Wonderful family ran restaurant. They have the best chicken teriyaki from the sauce, to the texture, and tenderness. Along side is the best cooked steamed rice I have ever had. I always get the combination plate with their homemade gyoza (pork pot stickers), which are also the best I have ever had. And a surprisingly delectable salad with some of the best salad dressings. Sometimes I want a little more and I get the egg rolls which are also homemade and you guessed it, the best I've ever had. From what I see the locals love Lee's and so do I, but most people order carry out which is fine. I strongly encourage you to dine in to experience a very appeasing presentation of the food and wonderful service. Lastly the ambiance is nothing special but that how you know the food is gunna be good... ps. I'm the guy with the white 370z

My husband see's any labeled 'teriyaki', he has to try it out LOL. I will say that this place is very mediocre in MY opinion. We were visiting for a wedding and this was the only place close by that my husband was in the mood for. I had the beef and Gyoza and he had the General chicken. I found the sauce for the beef was super salty and not enough. It was only based on the top and of course how can you go wrong with Gyoza. I think the Gyoza was my favorite part of my dish, besides the shrimp tempura as a appetizer. My husband of course, loved his dish because it was drenched in sauce, but did say that more rice was needed. I liked that the salad was also a side dish with our entree's but those little balls of rice was not enough for the amount of protein that was given to us. We both agreed that this place can be better if they change some things up and less salty. Maybe other customers love it, but those that are trying for the first time may not be able to take down so much sodium in one bite. Other than that, the service was really good and welcoming and I really appreciate that. But spending $50 here was not the take I was expecting here. And like I always say, don't knock it till you try it.

Lees teriyaki is a staple for us. I love that they have a chicken breast option as I don't like dark meat. Their tofu is tasty, however I wish they had a non-fried option. There is plenty of seating. The restaurant is very clean and fresh. The staff is always friendly a quick service even during busy times.

Ordered a hot and spicy chicken teriyaki (which is a 2 star at best) and it looks nothing like the pictures. The dish is literally 1/3 onions, 1/3 carrots and broccoli, and 1/3 chicken. Comes with basic rice that has been sitting around. Not impressed. If you like Teriyaki with onions and veggies you might like it. I prefer classic teriyaki with a stronger flavor and no onions/veggies.

We stopped by this place yesterday for lunch and it was probably the best decision we made that day. We ordered a couple of dishes to share and glad that we did as the portions are pretty generous. The chicken and beef combo had some good flavors with the chicken being moist and not dry (which you get at some places). We also tried the pork fried rice. This fried rice is amazing as there was so much flavor to it. The way that the pork is prepared and then mixed in with the fried rice is just wonderful. The owner mentioned that this was an addition to the old menu and that they have also added some extra items. I definitely see myself coming here to try some of the other items in the menu, especially if it's as good as the stuff I had.

Been here a few times. They knew my name after the first visit. Walked in today and she called me by name the asked me if I wanted a chicken bowl. Portions are large and tasty. They move quick so it's been great to stop after work / before meetings or church events midweek. read more

Eat here often, we are a busy family with sports. The owner is so sweet, helpful and treats her customers with such grace. She knows everyone by name and loves having customers. Got a plate (beef short ribs) here after I found it on yelp and it was good but don't judge the lox's you seen on here like I did cause you will not get the same amount for you money $15 for short ribs and I only count bout 8 pieces. I was disappointed thinking I would get a nice portion and nope! More of a rip off I was still hungry seconds later waste of money... read more

Husband and wife owners of this little place. Wife works the front and she is always very nice and in a great mood. She is very accommodating and always has great suggestions. The complimentary bowl of Miso soup is always very good and hits the spot! I haven't had a dish here that isn't very good. My go to Teriyaki spot in the area. read more

Wow was I impressed! My whole family is in the business so I know what goes on. I usually look for holes in the wall because they offer good food at reasonable prices. This place did NOT disappoint. The soup was hot and light and very tasty. We ordered pork fried rice and the grilled chicken and shrimp. The presentation was beautiful in its simplicity and elegant in the execution. The chicken breast fillets (2) were tender, moist, grilled perfectly and bursting with flavor and while the shrimp was a bit overcooked it was very well done and tasty. The fried rice was fluffy and so tasty, full of big pieces of pork (not tiny cubes) eggs and veggies. Mass food for the price and the owners were WONDERFUL! would recommend this to all and will visit again anytime I am in the mood or in the area. read more

