The issue came when I booked an appointment for both myself and my spouse, however one of the appointments the therapist was not available so they canceled one appointment and kept the other one. They told us they had a one day cancellation policy and we had to take another therapist if we wanted to be able to receive two massage at the same time, otherwise we would have to pay the cancellation fee for the appointment. Next issue, the location is under construction, the AC was not working. The therapist had fans running in both appointment rooms not to mention floor boards were exposed in the waiting room and hallways that were unfinished. The therapist I had Elena had a lot to be desired. She cut the 50 minutes short. It was not the 50 minutes I used my credit for and the pressure was not hard enough even though I had asked for harder. Not to mention this was the first time a ME therapist didn't wait for me at the end and offer a cup of water. Her exact reply"have a good night" without offering a bathroom or water. Would not recommend this location next time I'm in town which is twice a year from California. In CA the location has better therapists and better location standards.

I asked three separate times to see this policy in writing, and no one was able to provide it. If gratuity is mandatory, customers should be clearly informed before their appointment -- not surprised at checkout. Requiring a tip, especially without disclosing it in advance or being able to show the policy in writing, is inappropriate and not the level of customer service I expect from a business I have supported for over a decade.
