The place is located in the Loop shopping center with plenty of parking and many stores for some retail therapy. I came here for a pedicure and was disappointed. I paid for the hot stone one which includes the deluxe package meaning: sugar scrub with hot towels and 10 minutes of stone massage on your feet. Well, let me translate that: 4 minutes of him rubbing the stones on my feet and leg (not a real massage) and I was timing the process so when he was done at 4 minutes I did let him know that on the menu said 10 minutes so I made him bring the stones back and finish his "massage" but at the time the stones were cold. Then he proceeded with the sugar scrub which was more like putting the scrub on without scrubbing and then he placed the hot towels on my feet and left it on until it cooled down. Did a mediocre job painting my nails and to the fan area I was seated. No nail dryer was applied so my nails took a long time to dry, so I used my nail dryer nail polish at home. The place is not too clean nor inviting, never again. Price: expensive given the mediocre quality and service. read more

Horrible. I lost a nail four days after getting them done. All I did was take my credit card out of my wallet, and the thumb broke off. He also dropped a nail instrument on the floor picked it up ,and used the same tool on my nails. I also have a mark on one nail from how aggressive he was being. I do not recommend this place. When I asked her about the shape she told me she didn't want to do that shape since it was my natural nails. And Other place have done it. She was not friendly once I asked her about the shape or why I was getting gel and not powder. I really wish she would have told me about the shape when I 1st asked her about it not when she was done. This visit was disappointing I feel that she did what she wanted. I asked for a full set french tip with removal. The little sign they have sets the price for full set acrylic as $45. I was expecting a $5-$10 for nail removal which is totally fine! At the end the total was $105... for a French tip. I asked for the breakdown and she told me it was $15 for a removal (totally fine), $60 for a colored acrylic (she NEVER asked me if I wanted to do colored or regular, just went ahead and did that on her own instead of the regular $45) and the $30 for French tip. $30???? I went with a girlfriend who got a similar style and they charged her $130 for a full set with VERY MINIMAL design flowers. They do their own thing and charge you for things they don't ask you about or go over first with you. And when asking for a breakdown she was very aggressive and condescending when explaining. Yes, I'm a guy but me being one should tempt you more to come to this nail place for all your manicure and pedicure needs. Of course I only get the pedicure mainly because my girlfriend got me into it and it's actually quite relaxing. Usually when we go we get the Signature Pedicure which comes with everything a regular pedicure would plus the parrafin wax and the hot stone massage. The ambiance is very Romanesque and one of the professional aspects of this store is everyone speaks english. It is actually against their policy to speak another language in front of you. I definitely would recommend this at least from a male perspective for people looking for a nice, quiet, relaxing atmosphere with top of the line pampering. Very clean, and very friendly. read more

I came here one time to have acrylics removed (the salon I normally go to on orange blossom was closed) and the woman who did my nails seemed very uninterested after I told her that I just wanted the acrylics removed and nothing else. That alone should have been the sign for me to leave but I was desperate to bet these acrylics off. I should start by mentioning that I normally never do acrylics. Hence why I wanted them taken off so bad. They were just way too long for my liking. Anyway, that's besides the point. So being that I was desperate to get my acrylics off, I googled the next nearest salon to me and got this place. Basically I ended up at this salon to get my acrylics removed and left with the worst experience of my life and completely ruined natural nails. The woman who removed my nails used the edge of a blank nail acrylic to wedge between my real nail and the fake nail to rip off the fake nail. It literally felt like she was ripping my entire finger nail off. She even managed to rip my nail off my skin and made me bleed. It was one of the worst pains of my life. She did not acknowledge that she made me bleed and ask me at any point if she was hurting me. Later that day I explained to my boyfriends mother (who gets acrylics done regularly) what happened and showed her my nails and she was appalled. Apparently what that woman did was simple to cut corners and she completely disregarded the fact that she was ruining my natural nails. I would never recommend for my worst enemy to go to this salon. I really wish I took the name of the nail tech that ruined my nails but unfortunately I didn't. I hope this salon does a better job at training their employees not to cut corners so that they do not ruin another guests nails. Oh haha, I forgot to mention that I was literally the only customer there when she decided to cut all the possible corners. Came in for a repair because I cracked my natural nail way. Hurt a bunch. Had to get it repaired since it got worse as the day passed. The repair only costed my $3 to put on a gel coat to strengthen it and avoid the crack to go further. Nikki was my tech and she did a great job. I ended up getting a mani and pedi as well bc the ambiance was so relaxing and the prices were affordable. They even allowed me to bring in my hairy daughter (doggy) in her bag since she's always calm and collective. I'll definitely return to see Nikki again. read more

