a call with Ellie (Owner) to hear what she had to say and learn more about her approach to luxury vacation rental management. It immediately became clear to me that Ellie knows exactly what it takes to not just do well in a competitive market such as Scottsdale...but how to excel and produce extraordinary results. Ellie provided guidance and what it would take to get my home to appear in the top search results, generate the highest possible nightly rates, provide a full service luxury experience to guests, top reviews, and a management team to support the entire operation so that I can be a completely hands off owner. She backed up everything she said producing reports with 24 months of property performance on all of HomeSlice's existing properties. I not only hired HomeSlice to manage my property, I hired Ellie to do the entire interior design and I am SO happy I did. Her design was incredible and she put 100% of everything I needed for the home in my shopping cart...only thing I had to do was make click "buy". The #1 thing I learned during this entire experience was to not go looking to hire a property management company....look for a partner you trust and one that will produce results. I found that in Ellie and her team at HomeSlice.

Which she says that her neighbor took "multiple videos and photos" of our "house party" of girls in the pool with bikinis on! She never sent the actual video that we can listen to. Just a screenshot. But that pretty creepy of the neighbor to take videos of girls in the pool. So maybe don't use the pool if you stay at her house in phoenix. . Besides that, going back to the house being 86 DEGREES and her not caring or being apologetic at all. It was finally fixed 6:30 pm on Saturday, but it probably took until 8pm to cool from 86 degrees to 73. Not once were we rude to her. We could've been under these circumstances. Sorry your ego is fragile and you're unable to take constructive criticism. A woman of your age, I would expect a bit more professionalism and maturity. House is cute tho! Good job decorating! PS. We don't need your money. Your house with no ac just wasn't worth it. But thanks for the feedback. A budget in or hostel would've probably had better service and AC. Secondly, I found that the sheets on the bed are all flat- (they don't use fitted sheets- and it was troublesome as they didn't stay covering the mattress the whole night. Thankfully I asked for help and housekeeping doubled up on sheets for me. Lastly, I noticed some small rocks in my room upon check in. Needed vacuuming longer. Besides that everything felt very clean and tended too!
