Leduc registries is the place I go, usually once a year when I need to renew my vehicle registration or driver's license. It shares the same building with Drayden Insurance, and while the registries side can be busy (depending on when you go). There's usually several tills open, so it usually doesn't take too long. Last week I waited in line less than five minutes. The service isn't super friendly, but they're polite and quick, which is just what you want. They take cash, debit, credit, and apparently even cheques. Tips - Try to go during the week, and not around lunch or the after work hours (like 4pm) when it likely won't be as busy. - Make sure you have all the relevant paperwork you need (licence or another form of valid ID, proof of insurance, etc.) to help make things go quicker. - If you want you can usually pay for two years of registration at once, which saves you from having to go back for renewal next year. - They also have driver's handbooks, and do driver's tests for Class 1-7. They also have do it yourself will kits at the entrance. Are you gonna go out of your way to go here? Probably not, but if you need new registriation, or a licensce and whatnot this Leduc Registries fits the bill just fine. read more

To yell in front of everyone, is this counterfeit regarding money used to pay, when the person paying was a person of color was extremely degrading, embarrassing and racist! Not asking a manager to come over just to double check, but yelling for everyone inside to hear is inexcusable, and this employee should have been fired, but of course will not be, as this is a reflection of the manager! read more

Hi I was there today and it was extremely busy. Line was long but watch the TV ( about 20 ish min wait) When I got up till lady was nice , I unfortunately forgot done info, so I had to run home and get it. I open the first door young lady with key told me I was not allow in, they are ready to lock doors g .. tried to explain my situation but was not buying it.. as I was walking away , another gentle came up but she let him in after he pleaded his case .. I am just disappointed I wish there more fairness and companion, these days. read more

They would not register a brand new trailer because they were unsure of the process. Unfortunately this is the only registry in Leduc. Fortunately Summerside registries is trained and familiar with these procedures. Too bad I couldn't register where I live though. Save yourself the hassle and drive 12 minutes north. read more

I don't recommend this registration place. The staff is extremely rude, not a pleasant experience.

I went in to change my name after marriage and they wouldn't let me only take one of my husband's last names (he's Hispanic and in their culture they are given two last names). This is after I got our marriage license there and was told it was OK. I advised the rather rude lady of this and then she went and had a discussion with another teller within ear shot about their vast knowledge of Hispanic culture with a lot of "I think and I'm not sure". After a phone call to their manager they told me it was Alberta law to take both last names or neither and if I wanted to only take one name that I'd have to do a legal name change and change my name from birth... yea no. So I drove to the Summer Side Registry on Ellerslie and asked for a name change... shocking when their first question was if I wanted one or both last names and if I just wanted one, which one? I got it changed and a new liscense ordered in less than 5 minutes and when I told her about Leduc she said they get a lot of people from there because of how rude and uninformed the ladies are at Leduc Registries. Went in around 1:00pm on a Monday to get a Driver's Abstract. Took about 3 minutes and cost about $25. The lady helping me was friendly and easy to deal with. Note: there's a 3.25% charge to pay with credit card, which seems to be the norm (IF the registry actually accepts credit cards) read more

Its a registries office, just how exciting could it be? The line up moved really really fast but that could be because the staff don't really talk, do there thing then your out. Theres lots of parking, located in a strip mall so theres plenty. I gained nothing, lost nothing well $85 to the gov'yt to track my car , but overall a neutral experience. read more
