Picture of pizza box and coupon not honored by Ledos Pizza in OLNEY, Md
John F.

We had a coupon (see photo front and back) that was not honored by Ledos in Olney,Md. Owner said they were not a participating restaurant.

Deborah H.

Called in for a carry out order and the workers there seemed to be super nice! The young gentlemen on the phone made sure that my order was correct and when I came to pick up, he asked if I needed anything else and also showed us the pizza to see if it was everything I wanted. Pizza tasted great. I got a medium with half of Ledo's Deluxe and half Spring Chicken! I also order 12 bone in wings and they tasted far better than Buffalo Wild Wings and Wing Stop! Definitely will be ordering here again soon.

Just ate a Ledos

I started off with a Mandarin Orange - it did not have either color but still tasted refreshing. For the main dish, I went with one of their "Red Pizzas". It is called Salsiccia. It has sausage, broccoli rabe, fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, and garlic. I thought the pizza was delicious and enjoyed everything on it. I must have been hungry as I only left with just one slice, and I did have it the next day. My friend had a "Red Pizza" as well. Theirs was Genoa and it was with salami, roasted peppers, fresh mozzarella, and pecorino. They also enjoyed their pizza too. We were both too full to try dessert and I do love their desserts. Our server was Alyssa and she was excellent.

Abuzz with activity, the vibe was brunchy, lots of tables, but it didn't feel too tight. Once our drinks were served, our party of five became a party of six and they transitioned us easily to another table that accommodated our growing group. Our server, Leah was impeccable in every way. She was patient as we needed to move and patient as we talked incessantly while slowing fawning over the menu. She made recommendations to accommodate our numerous changes, she was just overall a great server. The food came out, hot, quick and absolutely delicious. We are a talking group, so we were there for nearly 3 hours. At the end, one of our group ordered a to-go meal and Leah once again, quickly accommodated us. As we were leaving, one of the managers agreed to take our picture in front of the restaurant, adding a nice cherry on top of already great service. No need to travel to downtown Silver Spring, Rockville or Columbia - this Olney eatery is firing on all cylinders. Thanks for a great experience Salt & Vine!

They offer indoor and outdoor dining, as well as a private room. The vibe is cool, comfy sophistication. My kind of place. Now, let's discuss the food. My date ordered the shrimp scampi, and we both found it odd that the dish wasn't served with pasta. When I think of shrimp scampi, I expect shrimp accompanied by pasta, so its absence was a surprise. I ordered the branzino, which was somewhat dry. I really wished I'd had a lemon or lime to squeeze over it. The portion size of the risotto was entirely too much, especially considering it wasn't very good. The recipe needs to be reworked, and somebody needs to taste it before it leaves the kitchen. We all know a good risotto isn't easy to execute, but that's precisely why it deserves some attention. We also found the oysters to be rather small. The drinks, however, were really tasty! I'd definitely come back because I enjoyed the ambiance, but I'd try something else on the menu. The atmosphere was lovely. The food just didn't quite measure up.

What is nice is that plant based cheese as well as sausage is available. We ordered the Ashton pizza (large). It has mushroom, red onions, green peppers and sliced tomatoes. The substitution and addition was just a modest surcharge (we were okay with it). Pizza came with a thin and chewy crust. It was very lightly and perfectly charred. The toppings were generous but not too densely packed. The sausage was well flavored links cut into slices. The sauce was the right amount of tangy and savory. Happy with the pizza, will be back.

You can taste the quality of the dough and it was nice and firm, but chewy at the same time--very good! The cheese did not slide off upon picking up (had the most mid pie at Modo Mio in Arlington) and the toppings were also pretty solid. Service was not the most enthusiastic, but not the worse; I cared more for the pizza. Thought about whether this place is a 4 or 5 star and what decides that is if I'd come back and I definitely will. We'll give them a 5 star!!

Lastly, we ordered the spaghetti bolognese. It was good. But, one of our group said the sauce was not memorable. He compared it to a Mama Lucia's. The restaurant itself is clean, well organized, and comfortable. I would definitely go back for the pizza and calamari.

In December 2025, my girlfriend & I had a White Elephant holiday party my friend was hosting at lunchtime. It had been years since I went to a Mamma Lucia. I had been to the Hanover location in 2013 & Bethesda in 2016, so it had been almost 10 years since I went. I was never terribly impressed with Mamma Lucia. In 2013 I did a lunch buffet, which was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. In 2016, I had a date, and we split a pizza. Pizza was good, but again nothing to write home about. Olney location overall exceeded my more mediocre expectations. We were a separate large room from Gen Pop, which was nice. Servers were nice, but a couple times were a little slow but mostly did a good job. My girlfriend & I decided to split an entree as we had a BOGO deal only good that day we were going to do for dinner; so we didn't want to overeat. We got a seafood pasta, Seafood Asphargus, which includes some crab, shrimp, scallops, mushrooms on penne, which was excellent exceeding my expectations. The only thing was that it was a lunch sized smaller portion. We are thinking Italian are large portions. The server should've warned us, and she apologized for failing to mention this. The community bread for the table was outstanding too. Because splitting the lunch sized portion wasn't much food, we were pretty hungry at 4:30 and ultimately left our other event much earlier than anticipated, got our BOGO deal around 5 PM, and then came back over there since it was near our other event. We might've been eating dinner at 6 or 7 something if it had been splitting based on the dinner-sized portion. Overall, Mamma Lucia was more good than bad. There were close to 20 of us there. I saw some people hadn't seen in a while and met some nice people including another couple at our table, who became friends. As for the White Elephant, I did well getting an Elijah Craig Kentucky bourbon whiskey. We had a glass on new years. I enjoyed, my g/f didn't like; we doctored hers up to make better for her. We had brought a couple of small snacks, not realizing that outside food isn't allowed. We completely understand that businesses have policies like this, and if it had simply been explained politely, we would have immediately put the food away without any issue. Instead, the manager, Angel, approached us with an unnecessarily rude and confrontational attitude. What should have been a simple, friendly conversation turned into an uncomfortable interaction. Even after we acknowledged the policy, the rude behavior continued, making us feel like we were inconveniencing her by simply being there. There's a big difference between enforcing a rule and treating paying customers with disrespect. The policy wasn't the problem othe way it was handled was. Hospitality is about making people feel welcome, especially when they're willing to comply after an honest mistake. Unfortunately, this experience ensured we won't be returning, and it's hard to recommend a place where customer service is treated as an afterthought.

And, even though it's not on the menu, there is a sign in their window that says you can get a slice of either cheese or pepperoni. PERFECT. So I got a slice of cheese and an order of chicken momos. They said it would take 10 to 15 minutes, but it actually took a little longer... Maybe 20? I stepped out and took a walk around the building. Everything was ready, and I grabbed it, along with a bottle of water, and dove right in. The pizza was piping hot, so I went to momos first. 10 come in an order with a sauce in the middle... My sample size is fairly low, but to me these momos were fantastic. Absolutely fantastic, flavorful and all, especially with the sauce. The pizza... for $5, quite average man. I didn't see any Red pepper or other usual Pizza fixings around. Usually one doesn't have to ask and they might have had them, but I didn't inquire. I really didn't love the pizza, honestly.
