This studio has amazing instructors, fun classes, and a very low price. I have been taking various dance classes all over the county, and this studio might be the best value on my roster. Drop in classes are super cheap, and their unlimited monthly offer is unreal. The owner is so kind, and clearly passionate about building a supportive community for people to grow and bloom. You should try a couple of different classes, but my favorite is Aubrey's 'Turn Up' dance fitness, which is helping me get fit and build confidence. It is a high energy class, but anybody can adapt it to their own capabilities, and have a great time. So much fun!! I always get an amazing workout and have a blast. It's awesome to be able to drop into a class when my schedule allows. Super professional, clean, owner and instructors are amazing dancers and consistently make newcomers feel welcome. They make the beginners class easy to follow and will step it up or add on if everyone is getting it. I love dance. After starting a family I didn't dance much. I wanted to get back into it but did not know where to go for adult classes. When I first started researching I found a lot of tap adult classes but I wanted hip hop type classes. I discover legacy online and came to my first class and was hooked. The atmosphere is so nice and welcoming. The owner Cye is always there with a smile and a great attitude. He even remembered my name. What I like is they record after the classes and you can have video of your progress. I also enrolled my son to take classes as well. He enjoyed it. They offer all types of classes and it has been so fun trying them and picking my favorites which is heels, turn up dance fitness, and hip hop vixen Latin but all the classes are amazing. I would highly recommend this studio it has been such a joy having a positive space to do what I love after all these years! Please try this place out you won't regret it. read more

We cannot say enough great things about this dance studio. Our daughter has been attending the hip hop dance classes here for a couple months and she absolutely loves it. Her teacher is so great with the kids and always makes the classes so fun. They learn new choreography every week, she is always so excited to go and practices her moves all week between classes. We really loved that they offer a free trial class so she was able to check it out before signing up. They also have some of the best customer service we've ever experienced. Cyrus checked in with us to see how our daughter liked the class and made enrolling and paying an absolute breeze. The studio is big and clean and such a fun space. My friend (who goes here regularly) brought me because i wanted to get back into dancing. We went to heels class and right away i felt this amazing vibe coming from all the girls. I have very bad anxiety and i have self harm scars i do not like to show but here the instructor encourages to show your body no matter what. There's small girls, big girls, thick girls and even some men that are there bringing the best energy i could ask for in a dance class. After two classes i know wear shorts and i'm not afraid to show my scars. This is a sexy and exciting dance class that i now go to regularly. read more

I loved my first experience at Legacy! I did the Saturday morning Yoga class and felt totally refreshed afterwards. I do yoga for both the physical and spiritual benefits and Nicole brought both. It's a practice for anyone- there's opportunities to make modifications if you want more or less of a challenge, which I really like. My best friend and I wanted to try taking a dance class but we've been too nervous (since we aren't very coordinated). But the wonderful people at Legacy Creative Arts Studio made us feel really comfortable and continued to offer encouraging words (no matter how much we were messing up!). The owner, Cye, was at the front desk when we arrived and immediately greeted us and introduced himself when we walked in. He is super friendly and even stepped in during class to dance along! For me, first impressions In regards to respect and welcomeness really mean the most to me. I have visited many dance studios in San Diego, with this one being very upbeat, fun, and exciting!
