HORRIBLE!!!! Firstly, the customer service is trash! How are you in the beauty business and can't deal or respect customers. My nails are the ugliest nails I've ever had in my life. read more

DON'T GO TO THIS SALON!!! I took my 83 year old disabled mother to Lee Nails and Spa on Mercury Blvd for a pedicure where she was denied service. Like many people her age, her toes are crooked due to various illnesses. The staff was unwilling to give her a simple pedicure - which other salons have had absolutely no problem providing. We explained that her toes can be worked on, it won't cause her pain or discomfort. They flatly refused and told us to get out. Yes, they used those exact words. Not knowing what else to do, I called the police and they did come but said because it was not a criminal matter there was nothing they could do. I will never visit this salon again. They have subjected my mother to deep emotional pain and stress which is not good for her. read more

A half of star..... Very rude and does not listen.... instead of painting my nails with the gel polish she clumps it up there so she does not have to paint the glitter more then twice so my nails are lumpy instead of smooth... just very unprofessional.... I have been going here for years but won't be back these quality of service and professionalism sucks now read more

Literally one of the WORST nail salon experiences I've ever had. I went to get a gel manicure. I left completely dissatisfied. I waited for atleast 20 minutes and the shop was not full. This nail salon does not have enough nail technicians for the amount of customers that come. And then a woman who was clearly a regular walks up to the desk and says she wants gel nails and one of the nail technicians sits her after I had been waiting. He finally sent me to a guy who drank a red bull in the mist of doing my nails. I have never seen gel nails come out so messy and bulky. He filed my nails AFTER they were dry. Terrible terrible experience! Customer service was terrible. Everyone seemed dull and were rushing. read more

Just had my first visit here today. The fellow doing my nails didn't speak to me and I don't know if he spoke English. He continually tapped on me if he wanted me to move my feet or hands instead of speaking. I asked him to trim my toenails and he kind of rolled his eyes. He cut the cuticle on my finger. This visit ended than. read more

Not even deserving of 1star but it won't let me give them no stars. Went here today and the service was absolutely horrible. Manager Nancy was nasty and rude. She was complaining that I was taking too much time while looking for polish. I was looking for the color while she was smoothing down the gel, at the same time my friend was getting her nails done by a guy there and he yanked her hand while getting a manicure and spilled water. No apology was given. Then he hit her hand and said well stop looking around, my friend said to him that was being rude and he yanked her hand again and said well then stop looking around. Manager Nancy did nothing about it. Instead she was yelling to the back of the store telling a worker of hers that he was stupid. The experience continued to be a horrible one. read more

WORST NAIL SALON EVER! I was left with LUMPY UNEVEN, CHUNKS LEFT UNDER MY NAILS, DISGUSTING NAILS! Save your money!!! Large chunks of acrylic were left under my nail bed so everything gets stuck under there and it's disgusting. These pics were next day!!! The gel nail polish wasn't even done to the end of my nailbeds!!! I WOULD NEVER EVER GO HERE AGAIN!!!! BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY! it wasn't even any reason for the ugly rush job because they were not even busy (only had 2 other clients at the time). I hate my nails soooo much, I went to another salon to have them fixed because I don't trust this salon at all anymore!!! read more

RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and they aren't very knowledgeable about the services they provide. Not sure if Nancy is the owner or what, but she should probably find another career because it seems as if it pains her to be there. They will NEVER get another penny from me! read more

I went in to get nails for prom. I picked a color of dip powder and the guy came back and told me they didn't have the one I wanted and showed my two completely different options but I picked the one closest to what I wanted. He was aggressive with dipping my fingers and got offended when I didn't like the design he did. I asked him to take it off and maybe do a gold accent and he said he was done, made me wash my hands and pay. these are NOT prom nails. they are uneven and the dip is bumpy. time to find a new nail salon. read more

I wish I had read the reviews before going. I'm just leaving this shop with my mom and the customer service was horrible. My mom was dissatisfied with the polish on her nails because it was entirely too much polish and they were painting over skin as well. So they finally had someone come to fix them up to make them look decent. However when we checked out and paid my mom told the lady who was checking us out that she just wanted to relay her issues to someone but she was still wasn't truly satisfied but she still intended to pay and the lady told her "you're not my client, it's not my busy. Call the manager" and then handed her a business card with no number to call. Then threw the receipt at her and walked away. I have never experienced such awful customer service. Please save your time and money! read more

