I had asked the waitress to give me a Lido Stromboli with no salami and when I had got the Stromboli, it had extra salami and no pepperoni. I had to pick out all the salami and when I had finished eating it, my stomach hurts really really bad. I would not recommend coming to this place this was my first time here too, so I am pretty disappointed. Would give you 0 stars if I could. I feel sick after eating that. Our first visit here to a local chain. Staff were very friendly & nice menu - we ordered wings & pizza - the wings only had one buffalo flavor, it was pretty spicy but fresh. We ordered a white pizza- their signature is a thin, cracker-like crust served on a square tray. The pizza was just ok, no real flavor although my husband enjoyed it. Located in a strip mall, there is plenty of parking. Restaurant is fairly small but everything was clean. Service was fast and friendly. The food was hot and fresh. While the pizza is more of a flatbread style and not really to my taste it did have a nice flavor (the taco pizza that is, the white pizza was far inferior to other white pizzas I've had). The mozzarella sticks were a bit overcooked and some were hollow from the cheese melting out but the flavor was good. My companion had the cheese steak and said it was delicious. Called a couple days ahead of time since we were going to have a large group and wanted to use the back room so the whole extended family could sit together. I was told no problem and gave my number just in case any issues came up for the day we reserved. While there my mother had a medical emergency and an ambulance had to be called. The owner/manger came back and asked what he could do to help. The waitress was extremely attentive and the food was delicious. The manager called a couple days later asking how my mom was doing. Ordered two pizzas over the phone on a Sunday night. One large pizza and one large sausage, onion, and pepper. They were ready in 35 minutes, not 15-20. After we brought them home, we discovered they were very undercooked. The toppings were dripping off the pizza. The cheese pizza was cooked so thin and was very greasy. I have to take the time and write this review. Today was our first time ordering from this place and it will not be the last. Actually, I'm not so sure why it lacks any stars, it must be questioned? Our food was superb. We ordered the Deluxe Ledo's pizza, honey/spicy wings, bacon & cheese fries and 1 order of chicken/broccoli Alfredo pasta. All meals were fresh and piping hot. To make it clear, we will not be ordering from another pizza place moving forward. Ledo's Pizza made a statement with their food, that statement was "We want your business." took my wife there for lunch 1-7-2023, first time there ,since they closed the on in Culpeper. my wife and I were met with a young lady ,who had a beautiful welcoming smile. placed our order and the young lady even helped us with our order, my wife ordered a salad. and said we would share, our waitress asked if it would be ok to put it into two bowls. i ordered a all meat small pizza. all the order was spot on, our waitress even stopped by our table to make sure we were satisfied with our meal. both young ladies working the tables had great smiles and were very pleasant to talk to. thank you ladies , you made us want to drive back to Warrenton to dine with LEDOES. Absolutely the worst I've ever had from there. This was an online, carryout order. I ordered a Garden Salad which is supposed to be a "mix of crisp greens" but it was 100% iceberg lettuce. Even worse, I expect a salad to have been prepped before serving - meaning the pieces of lettuce and other veggies are supposed to be cut into bite-sized pieces. Instead, the lettuce was in huge chunks as were the onions and peppers. I had to remove everything from the container and cut it up before I could eat it. And the pizza? Not worth the money I wasted on it. I ordered a cheese pizza with sausage, banana peppers, and onions. There were plenty of peppers and onions but very little could be found in the way of sausage. I see no reason to go back since there are other pizza options in Warrenton. read more

