I moved here a couple months ago and I needed a new place to get my manicures and my pedicures and a place where my kids could also come and enjoy manicure and a pedicure. I love that it is separated from like one side to the other and that they do have a salon in the back, which I don't need, but it is good if they do have that option. Price is good. They're very nice. They do a good job. You're not there all day. You know it's hard to find a place that doesn't use crappy products so I'm overall I'm happy. I love coming there. read more

I've been a loyal customer at Lee Nails and Salon for several years now, and I can honestly say this place has become a second home for my family. My three daughters and I are there every 2-3 weeks. We all have become quite close to everyone there, but especially Kevin, Rose, and Tina! They remember our lives, ask about school and work, and genuinely care about how we're doing. When Vivian moved on to pursue other opportunities, we were sad to see her go, but we still keep in touch because the relationships here run that deep. Went to get my nails dipped for the first time. I was so dissatisfied with the results! Tommy did not even give me a full manicure and just applied the coats of dip to my nails. He filed them down unevenly and he didn't separate the nail from the skin. My nails have the glue product all around the edges of the nail and cuticle. He ruined my nails! read more

It had been about 3 years since I had my nails done. I had moved to Florida before the pandemic and I hadn't gone to a nail salon since I was in ND. Well, today was the day I finally got myself a nail appointment! This salon is very clean and relaxing. It's very spacious and they have calming music playing the background. I don't do acrylic nails, I grow mine out and have the gel polish applied. I also typically have nail art done (because I'm a bit extra like that). The young man who did my gel manicure was super friendly and politely mentioned that he had a variety of nail stickers for me to choose from. (I took it as his way of saying he doesn't do free-hand, which was fine by me since I'm not trying to be picky.) My nails turned out lovely! My mom, who was there with me, got a new set of acrylics and they turned out amazing! Christy (who did mom's acrylics) is super talented in her work! One of the best parts is that at the end of your manicure, they offer paraffin wax for your hands! It's a complimentary add on. The wax is scented lightly and your hands feel so soft long afterwards! For me and my mom it came to a total of $108 (and that was after an 18% tip we gave them) It was way cheaper than what we were used to, so we were thrilled! All in all, I recommend this salon for those looking for a new regular place to go to. read more

Located in Windermere between First Watch and Starbucks, this salon is in a convenient location and is absolutely beautiful! Every detail was considered in the relaxing and glamorous decor to make you feel relaxed and pampered. Upon entering the salon I was stunned with beautiful crystal chandeliers, marble floors, and an all-around tastefully decorated salon. Besides manicures and pedicures they also offer hair styling services. For the mani/pedis you have your choice of gel, dip and regular polishes and they have every color you could want. The salon is large and separated into different sections. The hair and nail areas are brightly lit and clean. The pedicure area is dark, which lends itself to a relaxing setting. And they have the most comfortable pedicure massage chairs I've ever sat in! Television monitors are throughout the salon, but the sound is kept low so it maintains a relaxing environment, but gives you something to watch. Jimmy did my dip manicure and deluxe pedicure and did a great job! I followed him from another salon and this is the third time I've had a manicure with him. His manicures always last longer than any other dip manicure I've had with no chipping or cracking. By far the worst customer service and nails I've ever had. Came in on the 10th to get my hands and toes done. I decided to go with a dip French set to which I left satisfied. Four days later, two nails break off with absolutely no force. Eight days later, another nail. I was out of town and called on my first day back to have them fixed. I was told I could come in anytime and have them Fixed for free. I came in, waited and still wasn't seen so I asked and was told that only the person that did them would fix them for free. I did not remember who fixed them nor did I care. Also, my thumbs already have small cracks so I am expecting them to come off soon as well. I spent $80 on a set that lasted me a few days. My mother, my sister and I have all been coming here for years and never had an issue. I am extremely disappointed and will never be returning again. read more