I went there to give it a try. My daughter and I were getting pedicures. Every place we have been to sterilizes the utensils. WORSE PLACE EVER!Came in to get my nails done and everything was just peachy...That is until MY NAIL CAME OF THE NEXT DAY! Before the questions come here are the answers 1.No I was not being rough 2.No I didn't take it off 3.It was a Fresh Fulll Set Usually I Don't get upset but what really put the icing on the cake was when I went to get it repaired they we re very rude. They told me that I would have to pay (after it hasn't been 24 Hrs ) Thats when i really became upset ....They told me they would not fix my nail because I had an attitude which is when I decided to leave read more

They charged $30 for a manicure which is already overpriced. The man did a mediocre job. He pointed over my cuticles and once I noticed it the man said it's already been under the light so there's nothing he could do. I didn't feel like arguing with him to redo it. Honestly I could have done better myself. Don't waste your money coming here. read more

Very disappointed. He did a very mediocre job and i will not be coming back. You can tell the majority of their staff is under qualified.

Absolutely worst nail shop in Hampton. I stopped getting my nails done here due to the customer service and the quality fluctuated often. Only was going for my fav eyebrow lady Nancy ! The owner (Nancy) is very rude and nasty. I was so happy Nancy(eyebrow lady) left and got her own shop so I could stop coming to this bad business establishment. Me and a friend went to Lee's nail last Friday. I got a french manicure and pedi, she got a manicure and pedi. Her manicure had french tips. By the time we went to a pool party on Sunday her nails were a mess!! I tried to get her to go back but she said she never wants to go them again. When I picked out the color I wanted for my pedicure the operator told me those colors look a mess. It just so happen those the colors of my outfit for the jazz festival. WHO DOES THAT?? read more

This is the only place I have found in the Hampton Roads that took the time to do a fill correctly so as to not cause lifting after the first couple of days. Max does a superb job at low price. There is typically a long wait so call ahead or make an appointment. The staff is also very direct and to the point. read more

The place was clean and I did not have a problem with the techs or the price about $10 for a males manicure which was cool. The tech didn't cut my cuitical and make me bleed so I loved that, she tried to make small talk as they all do and that is to be expected. My wait was not long but it was a Tuesday night rite before close. I DON'T LIKE TO WAIT. THE PRICES ARE VERY FAIR HERE. read more

Horrible costumer service! Rude and very pushy. I was truly looking forward to this 4 star nails spa but as i'm looking for a nail color a female employee rudely called my attention and made a smart remark in other words rushing me. By the time I picked my color I turn around and she is helping someone else. From the second I walked in to by the time I picked my color was a total of FIVE minutes MAX! This is the second time i've been somewhere that wasn't my usual spot and I again, I regret it. As reviewed in other review, the female is named Angie. Very rude and rushed me. read more

Today's experience was a reminder why I haven't been here in over 15 years. Needed a pedicure bad before work so stopped by because my normal nail tech was booked. Pedicure was super fast, half ass. They didn't add anything special to the water. Massage chair kept stopping. Towels for leg wrap were sooo raggedy. They definitely need to invest in new towels. After 2 tries, towels were finally hot. He massaged my leg for all of 20 seconds. Noone seemed to understand when I asked for cuticle oil. This will definitely be my last visit. Next time I will definitely wait for my normal nail salon. Horrible Horrible Horrible. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

Horrible customer service! I got my nails done and hours later the gel was coming off. I stopped by on my way to work to say I'll be back tomorrow they said ok. The next day I said I wanted a different person and Nancy said I can get the same girl to fix or I would have to pay again for someone else. After going back and forth with Nancy I decided to just wait and have the girl fix them but never again. This was only my second time coming here. First time I got a full by a dude and it was ok. But this time Terrible customer service!!!! read more

