No one asked me how the pressure or temperature was nor my friend. I was wincing in pain during the scratching. The shampoo smelled nice and the shoulder massage was very nice. The tech proceeded to finish up and blow dry my hair with very high heat without asking. Once finished, my friend was teary eyed. She had old me they yanked her earring out. We were both distraught and wanted to leave quickly. We went to pay and the lady had the audacity to ask for a tip. We left and when we got to the car we realized it needed medical attention, all that the er could do was saline treat it and prescribe antibiotics. My friend not being a local is leaving tomorrow and wanted a refund for the service. We called and they all acted like they had no idea that the incident had happened asking for pictures and saying they didn't know. The lady hurried us off the phone saying she needed to confirm with the masseuse and called us back saying we needed to file an insurance claim. We asked about our cash being refunded and they said a claim needed to be filed first. Being that she's from out of town we don't have time to wait around for that. The manager called back and said we could come by after 6pm and to update them after the ER visit if they needed to pay any medical bills. It is appreciated but shouldnt have taken four phone calls. This place is very unprofessional and honestly ruined us both on head spas ever again.

It would've been better and more relaxing, as the client, to stay in the room for all services. Understandably, the spa is small and they do their best to ensure comfort despite the necessary merry go round. This is NOT a deterrent from returning by any means but it did catch me off guard. Gratuity is added and given to an each team member. My appointment was scheduled over the phone which allowed me to customize a service included in the package.
