Price: $2.50 each Strawberry cream cheese filling: 8/10 (must try) The cream cheese stuffing was loose but it has a strong strawberry cream cheese flavour, so delightful. The dough was fluffy and the sugar powder-covered outside was too much for me. The peanut powder: 8/10 Strong peanut powder flavour, the dough was heavy but a bit tough You will have to line up from the outside and keep up to the social distancing. The service 10/10: was quickly enough so u don't have to wait for too long read more

This place seems to always have a krazy line and for food reason, the donuts are awesome! I LOVE donuts so for me to say that actually means something. Seattle needs to up their donut game because this place isn't too far away. The line moves super fast don't hesitate to wait!!! read more

I had the honey dip donut (AKA glazed for the Americans), and it was perfectly light, sweet, and fried. 10/10 for that donut alone. I took a star off and left this review just to mention that if you are a fan of yeast donuts, the only options will be honey dip and the long johns, which aren't filled. All the more interesting choices are cake donuts. This would have changed my decision to walk 2 miles to get there. read more

First thing to note is that there will be a lineup so be prepared to stand for a bit. I've heard mixed reviews about the donuts but honestly found them to taste great - if comparing it to a more popular place like krispy kreme they are much less sticky and airy and more firm and dense. The best flavours were the jelly ones but you'll want to order a variety after standing in the line. If you're a tourist like me i'd say it is worth checking out. read more

Ughhhhh I have lived in Vancouver almost my entire life and only have tried Lee's this year! I actually thought this was just a touristy gimmicky place. Boy was I wrong, and boy am I hooked now. Known for their honey dip, it's fantastic. Think Krispy Kreme but more of a homemade taste. Goes down too easily. If they run out, you can still request them but wait as they are made fresh. My favourite though is the old-fashioned glaze, but they don't have these every day. read more

I have had a lot of donuts in my days (And believe me ... I've had A LOT), the honey dip at Lee's Donuts are Vancouver's best! They are soft yet chewy and the glaze is just the right amount of sweetness they keep well so you can buy 6 and save some for later (if it lasts that long) When my relatives from out of town come, I always bring them to Granville island to get some! read more

Ever since David Chang's Netflix show aired this place has been busier than ever. Came here on a Sunday afternoon and the line was out the door. We waited about 15 mins and when we got to the front almost everything was sold out. However we heard we can pre order the next batch of jelly and Bavarian donuts, so we did ! We had to prepaid and come back in 30 mins. Which isn't too bad cause you walk around Granville island. I absolutely love the jelly donut because the ratio is perfect and the texture is so soft and chewy ! Not a fan of the honey or glazed since it's a bit too oily for me. Would def recommend! read more

I come from the land of Krispy Kreme and this may seem crazy to say but the Bavarian cream filled donut may be the best donut that I have ever had! I wish I would've eaten more while there they were so delicious! Wait in the line, by more than you think. You'll thank me later! read more

Let me preface this review by saying that I don't even LIKE donuts. Like seriously, never been a fan. So when my fiance wanted to buy half a dozen, I was like "woah, what are you doing?", but thankfully he did cause they were AMAZING. Safe to say these are my favorite donuts in the whole world as of now. Seriously, AMAZING. We got the honey-dipped, jelly donut, chocolate, apple, and lemon. My favorite were the honey-dipped and jelly donut. The honey-dipped donut was like a Krispy Kreme but WAY better. It was thick but fluffy dough that was chewy with a crispy crunch when you bit into it. I could eat so many of those. The jelly donut was absolutely delicious. Homemade raspberry jam (I could taste it) and sugar crystals made for the best bite. I love that nothing is too sweet in each donut so you can keep on eating! I will be recommending Lee's donut to all my friends whenever they make their way to Vancouver!! read more

Was walking through granville island when my husband spotted someone with a yellow box. He remembered lee's donuts from his childhood and we were off to find the stand. The line was quite long and wrapped around another vendor. The actual wait wasn't bad, about 20 minute or so. They currently aren't taking cash so make sure you have a card. We had the honey dip, raspberry filled and Bavarian. The raspberry filled and Bavarian were both fresh and hot out of the oven and delicious. If the donuts weren't hot I don't think they would be anything special. The honey dip was not hot and I didn't enjoy it very much. You could take them home and microwave for 15 seconds or so. If you have the time and see a fresh batch coming out then the wait is totally worth it. The warm raspberry filled was my favourite and I would wait for that one again. read more

Lee's is a place where you order a donut even if you have already eaten breakfast. I had breakfast at my hotel and wanted to head to Granville Island to walk around in the crisp winter morning. The smell of Lee's sort of wafts into the rest of the booths and stands in the market, so there were more people in line there than anywhere else around. Even as I was awkwardly taking a picture for Yelp, this sweet woman helped me and pointed out which donut selections would be warm. They take USD, if you are just off a plane (like I was) and haven't exchanged it yet. (There is an ATM and an exchange booth across the street, if you need it.) I ordered a small coffee and they told me I could come back for more. So sweet. I love this place. Love it. Love, love, love. Grab a donut. Walk around awhile. Donuts make things better. read more

