The chow mein was good, but the sesame chicken was tasteless and chewy -- I actually had to pull at it just to cut a piece. I also ordered the fried fish, which was okay. What I didn't like, besides the sesame chicken, was that they asked for a tip when paying with a card. A tip? For packaging food I just paid $15 for? No thanks. The food was very poor quality. Now the stemmed vegetables looked ok and tofu but all the meat and rice was bad.

Do not waste your time. The restaurant is filthy. I walked in to order and they were throwing hot water from the woks they cook with onto the greasy kitchen walls. Nothing wrong with cleaning but cleaning while cooking at the same time is crazy. I swear that greasy water got into my soup. My soup was gelatinous. Flys everywhere. This was my first time coming here after initially deciding I didn't like how thick their chow mein was but decided to give it another shot after two years. Not only did I get ignored after asking if they had siracha packets, but after asking a second time and being told no I saw they had the mini chili oil and asked for one but again was ignored and had to ask for it before I left. When I asked for a second one she looked at me impatient and annoyed and said it'll be 25cents. Mind you the sauce is like an inch on all sides. Usually I don't comment or care to leave a review because I'm usually very patient and understanding but if you're already having a hard day, choose the one on San Pablo Ave called Asia Delight. This spot I wanted to root for. Nice enough service, large portion sizes, line moved fast and everything smells good. However, smells can be deceiving. If you're starving, this food will do. I was not starving. I got the 3 appetizers chow mein, sesame chicken and beef with broccoli. Again, huge portion sizes so I was looking forward to it! It tastes off. Like knock off Panda Express is the nicest way I can put it. The meat was chewy in the wrong way with lots more sinew than meat. I like going late because the servings are great, the service is 50/50 but when I call to order the 3 or 4 soup to go because I'm in a hurry and I have a limit amount of time for lunch or to bypass the line they never have it ready!!! Going to CCC to take some whack as general ed that I never finished was never completed without a 5$ stack of lees. 5$ would feed you and a friend. 10/10 would recommend if it was 2010 and I was 17 again with only 5$ to my name. read more

We waited patiently for the person in front of us to complete her order and next thing you know someone who just walked in is being helped. I immediately spoke up and said we were next only about 3 times progressively getting louder. I finally said "Hello! We were next!" The guy/customer finally says "Oh they were next!' I was wondering does everyone in here have cotton in their ears or what?! The server never said a word, greeting or apology. I really can't and shouldn't have spent my money there. It was under $15 for two items but the food is mediocre at best. I know I give great service at my job and I expect it at places where I spend my hard earned cash. This is a solid Chinese food place. Parking in the overall plaza can be tight, however, parking directly in front of the restaurant is always accessible. The prices are super good. Cheap Chinese food. Less than 6 bucks for 3 sides plate. Speedy fast. Loaded my styrofoam box with MOUNDS of food. There's no skimping here! Hunan chicken was super spicy --- super good! Witnessed what I believe to be two health code violations while waiting to be served. First, the cook came over and dumped a huge piile I'd lo mwun on top of the existing supply. Are they not supposed to rotate the food?' Then they had a giant bowl of fried fish just sitting on the counter. Who know how log it had been sitting before she came over, took the old tray out of and dumped the old crumbs of fish in the trash... Tapping the pan on the side of the trash. Not a friendly place to dine. The staff is very gossipy and racist. I went here to eat lunch with my mom and sister, as we were waiting to order I noticed two men who were staff staring and speaking about my mother and I. Then when it came time to pay the cashier was trying to scam my mom who barely speaks english into tipping the amount that she wanted to get. I quickly intervened and chose what I thought she even deserved. She repeatedly started saying "small,small,small" as to indicate I tipped a small amount. I just ignored her. As we were eating a elderly woman of color walked in and they all stared. When she walked out they all started talking about her and laughing while staring at her walking out of the establishment.