For the manicure, I picked out a neutral pale pink and explained (when Susan showed me a glittery one) that I needed a neutral color because of work. Well, friends, I'm updating my review because I learned the color she used is GLOW IN THE DARK I know I didn't pick a glow in the dark color because I saw on the ring of sample colors, one section was labeled "glow in the dark" and I was like "nope!" and skipped over it. Such a bad job on my hair cut by Jackie, I instructed her that I want long layers and want 3 inch off the back but as it gets blow dry, it's hard to tell what it will be like until washing and blow drying the hair yourself. It's like chopped up with layers that don't fall in its proper place. It's really disappointing that the hair stylist don't take pride in their work. Will not return ever. 2nd - I had some time before I had to pick up my son from school so I had the pedicure done and the lady does not even see that she missed putting the bottom coat on one foot, I had to remind her and then at the end I am just waiting to see if she will remove the access nail polish that is on my skin at the small toe and tells me it's all done so I asked her what about the nail polish that's on my skin next to the pinky toe nail, she says oh yeah... sorry I did not see, kinda sad if that's what she does all day everyday and don't see the quality of her work. I've tried this place a few times, and I want to like them but..... They have a ton of colors to choose from, but beware colors won't match. I picked a color that looked totally different on my nails because their samples on placed on very white nails which alters the color. First time I went I got SNS/dip and I loved it, lasted forever! I chose Encore based off of convenience, close to home and immediately next to First Watch where I had breakfast plans. The individuals who work here are absolute gems, they accommodated me as a walk in almost immediately and truly did an incredible job. The gentleman doing my pedicure was very thorough and used reflexology to ease tension I didn't even know I had! I moved to Dan for my acrylics, and he was wonderful - meticulous and patient. I don't think anyone has ever been so focused on ensuring the shape and color were even. This was a great experience and I will be back! We decided to try a new nail place by our house, and boy were we disappointed. A 5 year old could do a better job than this. Everything was rushed. The acrylics are way too thick and theres even nail crumbs underneath nails with paint on them. Overall, they botched both of our nails . As you can see in the picture, we are writing this review while we're inside. Both of our nails were painted outside the nails and they didn't bother to fix it. Didn't even try to remove either one of our cuticles. Very disappointing considering it's a new establishment in a great area. Will not be coming back. read more

Do nottttt come here. I came in purely by coincidence as it is next to a Starbucks I stopped at after work. There were advertisements on the back and front windows about free haircuts. I thought oh wow, they do hair too? I'm going on vacation in a couple days and need hair and nails- let me stop in. $124 later, my hair had a lovely blowout done but good lord the cut was nonexistent? Super uneven, no effort put into it, looks the same as when I started. I came in slightly after 5. They close at 8. Around 6:10 a nail tech came up and started rushing the hair stylist and buffing my fingernails. Again- nearly 2 hours til they close. She then rushed through my dip manicure and it is truly so amateur I'm going to get them redone at my usual salon tomorrow. They look horrible. I asked her to correct things multiple times and they still look bad. At 7:15 the entire staff left the salon and they asked me to cash out and what I'd like to tip- mid pedicure!!! So uncomfortable. I understand salon techs make majority of their income off tips and she is super nice so I just said to do 20%. What else am I going to go, have her redo my nails when we're the only people here? I'm sitting here finishing my pedi now hoping she doesn't ask if I like them as I hate confrontation and I 100% would say no. Please don't waste your money!!! read more

I've had both good and bad experiences here. Richard is great for pedicures! Anytime I had someone else the nail technician did a very sloppy job. Then I had to tell the manager only for her to agree with me and have them do it over. They are bad with appointments as I have had appointments and then wind up waiting 20 or more minutes. Walking in I thought it was a nice, clean place. Obviously new. The guy at reception was nice, but that's where the good experience stoped for me. I sat down for a pedicure and the chairs were not very comfortable to me. But the worst part were the gnats that we're flying in my face the whole time, making it impossible to ever relax. I think the girl was new, she seemed unsure of everything and kept leaving to...I have no idea what she was doing, maybe asking questions? Then my sugar scrub and mud mask "15 minutes of massage" as it's written in menu was more like a 3 minute massage...bummer because that's the best part of a pedicure and why I paid extra. In the end my toes did look nice though. My gel manicurist was nice, very gentle. However I chose a deep red and the pigment seemed to settle on the sides, giving a weird effect, like not enough polish was applied to the top of my nail. She put 3 coats on as she acknowledged the issue saying it's because the polish was new, but it didn't help. I told her it was fine, mostly because I needed to go. So overall, toes look good, nails look weird, but the experience overall was not great and will prevent me from returning. read more

Yelp removed my review of this place, so I will write it better to better show my experience. I have been inside this place to purchase a gift certificate and I have also had a manicure here. My previous review mentioned that the owner parks in the handicap spot all the time, he will run in and out to make bank deposits and block handicap spots for those who truly need them. My manicure was ok, the lady cut my nails so short they hurt though. The place was clean and the people were courteous...but the owner is a piece of work. Next time I will take pics of him parking in the handicap spot and post them in an updated review. read more