I have had donuts in so many different places yet this is the best one I have ever come across in United States, India and Canada. Love the sweetness level and freshness. It's just the perfect. I have always hated the donuts which are too sweet. The after taste is always so sweet that you don't taste anything else, no flavor nothing. This donut was low on sweetness and high on freshness. It was so soft. I tried ( listed in the order of my likeness: 1. chocolate crisps 2. Honey dip 3. Raspberry jam filled donut I am definitely gonna try more of these and will update my reviews as I try more flavors in donuts from here. read more

So I must have fallen off the Lee's love train somewhere south of the border maybe at a random Dunkin Donuts outlet in Seattle. Understand that Jamie W. and I came to Granville Market full of heart and desire since we knew we were in a foodie's haven. Appetizing items were laid out on display everywhere. Too-tall meat pies. Shiny produce. When we passed by a whole lotta donuts, how could we resist one or perhaps a dozen? We just got a couple of the Coconut Cream Donuts and a handful of Plain Donut Holes. We parked ourselves on a bench overlooking Burrard Street Bridge and all the water taxis traversing False Creek. Sad to report nothing was astounding despite being fresh out of the fryer. Nothing. The coconut cream was near nonexistent in the center of the donut, and the plain holes were, well, plain. This was my second disappointing donut experience after trying the legendary Daily Dozen at Seattle's Pike Place Market about a month prior. Swear off donuts? Yeah right... Heard this was a mandatory stop when at Granville Island and even late afternoon of 3:30pm on a Saturday this place had a continuous line that moved fast! Clearly marked signs for only accepting debit or credit cards. Even with that we got 3 donuts- honey dip, bavarian which is filled with vanilla custard, and cinnamon (2.25 each). The donuts had some weight to them and were thick but also airy. The bavarian was a favorite for my parents and the honey dip was like a classic thinly glazed with honey, not overly sweet which was nice. Service was fast, efficient, and the workers genuinely seemed happy to be working there! Would definitely come back to try more read more

Aghh, we arrived too late to the spot 0: We arrived 30 minutes before closing; so, bunch were gone. We ordered two donuts - dutch and jelly. Now, my dad has a donut shop here at home - we're a tourist visiting Canada, hello! Definitely, different ingredient is used to make their donuts. Super chewy and flavorful. Despite the fact that these donuts were out for a while, they were not hardened either. Jelly tasted super fresh! Check out my foodie IG @eumsiktography read more

I was gonna just get their famous honey donut. Than a guy front of me who looks to know what's good orders two apple critters, I than asked, "are they good?". He replies, "oh. They are awesome! These are the only thing I get". So I ordered one alongside honey donuts. All I can say is he is right. They are amazing!! I highly recommend honey donuts and apple critters. read more

Having heard some bragging about Lees, we decided to stop by Sunday for a couple donuts. I had to wait in line about 20 mins or so; according to the server at the counter a pretty long wait is common on any weekend with good weather. By the time I made it to the front there appeared to be a smaller selection but there were still about 10 options. I let the employee recommend a couple, and we ended up with a honey dip, a crumble coated cake donut, a black n white cake, and a pumpkin spice...along with 6 donut holes. We enjoyed all the donuts we took home! As with most donuts I can assume Lees are best enjoyed fresh, but even getting ours midday they were tasty. The best part to us was that they had no greasy aftertaste, and they were cooked to perfection. Sure, they aren't really the fancy trendy donuts you can find around cities, but they were perfect for good old fashioned donuts. We will definitely try them again sometime. read more

Came here for first time in 2019 after seeing Seth Rogan and Dave Chang devour the donuts from here on an episode of Ugly Delicious, and I can definitively say that this place is worth the hype! Since then, I've made it a point to stop by at least once during each of my trips up to Vancouver. On weekends there's typically a fairly long line out the door, but I've found it takes no longer than ~20 min. My absolute favorite here is the honeydip, aka what they call their glazed donut. The fluffy-ness of the honeydip donuts here are UNPARALLELED! So light, airy, and perfectly sweet from the glaze. My #2 is definitely the jelly-filled -- the sweet and tangy raspberry jam is straight up addicting! You really can't go wrong with any of the donuts here though. I typically pick up at least a dozen to nom on throughout the week (and yes, even days old donuts from here are freaking delicious). read more

