That's what it's marketed as but let me just tell you,a corporate retreat, A client appreciation event, Wedding showers,baby showers would you well to use this venue. I will be using this mansion over and over again. I stayed there both Thursday and Friday night. With this large event coming up I will tell you I was nervous but was so comfortable there that I slept like a baby both nights. That does not happen often. I was secure in that everything was set up properly. All my wishes were met. Everything would be well. I rented a mansion and got oh so much more. As for what the place looks like, it's stunning. It has charm, history and amazing grounds. This event was during a snowfall and it was magical. I can't wait to do something in the spring. The gardens are beyond amazing. She has a great list of people to use for caterers as well as professional services. Seriously could be one stop shopping. I have not used the outdoor tent. I have seen it up. It's beautiful! It does have sides if the weather is not perfect. I was told it can accommodate up to 300. There are seven suites each with their own bath. Most with jetted 2 person tubs. I was told that she will be doing individual rooms over the winter for getaways as well as being able to rent the entire mansion for a day or overnight.

The tables are decorated nicely And the chairs were pretty comfortable. Food was served family style. We had a chicken dish, a steak dish and veggies. All good. The veggies were a little weird because they had cinnamon on it but I enjoyed them. The cocktail hour was in a different space and that was really good. They had a charcuterie board and passed around hors d'oeuvres. My favorite was the beef Wellington and the shrimp cocktail. The tacos were good too. Let me borrow. It was a little salty and the pasta that came with it a little overdone. Dessert was OK. The cake was a little dry. They had a vanilla sundae bar which was fun but I did enjoy the Smore making station that they had. We ended the night leaving with a bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel and it was warm. Not a "Villa" - Expect Rustic…read more We rented the farmhouse, cabins, and bridal suite for a group of 18, expecting the advertised "luxury lakeside penthouse" experience with air conditioning. What we encountered was unacceptable from the moment we arrived. None of the rooms were clean and the buildings are not well maintained. Numerous light bulbs were burned out, the farmhouse freezer did not work, and some of the beds were so broken down that sleeping on the floor may have been more comfortable. No one showed up to check us in. The air conditioning was not working in the farmhouse or cabins, and it failed in the bridal suite the following day. The property was so unbearably hot that we had to spend our first night in a hotel. Two cabins had no electricity when we arrived, and the farmhouse later lost power as well. Even more concerning, my 85-year-old mother fell in a deteriorating shower that had no grab bar. This was not simply an inconvenience. It was a serious safety issue. We contacted the owner repeatedly and when he finally responded to our concerns, his answer was essentially, "Next time, stay somewhere else."

The employees were friendly and checked on us frequently. We did a wine tasting and were impressed with their selection and quality of wines. It's located pretty close to CMAC in Canandaigua and definitely is a farm. Smell of cow manure gives it away lol. They must've expected a big crowd because they had parking attendants and they charge $10 but they give you a token for five dollars off a drink. They have a decent sized stage and very good sound system. There's a big area in front that is for dancers, but with the small crowd we had that was only partially filled. They have some picnic tables available and also a covered area that was for weed growers that had long picnic tables as well. We brought our own folding chairs and sat in them for a while. They have good drink choices there and the food wasn't so bad either. They have barbecue food and fried food. And they make all their sauces on site. Check out my pics of the menus. I split the chicken fingers and fries with my friend. For the band's second set, we went up to the VIP area upstairs which they didn't charge for that night .
