The place looked closed (down) except for a lady who came out from the side for a square as I was leaving. I believe in hidden gems so I stayed but this is a time where I should've stuck with what/where I knew. The place looked clean and well put together but the service left more to be desired. I got an hour massage and I set my stopwatch and I was shorted by about 5min but that's not including the extra long time they took coming back to me after escorting me to my room + the whole bathroom break my masseuse took during my session...I heard the pee, the flush, and the handwash cause there was nothing else to listen to. I think the place is under new management or something. I've been there 3 times in the past 12 months and it has increasingly gotten very awkward. My most recent visit on Saturday April 15th I walked in and asked for an hour-long back massage ($65), I handed the lady a hundred dollar bill, she escorted me to the room and left to get change while I got prepared for the massage. She returns and over excitedly exclaims $35, $35, $35 change on table. (yes, three times) A little unusual but nothing crazy. The massage was decent even though it was about 50 minutes instead of an hour but it was what happened toward the end that really made things weird. She says flip over onto my back, I do so then she lightly caresses my belly and chest with her fingertips. There was no pressure and had nothing to do with massaging. After about 60 seconds she grabs my hand, puts it on top of her hand while she is still gently caressing my chest and belly area. I lift my head to see what is going on and she says "finished". I say "ok, Thank you" and sit up. By then she has grabbed the $35 change on the table and says "I can have tip?" I definitely heard her but I said "what?" to give her a chance to correct herself but she says again "I can have tip? .Thank you!?" I tell her "sure I will tip you $20" and she says thank you for the tip and starts walking out the room with the $35. I say "wait I'll give you $20, let me see the change". I got the sense that she was really playing up the language barrier card. I start to get annoyed as I'm feeling she is trying to finesse me. After a couple more verbal back and forths of her holding my change hostage she hands me $10 back and says, $25 my tip?" I'm over it and say "fine". All of a sudden she steps close to me and kisses me on the cheek and says "Thank you silly boy". I personally think a $20 tip on a $65 massage is pretty decent but I was very annoyed at her behavior trying to force a $35 then a $25 tip. I wish I could say it had something to do with a breakdown in communication or cultural differences but her actions were deliberate and unacceptable regardless of language or culture. I guess some guys like that kind of attention and maybe I fit a particular profile looks-wise (47 year old bald guy) but they really need to address this sort of behavior before they get a reputation of a rub and tug money grab shop. I personally will be looking elsewhere for services due to my most recent visit but I hope you have a different and better experience. read more

I would give 5, as i enjoyed the massage. But for few reasons, i could not. First is their attitude and etiquette. No welcome, no smile, no details about available services. She just put out two forms to fill-up and we followed. Rooms were pretty, nice, comfortable. We took one hour service, she finished at 50+ minutes. Massage was really good, no complain about that. What really pissed us off is their attitude about tipping. They don't have the system of adding tip while i sign the bill. I have to say it upfront. She asked me how much i wanna tip. I told her my amount and she asked can i make it at least 15%? Like seriously!! Forcing for tip?! Then Why dont you mention it clearly somewhere! I would definitely come back for the good massage, but possibly i will look for other option next time. read more

I called to schedule a same day appointment, and the masseuse was extremely accommodating. I had been sent to Texas for work, and my lower back was in serious pain. She asked my preferred pressure for the massage, and picked up on cues when the pressure was too hard. The masseuse knew which areas to focus on, and I left feeling extremely relaxed and pain free. read more

Great massage spot! They were able to squeeze us in last minute for a couple's massage and it was a really enjoyable experience. They were very professional and carefully listened to our requests. Deep tissue message felt awesome, they were able to work out some nasty knots on our backs. Very clean and relaxing atmosphere. I called them and said I was coming at 2 pm..she said great it's walk up. I told her I wanted a 60 min massage- great. I admit I have a proper speaking voice over the phone. When I arrived Immediately the woman at the desk made feel like I wasn't welcome- she shouted come back in 30 mins come back in 30 mins -I'm African American she waited at the glass door for 3 mins until I left..I was trying to read the pricing on the wall. Her attitude seemed like something out of the 60's straight Racist. When I came back in 30mins- [ONLY because I was in Pain and couldn't book a massage no where else short notice.] She then proceeds to tell me she only has a 30 min spot available mind you it's 240ish and they're open till 10pm at night. So I just left she was Again very rude. I wouldn't recommend this place to my DOG. Stay Away they don't care about making you feel welcome. I showed up to my appointment on time and ready, hair pulled back etc. I come into the lobby and ring the bell to have a lady come out to greet me. Cool. I explain I have an appointment and she starts apologizing and saying 'sorry, we busy' over and over and telling me to call instead of book an appointment online. I get massages more for necessity than for relaxation due to some chronic pain I've been dealing with for 13+ years, and when the person I had been going to changed careers, I was left without a cost effective and reliable alternative. Going to a super posh spa regularly is cost prohibitive and I've never had great experiences at those membership based places. Anyway, I tried Spa Plus because they had good reviews and were affordable. I loved it! Ella was fantastic- worked out all the knots in my back, neck, arms, and legs. It is clean and comfortable, and she asked several times about my comfort level. It's not as plushy and posh as a "normal spa," but was comfortable and practical. I will definitely be back regularly! read more

