I was greeted by a cheerful young lady who turned out to be the massage therapist assigned to my session. Overall the place was clean and well decorated. There was a very colorful and sparkling clear aquarium complete with fish decorating the entrance lobby. The massage rooms all had doors for privacy. The restroom and massage rooms were clean and well provisioned. The large restroom had a built in shower In the rear area. Annie gave me one of the best two hour table massages I have had lately. She asked about any special areas that I needed her to focus on, which she did and she periodically asked if the pressure was OK. It was almost always OK. When I asked for more pressure she gave it. Her hands were soft yet strong. She demonstrated many different massage techniques and a few stretching moves that I had never before experienced, but they were pleasant and felt healing. Overall I rate Annie up there with the best massage therapists that I have experienced and recommend H2O Massage in Bedford for a great massage at a reasonable price.

I went in to get my eyebrows done and they've completely botched them. The girl that did my eyebrows was not someone that I've met before (probably new) and I didn't get her name. She seemed very pleasant, and I don't find pleasure in writing this review. I've always waxed my eyebrows. They're incredibly thick and if I were to sit in a chair for a threading session, I'd be there for a long and painful time. So I go in and request a wax, sit down in the chair and we get started. When I tell you this girl had no idea what she was doing, I truly mean it. She put scalding hot wax on my eyebrows lid and then let it set for nearly 15 seconds before applying the paper to get rid of the hair. And when it came time for her to rip the paper off, she did just that. Along with my skin. I have burns and skin is missing on my eyelids. She proceeded to RUB my eye lid with force for quite awhile because the wax had adhered itself to my skin, so now it not only hurts like a SOB, it's swollen. Now all of this I can kind of forgive, but then two other salon stylists get involved and attempt to gaslight me into saying it's MY FAULT for the damage to my skin as I have sensitive skin. Again, I've been going to this salon since it opened. I'd say since 2018 at LEAST and this has never once happened to me. My sensitive skin is not at fault for someone not knowing what they're doing. On top of all of this, one eyebrow is MUCH smaller than the other and they were hardly cut back. Typically this is something that happens before you start yanking hair off. So now I have busy, but thin eyebrows. No $27 gift certificate will ever bring me back here again.