I was a walk in to this location for a manicure with clear color. I had to sign a waiver, which is fine, and was immediately sat down. I had a bowl with warm water and soap for my nails, which again, is good. I was asked if I wanted them cut and said yes. Waiting for the, do you want them rounded or squared, he immediately started cutting. One, he cut way too short, two didn't even ask me what I wanted. When it came time to put the lotion and mage the hands, he hardly put any lotion on, to the point where his hand was rubbing the skin rather than feeling the lotion smoothly get rubbed in. He didn't even file the nails. He just cut them, with about two nails getting filed. Definitely will not return and don't recommend. read more

My good friend had a gift card for here and she invited her bridal party to get our nails done with her. We're from West Orlando, so we drove 40 min to get here. I got French tips on both my toes and finger nails and they came out perfect. Only thing was, they chipped the next morning!! I had my friends wedding to attend so I just filled in the empty space and put a clear coat over that. Later that night, another finger chipped!! Wth! They need better non chipping top coats than the ones they used on me. Basically spent $50 for one day worth of nails. I am not the person to complain but this place is very unorganized, low staff and unprofessional. I went in the morning, right at opening where I was seated and told them I wanted SNS. So they gave me colors to picked from, which was only like 15 colors, if anything. so I pick a color and she did my nails.. (I have gotten sns in the past, at a different salon, so I'm familiar at how they are done) after dipping my nails in the powder, she never put my nails under the light. She told me to go sit off to the side and let them dry. I have NEVER had to do this when it comes to sns.. so I was confused. I ended up sitting there for at least an hour, let alone the service was already taking a while, which confused me because I never had to do this long of a process with sns. After sitting there, they were not drying, at all. I knew it wasn't right at all. I explained to someone that was working there that they weren't drying and nothing was done or said to me. So I just paid and walked out. I went back in within 10 mins to try and get my money back, they told me no and the manger took forever to even talk to me. Also I was told it was the "color" I picked??? I left the salon because they told me I couldn't get my money back. After they finally dried, I notice the top coat she put on, left marks and even hours after, look like they want to peel. I also am really confused because since I got this set, my fingers have been extremely dry and have been peeling as well.. HORRIBLE!! This is by far the WORST nail salon ever. The work is poorly done. The people there could care less about the customer. They are rude and unprofessional. Two of my acrylic nails broke off just 2 days after getting them done. I grew a fungus on another nail. Today makes one week since I have got them done and I am missing 3 nails one of which ripped off my real nail (Extremely painful!) and fungus. I always go to CT nails which is also located in the loop, they are absolutely amazing and treat everyone with love and care, I really needed my nails done and I had forgotten to set an appointment with them, they were booked for the rest of the day, so out of desperation I ended up going to Lee nails. This is the first time I have ever been to this location but it is HORRIBLE. I had the most half assed pedicure of my life just now. It looks like my 8 year old niece did it. They cut my nails too short and CROOKED! Then when I asked for just a plain opaque pure white color I was given a very off white color and she didn't even apply it in a clean and accurate way. Extremely SLOPPY. When I had my filling done the gentleman used an opaque white that I originally asked for so I asked if she could use this white, since this is the white I had on my feet when I came in. She redid my toes and they look even more sloppy! I gave up explaining why I didn't like the way they came out. I will NEVER come back to this place again. Just garbage. Upon walking through the door I questioned how anyone could possibly see in that lighting. There isn't any light other than the descending spot lamps from the ceiling to their stations. I wish the location was as bright as the pictures on yelp.It was difficult to select a shade for my polish. I went in for gel polish manicure and a toe color change. I tried this location because the website showed that they had so many options for brands and types of gel polishes. The lady started with my toes and and while filing them she burned my skin from not keeping it only on my nail. On one toe she did actually break the skin. It was done so fast and without care. The result was acceptable but the process was not enjoyable. Now for my nails. I have ridges on my thumbs So she evened them out with the file drill machine and did it to whatever other nails she felt needed it. I'm not sure where the manicure came in to play because she didn't shape them and barely even pushed back my cuticle. She basically just went through the motions and then started applying the gel polish. They didn't have one of the colors I chose from the selections they presented me so I stuck to one. She seemed very rushed and uninterested in my service. I wonder how bad the service is when you don't have an appointment. Again the result was acceptable but what threw me over the edge was that when it came time to pay she told the receptionist the price and services then disappeared. I asked what she charged me for and everything was correct except for an additional $5 she charged me for an acrylic take down. I came in with bare natural nails. I confronted her and told her since she made $5 extra she would receive a small tip and informed her of the tip she would've originally received. I will not be returning to this location. First off, I never write reviews, but I have been so angry about this I have to put it out there for others to see. I have been going to Lee Nails for about 8 or 9 years. Recently this place has gone down hill. The customer service is non existent. They stuck some girl with a major attitude at the front desk and she is useless. When we sat down for our pedicures yesterday, I had to brush off toe nail clipping from my seat. Not only that, but I later find out my boyfriend could see dead skin from the previous pedicure on the sides of the tub and floating in his water. That's repulsive to say the least. I requested the deluxe pedicure for both of us. His was fine...half assed, but fine. My guy didn't do half of what is included. Didn't use the exfoliating scrub, no massage at all, didn't even put lotion on my legs. I can paint my nails on my own, I go for the massage and the extras that come with that specific pedicure. He finishes painting my nails, takes off the hot towels on my legs and walks away without saying anything else. When I went to the front to pay the girls tells me it's $60 for both our pedicures. I explain to her what happened and that I don't think he did the deluxe pedicure on me. Her response was "really? I don't know I just got here." I told her it wasn't fair that I'm paying for something I didn't receive and she just starred at me and said "sorry." Terrible customer service and half assed services. I enjoy using this salon, especially for eyebrow waxing. After moving to St. Cloud, I tried out most of the nail salons for this service and found that they couldn't keep my brows even, one would always be higher than the other. I went back to the Loop because they take their time and I don't have huge red welts from their wax either. I have also gotten pedicures, and manicures (gel and regular) and find the polish lasts longer. Prices are very reasonable and comparable to other nail salons in the area. read more