AMAZING. That doesn't even cut it. This place is insanely good teriyaki. The meat is cooked perfectly as well as the rice. And the dressing on the salad is phenomenal. Finally a place that understand to offer a chicken breast teriyaki. I've only ever found one teriyaki place other than this that offers chicken breast teriyaki. At only 8.95 for this dish, I'd happily pay up to 10.95 for this taste and quality. This will definitely be a spot I frequent on my work trips to Portland. read more

I have lived about 1 mile from here for almost 2 years now. Sad how I just discovered it, I would have been several times previous if i seen found it sooner. It is delicious, the chicken teriyaki was crisp and grilled perfectly. The yakisoba is amazing, not too salty and the noodle have the perfect texture. You also get a free bowl of delicious egg drop soup when you sit down. The drinks are in the sliding door fridge so just grab what you want when you go you order. I will definitely be back with the family, the wife kids all approve! read more

Been wanting to try this out for quite awhile based on the great reviews... today was the day! I would give it maybe 3.5 stars, but rounded up. I was interested in trying several dishes.. teriyaki chicken, tempura shrimp and the beef ribs... I was only able to get the chicken and shrimp combo... the ribs are big and are $15... as a meal. I asked if I could get a smaller portion or a sample, which I was willing to pay for... but no dice. The combo was good and plenty of food. The sauce in the chicken was very good.. great balance of sweet and salty. The shrimp was also good. They also gave 2 scoops of steamed rice and a salad (nice and crisp) with a thin mayo like dressing. They also provide egg flower soup complimentary. Ha ha... it was by far the worst egg flower soup I have ever had!! It was basically water with some veggies added. Not good. All in all, the main ingredients were good... I may be back to try those ribs??? read more

Have been going into Lee's Teriyaki since they first opened and thankful such a wonderful place took the place of the sad little Mexican food place that was there. The owners both work there and she is always so sweet and courteous, always asks if there is anything else they can get you. He works back in the kitchen and you rarely see him unless he needs supplies in the storeroom. They both always have a smile for you though. The portions are amazing and if you want your Spicy chicken SPICY, they will make it SPICY!!! Love it!! The prices are VERY reasonable. The Restaurant is clean and not at all cluttered. Bathrooms are always clean and no smells. She actually gets to know you by name and that goes a long way as she will treat you like a friend not just a customer. read more

I review Teriyaki all over the west coast. This IS 5 star teriyaki. Perfect salad dressing. Perfect Chicken. Perfect Rice. And every table has a bottle of teriyaki, sriracha and soy. This is a real teriyaki joint. The owners here should be training every other teriyaki place in oregon how to do it this way. read more

Is just flew in from DC for a conference and saw this place via google maps. I love teriyaki so I figured I would give it a try! From the moment I walked in till I walked out, I was treated with the uttermost respect. Started ou with some soup and then onto the teriyaki plate. The portions are HUGE. Well worth the money! This is about my 4th time here and wanted to say how much I love it. The hostess is welcoming and friendly, same lady each time. Prices are reasonable at $7-9 for most meals, and there's always free water and piping hot Egg Flower soup. I've had the gyoza combo a couple times as well as a couple yakisoba and am always satisfied. just enough portions for this big guy, i don't feel cheated or bloated after a meal :). Plus i live 6 blocks or so away so its just close enough to still walk to. read more

I'm going to start with "A-OK" and see what happens as we get more used to this new place. First, the spicy chicken is truly spicy. Seriously. I can't eat it and I like spicy food. Service was pleasant for our take-out order, they gave me a bowl of the last of their soup for the day while I waited. I ordered basically all of the appetizers as my meal and found them all to be very good. We'll be back. read more

This is mine and my wife's secret spot to go to. Super lowkey, and make great food. Our favorite is the Teriyaki Chicken Breast combo. Its big enough for us to spilt. Highly recommended. read more

It's nicely set up, appears clean, and there's many tables to choose from. Parking is limited but we've never had an issue finding a spot along the side of the building. We've always enjoyed our meals here and we'll be back again when the craving for teriyaki comes on.

There is an additional conveyor belt above the regular one, with a miniature boat that delivers water and orders directly to the booths. Another thing that we thought was very helpful was that the sushi on the belt had signs with the name and ingredients. I hadn't seen that anywhere else before. I am so excited about this place and love the concept. We will definitely be coming back many times. I only wish it was closer to my house!

I moved to Gladstone over the summer and have been to a couple of the places around the neighborhood. Just went in, and the lady at the front was very welcoming and friendly. She greeted me and offered me soup as I waited for my food, which was very good and warm on a cold rainy day. The food was very delicious, the chicken tasted fresh and had a nice grilled char on it. I will be back for sure! And will make sure to bring some friends next time. read more