I wanted to take my mom here so i called ahead to make sure they were open and did the service we wanted, foot reflexology. The lady who answered didn't understand my question and just said they do massages and hung up on me when I asked if they did foot massages. Know what your customers are asking so you don't lose business. read more

Not all that great of a massage. They'll press and rub and that's fine but they didn't ask anything initially about what kind, strength, or where I needed to be massaged. Asking them to press harder got a "tsk" and they were chewing gum the whole time. read more

The staff was very courteous and professional in setting up an appointment. Arrived and was impressed by the quality of the facility. The size and comfiness of the rooms are warm and inviting. My therapist was very professional and listened to my needs. She worked my lower back and loosened those tight muscles. I experienced an exceptional Spa session here. My wife and I drove by this place and decide to give it a try.  This place is fancy, everything is nice and clean and well decorated.  They told us they have a couple massage room, and that's exactly what we wanted.  After we disrobed, a couple masseuses came in and asked us how hard we wanted our massage.  We chose medium, since last time we went to a Thai massage place and got work out "too" good. Massage was pretty good, start from shoulder all the way to the feet. I asked to concentrate on my back and they really got the work done.  My wife really enjoy her message as well, and she almost fell asleep. After we flipped, my masseuse start to work on my arms and up to shoulder to my neck and head, and that felt really good.   One hour quickly went by, we had really good and relax time here. This is by far the worst establishment I ever stepped foot in. I made an online appt and showed up on time to an empty front desk. A min later a lady walks out and looks confused when I said my name and my appt time. Then she asked me if I want a 30 min massage to which I asked why I couldn't get the hour Swedish massage I originally booked for. She looked a little annoyed then said some things I couldn't understand since she spoke poor English. Then she told me the price of $65 and demanded up front payment. Which is odd, but I paid anyways. Then she whisked me to a room and shut the door, I had to find the light switch to actually undress since I had no idea what was happening. It was then at the point I should have bolted out of there. But then she walked in, I don't even know if she even washed her hands- and noisily squirted oil onto her hands and just started to paint my back with oil. She then left again abruptly to get a hair clip which she dropped on my head then asked me to clip my hair up. About twenty mins of just choppy, oil smearing- I said "you know what I'll just take the thirty mins" Then she said oh 30 mins $50 I give you change. Gave me change, but I'm laying there like am I already done? And she went to get a wet towel and rubbed my back down and left for me to get dressed. This literally just happened. And as soon as I dressed I ran toward the front door and never looked back. Moral: do not give this place business, as its employees and etiquette are extremely unprofessional. I made an appt solely on prior reviews because I am new to the area. This was a waste of time and money. read more

This place... This PLACE! Oh my god. First of all, they're open until 10:30pm most nights AND they take walk-ins. This fits my schedule perfectly cuz, ya know, you can't exactly schedule when your back is gonna flare up. These ladies do their absolute best to make sure you are relaxed and comfortable. I will return to Spa Plus again and again for relaxation and excellent service. I have been recommending this place to everyone I know who works late hours. Thank goodness for Spa Plus!! read more

5 Stars is a must to this fabulous massage store, actually there are dozens of massage stores in the DFW area, but only here I realize massage could be a luxurious enjoyment. The Therapist L(I am not sure if she is OK with my putting her name on here) gave me a 90 mins Swedish massage, I was ultimately relaxed in the comfy room and light music. will come back, no doubt. read more

Although we got off to a rocky start language wise, the service and massage were top notch. The facilities are impressive and are very different to normal sweat parlors where you sit in a huge room with several other people. This place was immaculate, and the masseuse was well trained. She found every knotted up spot and worked each one meticulously. What I really like was that they didn't overdo it like some other places, unless you asked. read more