I told the lady that I hate super thin eyebrows and that I was just there for a clean up and to leave my shape alone however she completely disregarded this and not only made them way to thin she also somehow CUT ME IN THE PROCESS!! I started going to lee nails about 4 months ago just moved here from NY. I have to say the employees that work there are friendly and are ok at what they do. I'm not a picky person so my manicures are always just ok and I'm ok with it. Being that said I got a manicure done in February before my vacation to South America and within two days my nails were peeling I was upset since I couldnt go back as I was already at the airport. When I got back I went to get my nails done and I let the owner/manager know what had happened, let's start by saying she's very unfriendly and started debating me and just kept going Instead of apologizing and letting me know that if it happens again they will gladly fix the problem instead she made it seem like it was my fault. She did say manicure is what I pay for and color is free. I totally understand however she should've not argued with her client instead offer a solution. I told her I wasn't there to get anything free just wanted to let her know for future or maybe nail polish was expired. Even after her horrible customer service I still got my nails done this time a fill in set by her husband/owner whom is not that friendly either but is much more nicer than his wife. He charged me 35 dollars and I accepted to do my nails. Btw he is great with nails and loved his work however after 3 days my nails were chipping although they told me I should get gel so that doesn't happen and I did get gel and still had them chipping in just 3 days. Like I said before I'm not picky and came back. A week later I brought my daughter and also got her nails done. I was at that place like Every two weeks bringing them business. My daughters nails was done by a nice friendly Korean lady and I loved her job and No problems came with her work. A week later I came to redo my fill in with same Korean lady. Again she did an amazing job However this time she was charging me 13 more than what I was charged for the same job last time. I asked her why so high she broke it down while the owner/lady started having an attitude again saying it's plus tax and then I said no my nails were done by him (her husband) and he charged me 35 so the nice Korean lady said I charged you to fix nail and so forth I didn't argue anymore because she did an amazing job but then the rude owner goes and says well next week the owners are raising prices and it won't be the same price with a very bad attitude. Like what she's so rude and I feel like she was going to change prices for me only because it's been problems after problems with her work. So since they don't have prices hung anywhere she's able to say that just to have an I'm the owner and do what I want attitude. She rude unfriendly never smiles or Greets customers. She should let her employees and her man run that place because she going to just run customers away. With than being said I will never step foot in that place again I'm glad they've opened a nail place right around the corner in the same loop mall so it's still convenient for me and close to my house. This is still my favorite nail salon. Everyone is always really friendly, they take their time and always do a good job. A pedicure from here always lasts at least month, even after I trim my nails.
