Came to work here for the day and enjoyed it very much…read more * Friendly staff, (forgot my water bottle and they held it for me to pick up) * Majority of pastries made in house - heard people asking for the strawberry scones but they were out for a few days. Came by a few days later and they were still out and had a blueberry scone instead. (Absolute delish) * breakfast burritos (wish I would've tried) * Drinks were good. Overall, good place to work from, they have regulars and I loved that vibe. Neighborhood coffee shop, nice meet up place, and hang out for a bit as well. :)

The drinks are fantastic, the pastries are great, and the staff is consistently kind and talented. But I'm still baffled by the lack of ceramic "for here" mugs. They clearly have the infrastructure to support them. There's a bussing station ready and waiting, and they make the pastries and cheesy bits in house. You can't tell me they don't have a place to wash a few mugs! Choosing not to offer reusable mugs is costing more than just extra paper cups; it's costing loyal customers like me. I've found myself going elsewhere lately, not because I don't love MeCo, but because even when I remember to bring my own cup, my friends usually don't. It feels wasteful to sit down and try to enjoy coffee in a disposable to-go cup. This feels like a small, one-time investment with a big environmental and customer loyalty return. I truly hope MeCo reconsiders.

Sorry, I cannot recommend this place....and I had hopes it would be tasty…read more We ordered online, and we tried the brioche egg and cheese sandwich and the corned beef muffin. Pro: the egg on the brioche sammy had a yolk which was nice and some sauce (though not evenly spread) and the brioche was solid and the sandwich didn't fall apart. Cons: zero seasoning and uneven spread of sauce Pro: corned beef sammy had a nice egg and the english muffin bread seemed fresh and not stale and the sammy was moist and not dry. Cons: corned beef tasted like it was from a can and not fresh made. It was in crumbly texture and had a preservative flavor that didn't taste that good. Overall not something wanted to taste again. Croissants: cold and stale. Instructions were to reheat in microwave at home. We did, and it was doughy and not good at all. Cinnamon roll: tough dry crust and cold day old flavor that wasn't good Scone: thick, semi ok and not totally dry but again had that day old bakery flavor This place says they drive goods up from denver and don't bake there and it shows. This is not a fresh bakery and I will not be returning If you want to compete in Longmont and make rent, you gotta bring fresh amazing food. We already have many bakeries to choose from and it just takes one bite to know its not fresh. I would rather pay $14 for a breakfast plate with multiple items on it than for one sandwich with no seasoning. Also the online ordering was weird. They had this "egg upcharge" on the order but no extra fee and it made no sense. They also forgot half our order because it was place somewhere else in their system separate from the sandwiches. They also had the same sandwich listed twice but no difference in menu description?? Overall, bad food and weird online ordering experience. Do not recommend.

It was the wee hours of the morning waiting for a relative to get out of day surgery. I searched…read moreonline for a place nearby to get coffee and a treat. I don't know the area. I found this place through a Google search and thought it looked nice so I trekked over. They had just opened so the place was empty except for a small group holding a meeting. It was open and clean. Lots of communal seating. I ordered a Flat White and a Cream Croissant. It was pretty pricey coming to $15 but I really needed a splurge. The flat white was good. Perfect temperature. I was told to microwave the Cream croissant as it just came out of the fridge. That was an impossible feat where I was headed. So I let it sit out for 30 mins before indulging. Although I can't imagine microwaving something that has chantilly cream on it without ruining it. I will say it was pretty good. Just a few minor gripes. The croissant was a bit stale and the Chantilly cream had an oily feel to it so I imagine that they added butter to it. Overall it was an okay experience. Not sure I would go back.

We went to this new business in Longmont for their Chai High Tea and my friend and I really enjoyed…read morethe food a lot. The tea service was generous and very tasty. The business itself is a pay at the counter service, and they bring your tea and food to you. They had many choices outside their fixed menu offerings and I look forward to going back to try their tea. What I liked about this tea service is that once you are sat down, and your choices ordered, its just time to hang out and relax with your friends. There are no other interruptions or check ins, which for me I really liked. Some might wish for more service, but this was really nice to just be uninterrupted to be with the people I came to have tea with. Listen, this is a new growing business that is trying to make it. I don't think they had a huge budget for really nice quality furniture items and I didn't love the quality of the decor or seating, but you know, I really love that this is a young business who is making a unique and original offering in our town and you can tell they are doing their best. I am confident as their business prospers we will see general improvements in decor and furniture. Its a super casual environment with tables close to one another. I would much rather have this, with great quality food and tea, than some over done beautiful place with an expensive tea service that taste horrible or makes me feel ripped off (like the other place I reviewed that we found is now closed!! ....guess we weren't the only ones who didn't like being given small portions for ungodly prices) I really recommend anyone to come to try this place out. The Chai High Tea is a delight and I am sure the other tea offerings are just as great. I look forward to trying them all over time. I would without hesitation recommend this to anyone asking where in Longmont to get a good tea service.