Plenty of flavours with each base fried to perfection, but the lack of icing/toppings left much to be desired. Get any jelly based donut if you decide to shop here. The way the shop is positioned leave newcomers who don't know the flavours a short time to decide. Pricing was a bit on the average to higher end at roughly 12ish for half a dozen. Of the flavours I've tried (-/10): Honey dip (7) - didn't get a fresh batch do i didn't get the classic base melt. But the donut was well fried and the coating was decently spread despite being very light. Chocolate Bavarian (6.5) - Rich and creamy chocolate custard Double Chocolate - (7) - Really nice chocolate base and creamy chocolate topping was good. Oreo (6) - Solid base but the icing/oreo toppings was severely lacking. Blueberry (7) - Jelly was excellent. Raspberry fritter (8) - Curious as to why it was individually priced at $5, but the size of it is spread like a 5" tortilla. Easily the highlight of my batch. Lee's has the best jelly out of all the donut spots I've tried. And if you get here early, apple fritter is definitely thr way to go. read more

Lee's Donuts - Bavarian chocolate. Was too hungry for a proper pic xD - Donuts Near Me - Vancouver, British Columbia

I absolutely loved the texture of their maple iced donut. A little crunchy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside; the maple icing wasn't too sweet either. The regular glazed donut we got was warm so when I bit into it, it was amazing! The donut just melted in my mouth. Mmmm I'm drooling now. Lol. I would NOT recommend the cinnamon. The cinnamon covering was excessive and made the donut feel dry in my mouth. No Bueno. This place is definitely worth a try if you're at Granville Island. Nice and friendly staff as well! Located in Granville Island's public market, this place serves some of the freshest and tastiest donuts in the greater Vancouver area. It's easy to find the place, just look for the long line lol. My favorite donuts are the honey dip which is pretty much the equivalent of the regular glazed donut. I also recommend the Bavarian which I think is their best seller, as well as the butter crunch. I visited here after reading about David Chang's visit. They are good donuts but not necessarily the best. Perhaps I missed out in the raspberry jelly. I am a donut guy. I can't help it! Naturally, I was drawn to this place with its freshly fried doughy fumes blowing into the public market on Granville Island. We went as they were kind of winding down so the choices were a bit limited. We got the glazed donut and it was ridonkular! Kind of a mix between a cake style and yeast style donut, nice thick glaze and toasty warm as it just came out of the fryer and recently glazed. Oh lordy! what a party in the mouth! For the sake of fitting into my pants we didn't over indulge but I probably will next time I am in town! read more

We came at about 11AM on a Saturday and there was, of course, a line among the hustle and bustle of Granville Island. This was misleading because people prioritized lining up vs. taking a number at the front and then waiting to get your number called. There is a clear sign that says take a number. If you wait in the line, by the time you get to the front to pull a number, you're in the back of the actual line the employees are calling for so just go ahead and waltz up to the front and grab that number. We got the honey dip and the vanilla sprinkled cake donut. Both were seriously so delicious. I couldn't stop eating them once I took a bite. We were luckily able to get the honey dip when it was freshly made so it was warm, made perfectly soft, and was glazed the right amount to complement the donut well. Wasn't too sweet. I have a soft spot for vanilla sprinkled cake donuts so I might be biased on this one but Lee's version was probably one of my top 3. I have never had a cake donut that was made so crunchy on the exterior but pillowy soft on the interior. The contrast in textures was PERFECT. read more

5 stars for some of the best donuts in Vancouver. I'm pretty simple to please, especially when it comes to donuts. Give me a good ol' original glazed and call me a happy camper. I could devour some chocolate glazed donuts as well. Luckily, Lee's has some of the yummiest original glazed and choco glazed donuts I've tried. They also have a bunch of different kinds, which are made fresh throughout the day. Lee's is a staple in Vancouver, especially on Granville Island. I can never come into the market and not walk out with at least one Lee's donut. The service is always quick and friendly. Treat yourself (and your friends and family) to a dozen. This is one sweet treat that you won't regret. read more

The donut was definitely really good. Nice sponge like texture. We had the Chocolate cake, honey dipped and raspberry stuffed donuts. I didn't really taste any difference between the honey dipped and a standard glaze donut but the raspberry jam was delicious. Good normal donuts. Have the crazy flavours and the plain ones to please both crowds. Line ups are really excessive but it's probably because of the tourist curiosity mixed with the large number of locals who frequent Granville island. Bit of a wait for a good but not amazing donut. read more

Best donuts in the hood alert !!! First time at Lee's since their renovation, you can't miss this place as there is ALWAYS a line out the door. Not to worry, because the line moves very quickly (I assume it's because everyone knows exactly what they want). My wait was only 10minutes today, and we were lined up outside, all the way to the market's main entrance under the neon sign. I always find myself coming back for their classic jelly donuts ($2.50 each), my default order is one of every jelly donut on their rotation of the day. If the lemon filled donut is available, I highly recommend. Nonetheless, the raspberry ones are equally delicious, which is what I got today. Their donuts are always fresh, has a bit of bounce to it, and not dense to the point that you'll end up feeling groggy afterwards. If you've never been, all trust you've been missing out on the most addicting donuts all these years. read more