I've been eating at Ledo's since College Park opening and have turn so many people on to their pizza. I live in the Warrenton Va area and was over joyed when Ledo's opened up here. Sadly, the consistency of the pizza is all over the place. We love the sauce and ask for extra sauce each time we order. Would be willing to pay for it as a topping even. What happens is we seem to get less! Like we're pissing off the cook. Pull back the cheese and it's pink thin bread. Doesn't taste like a Ledo's pizza. This has happen at least three times now. And it's a franchise...but a Regional one with HQ in Annapolis. Took a break from working in the Warrenton office today and checked this place out with one of my co-workers. I followed his lead and had the steak and cheese sub. It was ok...not spectacular like PizzaRama but OK. Unlike some other reviews I actually enjoy eating at Ledos every now and then. There is no denying that food seems to be frozen or comparable to store bought pizza but it is cheap, fast, and the service is fast. I love the fried raviolis, even though I can make and have had much better. My biggest complainant is what I have witnessed on my plate and my soon-to-be mother in-law's take home pizza. There is a massive amount of grease on the pizza. When she took her pizza home the grease was destroying and pouring out of the box. She brought the pizza back and told them it was too greasy. She got a rude response and then preceded to show them by tilting the box and letting the grease pour from the box onto the counter. I would say point made. It was voted Best Pizza in Warrenton, but I do not see how. There are many other pizza places that are far better, like Joe and Vinnie's. read more

Years ago I used to eat at Ledo's Pizza in Hyattsville, MD, and love the salad dressing and the pizza. I've been to this Warrenton location several times, hoping it will get better. It's just awful and today was my last time there. The service was pretty good, with 2 friendly young waitresses, but the food is truly... ick. My kids got pizza, which was average in my book. I wanted to try other things on the menu, so I ordered the soup, salad, and breadsticks. The soup of the day was French onion, my favorite, so I was excited about that. Oh, it was so awful I couldn't eat it. Tasted like powdered bouillion, frozen to boot, served luke warm in a regular soup bowl (not crock) with... gasp... shredded mozerrella pizza cheese on top? I've NEVER not eaten every drop of my French onion soup, always wanting more because I love it so much, but a few bites of this and I pushed it aside and drank down a soda to wash out the powdered chemical taste from my mouth. I asked to try the other soup, which was Italian wedding soup. This, too, was served luke warm, but the meatballs were COLD. COLD! Tasted like it was right out of a can, too. And this is an Italian restaurant? Truly the worst soup I've ever had... both of them. Asked for the salad instead. I had fond memories of their house salad from years ago in Maryland, so I was hopeful I would enjoy it. It was a pile of chopped iceburg lettuce with VERY little of anything else, just a sliver of carrot, cherry tomato, and a bit of cheese/salami. The house dressing wasn't the same delicious vinagrette as years back, but an over-flavored, over-poweful, over-cheesy conconction that was really disappointing. The one tasty thing I had was the marinara that went with the breadsticks. The breadsticks were over-flavored, too, so I just ate the marinara by itself (drank it - ha!). The sauce was truly delicious, so much so that I nearly bought a $4.99 jar of it to go. I would enjoy that with linguini. Sorry, Ledo. I really want to enjoy you, but there are so many Italian restaurants, and yours is truly at the bottom. read more

Pretty good food, pretty good service. I normally get the steak & cheese lunch special ($6.99). If it's for dinner, I love their pizza. The best thing at Ledo's (besides the pizza) is their sweet tea. :) They also have a back room for parties or large groups that come to eat there. Also a little secret - their honey mustard sauce is just Ken's Honey Mustard dressing - you can buy it at the grocery store if you'd like to use it at home! read more

I've had Pizza Hut, Domino's, Vocelli's, and Pizzarama, but I have to say, the staff and food at this Ledo's would have to be the best of all. Cheaper than Vocelli's, nicer atmosphere and staff than Pizza Hut and Dominos, and better quality and quantity than Pizzarama. After having several mishaps with Pizzarama and Vocelli's, I can honestly say I have never had a problem with any of my orders from Ledo's, and the sauce is sweet and not strong and acidic like most of the other chains. Doesn't taste like it comes out of the generic cans. You can tell everyone puts pride into their job, and the atmosphere of the restaurant shows it. Everyone seems happy, and smiling. Thew only downside is that they don't deliver, which would be a great thing for football nights, but the convenience to Harris Teeter means I can pick up what I need while I'm out, so I won't have to make another trip later. They have great kid food too, as my daughter loves that they have the kind of Mac'n' Cheese I make at home. Kudos to you all! read more