I want to start off this review saying that this location is currently offering a 50% discount for people who leave a positive Google or Yelp review, and I'm sure it's to hide cases like this. I have been to Encore Nails on a couple occasions & never had a great experience, but today just ruined this place for me forever. I came to get my nails done with my best friend and was immediately disappointed because even upon request to sit next to each other, they seated us with multiple empty seats between us- irritating, but not the end of the world. When choosing nail colors I have to be very specific due to restrictions set by my job, so when I chose a color and it didn't look the same on me as it did on the swatch I was given pushback by the technician. I rearticulated that I had certain guidelines that I needed to adhere to for work, and she dragged the manager over to complain about my specificity. They allowed me to change the color, and when it was applied it looked much brighter than the swatch. She asked if I liked it, and when I responded that it wasn't as muted of a color as it was shown, the technician sassily responded "Honey, I don't make the color" to which I could only respond with a dropped jaw. Without me saying anything, they abruptly had me move to be next to my friend which I was grateful for, but proceeded to rush the service haphazardly. Upon a final inspection of my nails I saw that they were cut incredibly thin on the sides and were almost diagonal down to the squared bottom. The SNS on a couple of nails also looks like there's a bulb on the end of them due to very little effort to file them flat, and there's residual powder on the other side of my hands that still won't come off after washing them multiple times. As I was so upset by the service, I asked if I could speak to the manager, and then found out she was with a client and immediately felt bad for interrupting. However, after expressing my concerns she tried to teach me what a square looks like in regard to my nail shape and I got so overwhelmed I just asked if I could pay so I could leave. The manager then berated me for "having an attitude since coming in" and told me that I couldn't get my nails for free, which I had NO intention of even asking for that. I repeated that I was unhappy and just wanted it to be known and relayed to the appropriate person, and she still treated me horrendously. I'm sure I wasn't the most pleasant customer, especially given the circumstances, but by no means was I rude at any point in time & actually ended up crying when I left due to how I was being treated. I know some people have good experiences here, and that's great! But it's either a hit or a HARD miss, and I for one am never subjecting myself to this place again. read more

guess ill start writing reviews and sharing my opinion here on yelp. recently moved cross country (Frisco Yay Area) to Central Fl, and have used Yelp to find all my "new spots". this salon is nearby my house and i am glad i don't have to go far for my new nail salon! i got a deluxe pedi and it was really nice, my tech was thorough, friendly and did great paint job. the only thing is the pedi seats are not the greatest, little uncomfortable and only does a light massage. but that won't stop me from coming back. thanks Encore and Tina! read more

IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD I want to start this review by saying I created a yelp account just so I could express my anger with this establishment. I first came here in December when it opened and had Tracy. She did a wonderful job and I came back several times after! When I came back for spring break, I was disappointed to hear that they were under new management but decided to give it a try anyways. I had Stephen, and he did a horrible regular mani-pedi. First, he had me take off my own finger nail polish while he started my feet. The entire pedicure was botched- he didn't even cut my cuticles. When it came time to paint my toes, he wasn't going put on base coat- I had to ask. Once he put the base coat on, he continued to paint one entire foot at a time (clear coat, 2 layers of color, and top coat) so that I was left with a thick goopy mess on my toes that never dried right. When he started my fingers, I politely asked him to not cut them so they could stay long and he said ok- then proceeded to cut all of them. On top of this, he did not file any of them, leaving me with extremely sharp nail edges. Not only did these catch and rip throughout the week, THEY WERE SO SHARP THAT THEY CUT MY FACE (see photo below). He also didn't cut my cuticles on my fingers, and almost didn't put base coat on until I reminded him. He tried to paint a hand at a time (like my feet) but I pulled away and did not allow him. My sister had a woman who also gave a horrible mani-pedi. She asked 3 times to cool the water because it was burning her feet and the lady did nothing. She also spent the entire time on her phone or chatting with Stephen. When it came time to pay, her lady automatically added 30% tip and tried to trick my sister into paying it by not telling her she added the tip and just telling her to insert the card. Luckily my sister noticed it and cancelled the transaction so that she could add her own tip. On top of all of this, the lady next to my sister said she had an awful experience because her nail lady didn't like the color she picked out and decided to pick out a new color for her (WTF?). I guess it's safe to say we will never be going to this establishment again. If you go (at your own risk) make sure they don't trick you into tipping 30% on the worst manicure of your life.
