My husband and I met a friend for dinner. It was busy when we first arrived, about 6:30 on a Friday evening, but we were seated quickly at a table. Our server brought water and asked if we wanted drinks and an app. We ordered the tiny twice baked potatoes. While good in flavor, the portion was small. One bite or two for each of us. My husband got the flatbread, and he said it was tasty, but thankfully our friend shared a couple of ribs with him or he might have gone home hungry. The rib board had a lot of food, and the guys said they were spiced really well. The cornbread was a little dry, but I slathered butter on it and enjoyed it. My salad was big and yummy. Service was quick and attentive. They had enough staff even though it seemed like a steady crowd. By the time we were wrapping up, about 8pm, the tables were thinning out and there were more folks at the bar. It was a comfortable atmosphere for a night out. read more

My biggest suggestion would be that some food quality could be better. Chicken is usually over charred and dry being grilled twice. However, salads are wonderful. Would recommend! read more

Slow service as our waitress was also the bartender. Mediocre food. Ordered the leftcraft salad which was 2oz salmon and 2 shrimp on a bed of romaine lettuce. It had almost no dressing on it and the salmon was fishy. It was $26. Ordered fries from across the road as the menu didn't have any and honestly they were the best part of our meal. Don't let the "gastropub" title or the "oh it just looks like a craft beer tasting room" fool you. They serve outstanding cuisine. The bowls are well-priced for the quality and presentation. The surf and turf bowl offer a nice charred slice of pork belly, two large prawns, three bit size scallops, rice, spinach, cucumber slices, and a zippy carrot/vinegar slaw for $19. The beer selection is on-point. No need to belabor the point. My vegetarian friend had enough options to choose from as well. In a city (Edmonds) that is FINALLY replacing antique shops, banks, and breakfast diners, with fun - unique - and interesting eateries and drink-eries (?), this place should be on your list. Friendly bar staff (I've only sat at the bar), patio seating, "public house" style interior seating with regular tables too, this place is exactly what any great city needs. Had a great experience on a Friday night around 6pm. After deciding not to continue waiting for an outside table (hey, it's Friday at 6pm on a beautiful evening, what did we expect?) we headed inside and took in their beautiful contemporary interior. Nettle pesto flatbread had generous toppings and totally hit the mark, as did their beet salad and Leftcraft Salad with halibut and a couple of tasty blackened shrimp. Service was attentive and friendly, short waits on food, drinks including a spicy take on a Bee's Knees were excellent. No excessive noise. Would definitely return. read more

Food was pretty expensive for portion size and quality. The pulled pork sandwich came on a homemade bun that was unfortunately stale. The potatoes in the potato salad were undercooked so it was crunchy. The chicken pot pie presented nicely, but in terms of flavor it is a bit untraditional with strong mushroom and tarragon flavors. If that's your jam, then it's worth checking out. Overall, the experience wasn't bad. The outdoor seating was nice. The biggest deterrent was price compared to portion size and quality. Love Leftcraft. I've came here about 15 times with friends, family, and occasionally work meetings. The staff is super friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. The food is great and super consistent. Tons of different beverage choices. Their roasted chicken is always awesome! They have great outdoor seating if you'd like to. Which is nice with little kids anyways - we get messy ! read more

This is probably the biggest bummer in Edmonds. The building and atmosphere is great. Service was good too. Food is AWFUL. We have tried 3 times and it literally gets worse each time. Leftcraft (often confused with Lenscraft, smile) Loved my first visit which was three weeks ago as I had Leftcraft salad (Green salad with grilled shrimps and Halibut) which was really good. Then my second visit was rather disappointing. My companion and I ordered the same thing Leftcraft salad and found the greens were wilted and look like they left in refrigerator for some time. I was excited to try this place since it has a cool ambience and is new to Edmonds but was disappointed with our food. The Mediterranean and Beef Kimchi bowls were very overpriced at $18 a piece for not very much food. The Mediterranean bowl was bland and only served with a few strips of chicken. Definitely worth avoiding. The Beef Kimchi was served with 2 beef skewers and the rice bowl had little to almost no flavor. A hard pass on that meal. We just discovered this spot not too far from home and it has been a fantastic way to open ourselves up to eating out again. The food has been spot on both times we've gone and the drink menu is extensive. As someone who can't drink alcohol it's nice that there's a Timber City Ginger Beer (gluten free and low in sugar but high in that awesome ginger burrrrrn) and a root beer (which I can't say I've had). The Leftcraft staff went above and beyond to accommodate a last minute party of ten 18 year olds for a pre-Prom dinner. The teens said their dinners were great - highlighting the bratwurst and chicken sandwich! The staff was patient, helpful, and even gave them separate checks! Thank you for providing amazing customer service on a busy Friday night to our kids who were otherwise headed somewhere with quick service. This was a much more enjoyable dinner experience for them. Over priced for terrible food! I was so excited to try this new place but was very let down by the menu. FIRST: we ordered pretzel knots for our table of 5.... and they bring out a tray with THREE SMALL PRETZEL KNOTS FOR $10!! I'm talking just barely the size of a golf ball. That was the first strike, for a table of 5 they should have mentioned that there were only 3 knots and they weren't even good!! NEXT: I had ordered a grilled cheese which was just so sad. How do you even get grilled cheese wrong!?! There was barely any cheese between thick bread, which was grilled and it was slightly burnt so all I could taste was Burt, not a pleasant experience. Finally, someone at my table got the Cesar salad, which was the worst salad I had ever tried. This place charged WAY to much for barely any food/poorly prepared food. read more

I just left this place chilled to the bone. It's 45 degrees outside and the front door was wide open. Having to sit anywhere near the door was very uncomfortable. 1. I ordered the patty melt. It came on 2 huge rectangular pieces of swirled rye bread and a small round burger in the center. One plus is that it was cooked medium rare as I ordered and the house made potato salad was very good. Another plus was the great carmelized onions on it. For $16 it should also have been grilled on the outside. 2. My husband's burger was slightly over cooked. The rest of it was subpar. We usually judge a place by its burger. No wow factor and overpriced at $14. 3. Drinks- I had the raspberry sage cider. It quenched my thirst but didn't really taste like raspberry or sage. The hubby had a porter that he really liked. Overall impression is the food needs improvement and is way overpriced. I was too cold to really enjoy my meal. I doubt we will be going back. The Covid protections were very good. After an hour our server came to our table and said "hey guys just so you know you have only 30 minutes left", we had finished our meals already, there was NO food, NO drinks on the table, clearly we were waiting on the check at that point. He then disappeared for 10 minutes before we could even ask for our bill- why wouldn't he offer to bring it by when we were clearly done eating? Food portions are tiny and they quite frankly weren't the best. Our party tried the kimchi toast, meat and cheese board, greens salad, burger, and fish sandwich. Overall- everyone thought the food was just subpar and that nothing was worth ordering again plus to be honest we were all still hungry.
