But it's pretty well opened so you can see everything that's going on although there can be columns that can block your view, but it was not a problem. The tables are decorated nicely And the chairs were pretty comfortable. Food was served family style. We had a chicken dish, a steak dish and veggies. All good. The veggies were a little weird because they had cinnamon on it but I enjoyed them. The cocktail hour was in a different space and that was really good. They had a charcuterie board and passed around hors d'oeuvres. My favorite was the beef Wellington and the shrimp cocktail. The tacos were good too. Let me borrow. It was a little salty and the pasta that came with it a little overdone. Dessert was OK. The cake was a little dry. They had a vanilla sundae bar which was fun but I did enjoy the Smore making station that they had. We ended the night leaving with a bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel and it was warm. Those who took it said they enjoyed them. we had over 150 people and never felt crowded in the room. Room to dance without feeling you're on top of each other.

A lot of the times when you go wine tasting, there's only charcuterie options or just cheese, crackers, etc. We had built an appetite for a late lunch and after trying their semi dry riesling a few days before (courtesy of our airbnb host) we knew we had to come check it out. Located in the same street of where we were staying, it was such a find. Thank goodness for Phoenician Grill offering fan faves like a nice charcuterie board or pizza but also their mediterranean forward menu staples like falafel, grape leaves and their delicious spinach hand pies. We ended up ordering the mezze sampler (and did a few substitutions to make sure they fit our vegetarian needs) along with their perfectly crisp za'atar fries. On to the wine. Get this, you can order a 5 flavor wine flight for only $10! Now that's a steal. Of course, you can also order a bottle and share it or split one with a friend. If you're like me that wants to try different things, this is the way to go. All of the wines we tried were delicious, form their pinot to their rose. A crowd favorite was for sure their dry riesling which many of us took home for the road (not the actual road but home lol). Everyone here was so kind and accommodating for our group of 10. We had such an amazing Sunday warming up indoors from the cold. Can't wait to come back in the spring time when it's gorgeous outside and you can enjoy more of their beautiful outdoor space.

Reviewing the hotel and the Stonecutter's restaurant. Hotel:…read morePositives: close proximity to Geneva, especially if you are seeing a show at the Smith Opera House. Beautiful grounds if the weather is good. On Seneca Lake....gorgeous. Wine spigot in the hotel hallway ( limited to one glass per person). We received a coupon for the wine tasting with 10% off of alcohol purchases in the store. The Continental breakfast had a nice assortment of drinks and cold items. Negatives: one word comes to mind...dated. Our room was small with a very limited lake view. The windows haven't been cleaned in a very long time. The television is tiny, like a computer monitor. The spring rod to the curtains kept springing off every time I tried to open or close the drape. The shower is tiny and you can barely turn around. There are few outlets, the only ones I was able to access that worked were in the bathroom ( only one of the double outlet was functional). The carpet in our room appeared to be about thirty years old and worn. This room, called the clay room was advertised on the website to have a queen bed and a refurbished bathroom. The bathroom has not been touched in years and the queen bed turned out to be a full-size bed. Stonecutters: wonderful waitress, who kept our beverages filled and was attentive. My broccoli cheddar soup had negligible cheddar or broccoli. My salad with grilled shrimp was okay. My husband's Cuban sandwich arrived on a stale roll and he thought the fries (weirdly shaped) were reheated. His chili arrived lukewarm. Not a good experience overall. Despite this, the staff are lovely, upbeat and helpful.

Every part of our experience was excellent. The service at check in and check out was nice and efficient. The building and room were in pristine condition, modern and clean. The bed was super comfy. Room was spacious and well appointed. Amenities such as complimentary coffee station and lemon infused water were a plus. The pool and hot tub area is great, especially compared to other similar hotels in the area. The kids had a blast as did the adults! The complimentary breakfast was better than your average continental breakfast and the worker was on top of refilling foods. The price per night was well worth the money. I would definitely return and recommend.

Check in isn't until 3pm but we were able to get our room around 1pm. We got a two queen bed room which was decent sized. Due to covid, no room service or towel changes but we were able to get what we needed at the front desk. Our room had a Keurig coffee maker and small mini fridge. We weren't in the room much but when we were, it was very quiet; didn't here our neighbors or people in the hallways! Service was very friendly and accommodating! When we arrived back late after the wedding, the front desk person offered us water and late check out which we gladly accepted. Breakfast was extensive for hotel breakfast, but your typical holiday inn express breakfast with pancakes, cinnamon buns, eggs and biscuits. A couple of downsides; if you have more than 2 people staying in a room, they charge you for the extra people, even if the room is meant for 4 people! That didn't seem right. The gym was a nice touch but very old. The treadmill was broken while I was there and the elliptical was squeaky, loud and did not seem safe when I tried it out. I was happy to see free weights and mats with a large mirror; this is more than most hotel gyms. The indoor pool area was busy at most hours of the day. Also, if you need to get an Uber back to the hotel late at night, forget it! It takes 15-30 min to get one; just an FYI! Overall, great value for the area! I'd highly recommend staying here if you're in the area!

This was our second visit to FLX table, having dined here during a Finger Lakes visit in 2022…read more During our visit then, we were seated at separate tables that were arranged in the room in a u-shape. I guess this was a post-covid precaution as during this visit we sat at one large table with all dinners booked for our reserved time. It was fine with us, but just something to be aware of. Service upon arrival and throughout the meal was great; we were greeted and sat right away and offered the options of sparkling, still or tap water. Once all guest were sat they explained the farm board (which to me is the best part of the meal- a mix of dips and dippers). The garlic rosemary focaccia and curry butter are the stand outs and we bought some focaccia next door to take home with us at the end of the night. There was a variety of vegetables to dip and bowls of fruit on the table to choose from. They leave the farm board on the table throughout your meal to pick from. They also offered the different wine pairings- we went with the notorious option and were offered to sub in wines from a list provided. We opted to go with the pre-selected options which paired well with all of the dishes. Our menu then included a turo (tuna) dish, a potato dish that I dubbed a fancy loaded potato (roasted and smashed potato with raclette, bacon, etc) which was the standout of the meal. Our main was a roast duck dish with a sprouted lentil salad. Both were good separately but the salad was overly acidic and took a bit away from the duck. We finished with a panacotta which was also good. Overall another excellent meal from start to finish.

The table was set beautifully with such vibrant foods as part of the decor. And the service was prompt, attentive and warm. My only critique is that the sommelier who was conducting the wine pairing option was speaking way too quickly to understand the information about the selected wines. I one million percent will be returning!
