We purchased the wine and dine package - staying three nights and doing two days of wine tours with the man in the van. It was spectacular. Wine tours- were a great experience . We saw 6-7 vineyards each day and did the east side of the lake one day and the west the other! Dario, our driver, was an amazing tour guide and very knowledgeable about the wine and the region! You won't be dissapointed if you book your tours with him! Food- the breakfast at this B&B was out of this world - all made to order unique menu choices!! And then there is the 9 course tapas meal on Saturday night. Chef Andy really out did himself with an international culinary adventure ! In addition to the food at the inn Rossana will give you great recommendations for community restaurants. Inn- very clean and comfortable ! Wine and dine package - highly recommended! Rossana uses this package to spoil her guests with nice surprises through your stay. Owners- Rossana and Andy are such lovely people! We greatly enjoyed chatting with them and their wonderful family! Will most definitely be returning !

Andrew is a trained chef and his breakfasts are off the chart. Guests are given a full menu to order off, and on our visit the breakfast included French-press expresso, baked goods, fresh juices, a fruit course, and an entree. Andrew is a bit bewildered why nobody orders his huevos rancheros (I wish I had), so give it a try when you are there. You can have it straight up or in an omelet. Andrew and Rossana offer an excellent tapas dinner on Saturday night, which is not only a great value but extraordinary in its depth and complexity. My wife and I enjoyed it immensely. We will be back.

Whether you're…read morereading on the back porch to the sound of Lake Cayuga lapping on the shore or you're actively kayaking or swimming or fishing, this is a delightful place to stay. Jim's breakfasts are delicious and Tammy's service with a smile is welcoming and informative. The location was just perfect for taking the winery boat tour which leaves from the dock next door, for visiting fabulous nearby restaurants, for hiking, and for visiting Ithaca/ Cornell/IC. The only change I would make is the next time I'd stay in a room facing the water--not only for the view but also with the hope that the lake breeze would make it fresher smelling. Our room (#1) was spacious, but had a very distinct musty smell that did not dissipate despite our keeping windows open with the overhead fan running and then trying the AC with windows closed. Our friends who stayed in a lake view room did not have the mustiness problem. p.s. I'd also suggest updating the towels and pillows. But, the sheets were really soft!

My husband and I pulled into the driveway and parked in the charming backyard. Walking up, the front porch is just adorable! If it had been warmer, I would have loved to sit out and enjoy the porch. We were greeted immediately by the owner and she gave us a tour and showed us to our room. We stayed in the Ann Eliza suite, the only room with a balcony. It was beautiful when you first walk in. Fluffy comfortable bed and those sheets!! Like heaven to sleep in. Breakfast each day was delicious. As I mentioned, I can be a piggy, so it took all of my willpower to not ask for seconds and thirds! Some of the courses LOOKED so simple and unsuspecting, but once you taste it, you can really appreciate and notice the unique flavors. Enjoy your stay if you decide to go!

We stayed most recently this past weekend and Jill & Rob made our stay perfect. We went for my birthday and upon arrival there was a sweet hand written card and a box of chocolate truffles. Jill also very kindly made our reservations for one of our nights dinners and also gave us so many suggestions for activities to do while in town. Of course the 3 course breakfast is top notch and absolutely delicious. One of our other favorites about the b&b is the private patio connected to the Ann Eliza suite which we stayed in. All in all we had a wonderful getaway and we cannot wait to go back! Thank you Jill & Rob!

A perfect way to sum up a weekend stay at this lovely B&B in Hammondsport, NY. Located just steps away from Keuka Lake, the town of Hammondsport, and a short drive to local wineries in the area, the Blushing Rose is a great place to drop your bags, hang your hat, and get relaxin'. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted by the owners with warm smiles and "make yourself at home" assurance. The first floor has a living room area where there is a guest TV, books, brochures for all the local wineries and attractions, and menus for nearby restaurants. Just upstairs you pass a game room with a table and view of the front yard, to get to the guest area. There are four spacious guest bedrooms at the Blushing Rose, all with queen beds and their own bathroom (I believe one room has a private bathroom just outside the door). I liked the Starlight room with a comfortable lofted queen bed and canopy twirled with white lights that you can turn on and off with a button by the bed. The Starlight room had a seating area with views of the back garden, a closet armoire, and a mirrored dresser to store clothes if needed. Just down the hall is a hospitality area complete with a mini fridge stocked with water, and room to place your new purchases from the local wineries. There is a table stocked full of shampoos and other toiletries that you may have forgot to bring along, as well as an iron and hairdryers. (As a lady, I much appreciated this). When you check-in to the B&B, there is a plate in your room with freshly-baked cookies and other little snacks. When you return at night from dinner and a walk by the lake, there are adirondack chairs that you can lounge in with a burbling fountain and lake view, or you can sit out on the porch that overlooks the sleepy street. AND!-there is another plate of cookies (new varieties) and tea waiting in the dining area for a bedtime snack. I am a cookie fanatic, so I was so terribly happy trying each one of the chocolate chip, ginger sugar and peanut butter cookies waiting for me when I got "home." The organic and home-made breakfasts are also incredible. I always have fun at B&B's because of the creativity that the owners put into their breakfasts. The first breakfast was private, at the dining table, with slices of pumpkin bread pudding, fresh melon with raspberry puree, and a delicious eggs benedict on whole wheat, served on china. There was also orange juice, water, and coffee. Light seaside music plays in the background, reminding you that you are indeed on vacation. The second breakfast, we were joined by our fellow guests at the dining table. Breakfast was a raspberry bread, with a plate of strawberries, banana, kiwi and strawberry cream. Next came what I would describe as a boosted pancake, with berries and 100% natural maple syrup. It was fun to get to know other travelers and swap stories. As mentioned earlier, Marianne and Sam make you feel like you are at home, and breakfast was relaxed, with the conversation free-flowing. After check-out, you are sent home with a care-package and a good sense that you had a vacation.