Okay so I've been gluten free now for about 6 months and it turns out that all the really tasty stuff has gluten. One of those tasty things that I've had to forego for way too long is pizza. In a pizza party world I have become nothing but a spectator, and I had pretty much resigned myself to that sad fate. Yep that was the unhappy truth of my life...... until now. Yeserday I had an unexpected and surprisingly successful foray into the world of gluten free pizza. And what's really noteworthy about that experience is that the gluten free pizza tasted like.... well, Pizza! That's not as much of a no-brainer as it may seem; because although various folks have attempted to make gluten-free bread type products, the result is usually a slimy particulate mess. Yeah, turns out that gluten is pretty important stuff. It gives bread that wonderful spongy, absorbant cohesion that makes it so fun and tasty. So my experience yesterday at Ledo was like meeting an old friend whose company I had dearly missed. Well, yes I suppose the metaphor fails because I did eat that old friend, after all. But you get the point. the Marine Corps has a word to describe the kind of Excellence I experienced yesterday. The word is: Outstanding! So I highly recommend Ledo's OUTSTANDING Gluten free pizza. Love the pizza and the great toppings. Near the top of the list for pizza in Warrenton. And the subs and appetizers are great too (i love the bacon cheese fries) Just wish they delivered! but probably better for my waistline that they dont. We haven't been to a Ledo's Pizza in quite a few years, since our first visit was more than a little disappointing. But times & restaurants do change, so we decided to give the Ledo in Warrenton a shot last night for takeout. I called the order in from home for hubby to pick up on his way home from work. The young lady taking down the order was very pleasant & polite, even though one could hear that it was quite busy in the background. Placed one order for an appetizer of "Spicy Toasted Ravioli" ($5.99), consisting of 6 or 7 medium-size ravioli stuffed with Ricotta, Mozzarella, and Jalapeno peppers, breaded, fried, & served with a side of "LEDO sauce"; & one of their "Craft Pizzas" - the "Italian White Pizza" (18"-$15.74), consisting of "Garlic herb aioli sauce, Italian Fontina, smoked Provolone, Parmesan and Asiago cheeses". The toasted ravioli were quite good. Nicely crisp without being tooth-breaking, & completely greasefree. Mildly spicy in a good way, & served with a decent-size plastic cup of a very nice thick well-flavored marinara sauce. The pizza was another story. If you're not familiar with Ledo-style pizza, they're square (or rectangular) with a super-thin, almost cracker-like or flatbread-like crust, & are precut into - ready for it? - literally (I measured) tiny little 3" x 3" squares. I don't know if they do this because the crust is so thin & cracker-like that it's the best way to try to eat it or what, but it simply doesn't work for me. Maybe if one planned to serve the pizza as party finger food, but as a meal item, it's annoying. But the architecture of the pie aside, it went downhill from there. The sauce & cheese layer was so thin it was welded to the pie. And you honestly couldn't taste any of the cheeses at all - just an overpowering saltiness with a touch of garlic. And the grease, oh the grease! (Or oil, or whatever it is.) I kid you not when I say that this pie had to be one of the most unpleasantly oily pies I've ever had (& I grew up in NY, where pizza ain't pizza unless there's olive oil running off of it - lol!). There was literally so much grease/oil on this pie, that it soaked completely through the bottom of the paper-lined thick cardboard pizza box. ALL the way through it to the point of leaving an oil slick on the counter!! Frankly, neither one of us felt very well after just a few small pieces of this oily, salty disaster; & we ended up throwing most of it out. Just way too much oil & way too much salt. Heartburn heaven. Bottom Line: Bill total came to $23.75, & while we might return for those cute & yummy ravioli & perhaps to try their sub sandwiches, we've crossed their pizzas off of our list for good. Hubby did say that the place was packed when he arrived for pickup, so perhaps we either ordered the wrong type of pie, just received a stray bad one, or maybe it's just a personal preference thing. read more

The pizza tasted like something my high school cafeteria would serve and my ceasar salad had a nice pool of water at the bottom of the bowl. (I guess it's nice to know they wasted the lettuce). The baked cheese fries were not bad, so if you'd like a colon-blocking dish, be sure to order that. Our friends ordered stromboli, and it actually looked pretty good. Maybe we should go and try that?
