I lived in Ridgewood for 5 years and have not been able to find a tailor that matches, or even…read morecomes close, to the quality of work they do here. The owner is THE nicest person in the area. She really knows what she's doing and I truly miss going to her to get my clothes tailored. Hems always matched and were the straightest hems ever, I took a coat to get the sleeves shortened, she moved the buttons and made it look like the coat was made for me. I like to hold onto my clothes until they are falling apart, so when I took my jeans/ pants to get patched up, I was pleasantly surprised that you couldn't even tell there were holes there at one point. I lived in two different states since leaving NY and tried so many tailors in the process and none have come even remotely close to this place. I know that sounds extreme, but as a short person, that HAS to have clothes tailored to fit the way they're supposed to, having a go-to place like this one is vital. I miss them :( specially when I pick up clothes from a new tailor and it's disappointing.

Each pair of pants I specified that I like them long and all were hemmed above where we had agreed when I initially took them in. None of my pants work now unless I'm wearing them low low low rise. On top do that I took a sheer dress with a detachable lining and I'd only asked for the outside dress to be hemmed. The lining was hemmed so short that my entire butt is out now and you can see through the dress. I'd also asked for the waist to be taken in and you can see the chalk is still there and it was not done. I am so disappointed.
