I got a manicure but was disappointed I wasn't given a massage with it. Not even a little bit of lotion added and rubbed in to my hands and arms. That's nearly my favorite part of getting the service done. The prices are affordable, but again, I feel like I spent $21 for a polish change. They have remodeled the space over the last few years but something about the ambiance still needs a bit of a brighten up. It feels stark and dark inside. I was happy to see they were playing nature videos from Netflix. Much more relaxing than a stimulating stream of sports or E news. But I was happy with how my nails turned out. After I asked for a bandaid and I think I heard the gentleman that was also helping me say it's a blister. I'm not too crazy about this salon. I came in for a pedicure, and I've definitely had better. The gentleman that greeted my party and I at the front was very friendly, but the tech that did my pedicure didn't do a wonderful job. The pedicure was rushed and she cut the cuticle on one of my toes, causing it to bleed a bit and some slight stinging throughout the pedicure. The massage was below subpar and very rushed. My toes were either not fully painted or painted very sloppily. I've definitely done a better job doing it myself at home. Not sure I will give this one another try. read more

I walked into Queen Nails and was immediately able to get a seat. I ordered acrylics with gel polish, then asked for almond shape nails with a light pink ombre. The girl assured me she could do the shape and color. I have tried 5 other nail salons in Orlando and no one has done as good of a job as Queen Nails did for me. I HIGHLY recommend Qwen. This place is conveniently located by the Super Target in Hunter's Creek. They have 16 manicure stations and 8 pedicure. The place is clean and you can go at anytime and you won't be waiting long.. After being a customer for over 6+ years today the owner decided not to serve me. Let me explain, I am 20 weeks pregnant and suffer from a medical condition called Hypermesis Gravidarum. Its a horrific disease which causes not only dehydration and constant vomiting, it causes excessive spitting. My request was simple; if they could do my manicure one hand at a time due to my excessive spitting. The owner questioned loudly my condition and then asked why I needed this accommodation. I explained and he still refused to serve me. Not only do I already feel embarrassed about constantly spitting in a towel, he made me feel even worse. I beg woman NOT to attend this salon. Not for me but for woman around the Central Florida area that suffer from this disease and others who are disabled and do not receive the customer service they deserve. The person at the front always looks to a guy to give her the expected wait time. He inevitably says an hour. Every time. One hour. The last three visits would have been shellac, pedicure, and eyebrows. This visit was only for eyebrows. Still an hour wait. Not one person in the waiting room. I give up. I'll never go back again. I have been frequenting Queen Nails for several months with no issues, even brought my daughter in for mani-pedis a few times. However, my last two pedicures were awful. First one, the woman made my big toe bleed. I don't have ingrown nails, I don't know what she was digging for., I was sore for days. The last time, different person, opposite toe. The toe was bleeding so badly that the blood was going on to the towel she had below. She kept putting this blue stuff on to stop the bleeding- didn't help much. She didn't wait till that was over to paint my toes... Needless to say it was the worst polish I've had. When I addressed it up front I was still required to pay and was told to "let them know" if anything happened- that it shouldn't get infected. You gutted my toe- what else could go wrong! read more

I have been going to Queen Nails on and off for almost a decade now. I can only speak of their facial waxing and occasional mani/ pedi, as it's the only services I've used. I've always been treated well, and never felt discriminated against for being Hispanic. Some places only treat white women well, as if they are the only good tippers! There has only been one time I felt rushed, as they had 5+ walk ins waiting, and wanted to service everyone as quickly as possible. They put me in a chair, as opposed to the waxing table, and they waxed a little more than they should have. I request to wait for the table now, just in case. They are all pretty soft spoken and won't generally start to chit chat unless you engage them into it. The nail polish is always in good condition. If I bring a bottle to the owner at the front desk and show him an old polish, he immediately puts it aside to be inspected and replaced, if necessary. I want to bring special attention to Tami (Sp?) who has apparently been there for 6+ years. She is a very sweet woman with gentle hands. I went for a $25 French pedi yesterday, and my nails are nothing short of a work of art! The pedi took somewhere between 35-45 minutes, counting the drying time under the fan. She took her time in providing excellent service, and never once cut too deep into my cuticles or nail bed. I'm sure all of the other ladies are just as wonderful, as the place is always with customers, but I've found my stylist, and highly recommend her! The only reason they don't get five stars is because the warm welcome is lacking. It may be a culture difference, but for this salon to make regulars feel like they are getting to their place of Zen, they have to try to connect with their customers a little better. They'll have happier regulars with a bond to them, and will be able to retain more clients as regulars! read more