This was my second time at Lee Nails and Spa. Walking in this morning I noted their atm was out of order. No problem i have $64 in cash and my bank card. Both times I was attended by Helen. Helen is a very attentive nail technician. Both times I got the honey and milk pedicure. It takes a little longer but so worth it to be attended to and the results are amazing. After 2 and a half weeks my toes still looked amazing but it was time for a nail color change so I went back in today. After my pedicure and then my manicure it was time to pay $80. No problem it was the same amount the last time and the plan was to tip $20 because again Helen deserves it for the service she gives her clients. The problem was their wifi, to charge the bank/credit cards sucks and she was not able to run my card properly. She, not Helen but the "manager", ran it several (4) times. The first time it said chip malfunction. Second time connect failed. Third and fourth time transaction declined. I mean she ran the thing 4 times and security won't allow them at this point to charge it. So checking the cash I had I said I will give you this and go to the bank and take out the remainder in cash. Still my intention was to tip Helen for the amazing service I received despite the confusion at payment time. I was frustrated but not to the point of anger. That is when the "manager" informed me in would have to leave my phone till I came back. So needless to say that was not something I was comfortable doing with all the hacking and identity theft happening. I asked if she was the manager and she replied yes. I asked for the owner and she refused to produce the owner. But then I got accused of not having any money at all. So we were at a stalemate and I sat down and told the "manager" to call the cops. She refused. I can only guess why not. At this point well the calm and serene atmosphere of the spa was now broken with her calling me a bitch with no money. I replied that Helen was very nice but she was just nasty. This made her livid and now some other technicians began to try to resolve the situation by offering to put up the difference till I got back from the bank which was the next shopping center over. She was screaming and they were trying to hold her back. I mean was this person actually going to try to get into a physical altercation with me over $20!? So i put the $60 down, went to my car, and over to the bank. My card was checked and there was no problem and none of the 4 attempts to charge my card went thru. I got the cash I needed went back to the spa and Helen immediately came to me and I gave her the remainder and her tip because she still deserved it for the service i received. But there is no way i will ever return to this salon. If you put this person in charge of your business you are responsible for how they treat your customers. That was uncalled for especially when the problem was tour lack of decent wifi to handle transactions. All the money spent on making the spa beautiful but you can't upgrade your wifi for transactions? Why have an atm if it's broken? My experience was ruined by her the business's lack of ability to handle a bank card. read more

HORRIBLE. I left in tears. I got a younger women to do my nails. I needed a take off and a new set. She starts working on them at 4:40!!! I DONT leave there till 7 something. First time here and my best friend and I decided to get some pedicures and the guy who did mine although he was nice he didn't want to get my hangnails (those who have them know they are killer) the paint job looked non professional. My best friend got gel and her polish was messy as well. As I was waiting for my toes to dry I asked two of the three ladies I seen for some help. The first older lady told me I needed to walk up to the guy who for the record had a new client and tell him to fix my toes. She rolled her eyes and walked away when I told her I wasn't going to just interrupt him with someone new. The second lady comes up to me ask me what's wrong. I tell her and she blames one of the issues one me. Smh talk about having to hold your composure during this whole experience. The guy came to fix. The second lady whom was younger than the first moaned and groaned while walking away and even said "you wanted a manager for that?" Uhh yes I sure do this is me paying for quality services and this is how you treat your customers, this is the quality of work you provide?! Poor customer service to say the least. read more

I will never go to this nail Salon again!!! I went to get a polish change. The elder man with glasses that sits in the front right couldn't understand what I was saying when I was trying to explain to him that he didn't clean my nails (after filing them) before he put the polish on ( which made the polish bubbly). He called another lady over that sits behind him on corner and she didn't understand either and just laughed. The man got frustrated with me and told me to get out of his chair and sit down somewhere else. NEVER AGAIN! And I will be writing this review everywhere I can so everyone knows how "great" your customer service is. read more

This is my second time coming here, the staff were very rude. My two friends and I all received pedicures and steps were skipped and rushed. Towel was placed less than a minute, and received a half/rushed massage. They were not aware of "chrome" polish and gave three different prices for a pedicure with chrome polish "37,47,and 57" . One staff informed me I had to "move" while I was waiting on my friends to finish their pedicure because he had to "clean" . He then threw my shoes near the dryer and informed me I needed to pay now. I paid for my pedicure and he attempted to rush me to sign my receipt. When I asked to speak with the manager due to customer service he laughed and walked away. read more

I stopped coming here after waiting to get my eyelash extensions. It was so long ago but I still remember the manager skipping me and those that came in she would take care of them before me. And I had been a loyal customer for several months. After I said something and nothing was done, I just started going to Anthony's Vinci (I think that's how you spell it). Crazy thing, the owner of Lee Nails is the sister of the nail salon owner I started to go too. They had better service but I heard that owner is rude too. The WORST NAIL SHOP IN THE HISTORY OF NAIL SHOPS....The lady caught an attitude with me after asking us to comeback yesterday (February 13) because the nail tech decided to rush through my nail the day they got them done (February 11) after coming back to get them redo cause she said to come back 8:30 she said the lady that did them left for the day so there's nothing she can do when two different people did the nails... I asked her can the lady that filed them down to do it and she said no so went explained to her what she said she was going to do and she didn't, so we asked for a refund and of-course she said "We can't do that" but still wasn't trying to fix their wrong doing!!! Shake his head in disappointment when u move a little bit while he does ur nail!!!! He did a sloppy and i mean sloppy job on every fingernails i have!