The guy that did my nails was done in less than 30 minutes I should have known that his quality was not good from the amount of detail he put in to the work. This review is from a man's perspective. Men have UGLY feet! We should all get pedicures on a regular basis. I am obviously not looking at nail polish colors or how good of a job a nail shop does with fill-ins. I am looking for a place that will fix my feet up so I am not embarrassed when I walk around without wearing socks. They did a nice job with my pedicure. I went with the "deluxe" package and received a very nice and lengthy message on my feet and legs. I walked out of there feeling good about how my feet looked. This is one of the worst nail places in Orlando! My daughter and I went for pedi's, the manager had us sit in the chairs, without water, and said it would be just a minute. After 20 minutes, he comes back and states it will be another 10 or so because the techs are coming from a different store, then he fills the tubs with water, at which time the water spout fell off into the water on both our chairs. The techs finally arrived 15 minutes later and started the pedi's, which were completed in 10 minutes, they were so busy rushing us thru that they never said a word. When we got home, our nails were jagged, heels still rough and cuticles a mess. We will NEVER return to this location, nor any other Queen Nails again! Pedicure was good, polish lasted. But very unhappy with Shellac mani. Used the same brand as usual (CND) but technique was not good. Shellac is chipping and separating from my nails after only one week. Usually lasts for three weeks. I would stick to basic mani pedi services here. read more

Worst customer service EVER! My family and I were in the area from out of town and decided to get a pedicure from here. The woman working the front desk, whom I later found out was the girlfriend of the owners son, was very rude. My niece asked her what the difference was between the $20 pedicure and the $27 pedicure and she said "you can read it" in a very snotty tone. I then asked her if they could layer a white gel polish under a pink polish that I wanted so that the color would pop and she said no that they only do 2 layers. Mind you, my niece, who works at a high end nail spa and does gel exclusively said that is not true and that they just want to save money and not waste the gel polish. Nevertheless, we decided to get regular pedicures anyways since we were already there. The nail techs were so UNSANITARY!! I watched the nail tech dip her hands into the tub of scrubbing lotion after she had rubbed some on my feet. They also reuse their pumice stones...yuk! None of the techs washed the basins when we finished our pedicures either. To top it off my feet looked terrible. I could see uneven strokes in the polish on my toes. I guess you get what you pay for. Next time I will go to Venis Nails instead. read more

Just left their new location by the Walmart on OBT and their business practices have not changed. If you are of darker skin tone expect the worse service. My nails look horrible and I was treated differently compared to the other clients. I will be going to Dr.Phillips to get my nails fixed and to be treated like everyone else. read more

I found this placed by accident when I went to where I normally gedt my nails done and they told ne they were too busy and wouldn't be able to fit me in (it was supposed to be walk-in, no appt needed) It was the Friday before New Years, I had a date and needed my nails done!! I was going to Taarget and saw this place and decided to try it. Even though it was a holiday weekend I only had to wait a few minutes. The girls were extremely nice and professional, and it was reasonably priced. I am very confused by these mixed reviews of Queen Nails. I understand that not every experience is absolutely wonderful and over the moon fantastic but that's no reason to submit a review to shame a business. I have been going to Queen Nail on Town Center for 10+ years and I absolutely love it! Their business has grown and for a while they were very busy and rushed in their services but they still delivered what I needed, expected and paid for. They have always had extremely reasonable prices (I have been to other salons before and paid double what Queen Nail charges for an average or less than average result) and they always deliver a great product. OF COURSE I have had a few experiences of crooked nails or paint chipping or too thin of an eyebrow but obviously mistakes are expected. To say that I can count in one hand the number of times I've been unhappy with the services over the last 10+ years going twice a month says a lot about this place. It is a fantastic nail salon with great employees! read more
